Caprese Baguette sándwich. Wow. That boosted this review up automatically. But also the service! This appeared to be a 1 man show - taking drinks and orders. He was so efficient and so quick. Super friendly with everyone. But the Sammy - omggg!!! So delicious and moist with a nice amount of pesto and balsamic glaze. I don't think I will be able to stop thinking about this lol. I got a local beer from Wilmington brewing company and a corona. Just overall a nice stop at the airport before my flight. read more

Wilmington, NC - Right now Wilmington airport is pretty small so there's not a lot of room for food options. This is my favorite of the bunch because it's the airport branch of Port City Java. Service is quick and friendly and they offer seasonal specials. The prices seem ok to me given it's in the airport. read more

Among all the franchises inside the airport, this is the local Port city Java and they have really good sandwich is my go to is this BLTA bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and of course airport prices. Just make sure that you know if you get anything other than regular steam milk there is additional charge for me. It was almond milk for $1.25 extra the only thing that really annoys me at this place is that the menu font is very small and if you're going to charge $1.25 for almond milk that should be disclosed and there's nowhere on the menu that discloses the up charge. read more

Really Impressive for airport food. I had a salad with chicken tenders. Tenders tasted homemade, if they we're definitely fooled me! Super fresh and delicious, love that salad had bacon and cheese. Didn't like the ranch (just regular bottled ranch taste) not a big deal. Bartender was great, I didn't catch his name. To be honest, this was better than a lot of the restaurants I ate at while visiting NC. Price wasn't bad either! read more

A shout out to the staff at Tailwinds: even after having to deal with annoyed passengers whose flights are delayed or canceled, they still provide great service. I've only purchased coffee from them, so I can't vouch for the food. However, they deserve kudos for being the only coffee and breakfast place opened in the very early hours, serving a ton of (mostly unhappy) customers, and totally killing it. read more

I few years ago I would have said this was the best little airport/ cafe/ ect.. but over the last 6-9 months this place had slipped and stayed down...I fly monthly out of SFG..and while that nit as much as some it's still quite a bit....and my Goto had been the avacado toast but the last 3 times I've gotten it it was barely edible ...and today I couldn't even stomach it...the toast wasn't toasted, the bacon was flimsy and cold the tomatoes was a half inch thick and the egg which I ordered over med was more like easy - sunny side down...., they did offer to remake it but I never trust precooked food . So I told them to toss it...and for get it....I also didn't ask for a refund and that's because they lost my business indefinetly... read more

This is new to the airport and after flying in and out of FAY Regional for over 20 years, this upgrade along with all the others is long overdue. Told us there would be a 15 minute wait for 2 breakfast sandwiches-- it took 35 minutes. Not acceptable for an airport!! But the food was delicious, so if you have the time, better than fast food. read more

The food might be good, idk I bc haven't tried it yet but my service was so bad I'm compelled to write anyway. 2 folks working, one person listening to TV on her phone the other must have been on break because she was starting at me in front of the register but still didn't engage me, very confusing. When I finally got to order the one woman who was working was incredibly rude apparently due to me not greeting her...claiming I didn't say hello. She proceeded to ridicule myself, and another customer after me, for asking about a menu item. I'm sure she is over worked, stressed and understaffed but I'm not sure what the objective was with her rudeness. I hope her day gets better. Unfortunately as an airport customer there's nowhere else to eat :) read more

My daughter, cousin, and I are eating here before our flights to Charlotte. The food is amazing, especially for being at an airport. We shared sliders and brussel sprouts, and had two different salmon salads. I'm so impressed with the food. This has been such a nice meal, just before our flight. The service has been great as well. I'm glad we didn't opt to stop at a restaurant before heading to the airport. read more

I attempted to order at 6:55am and seeing as though my flight didn't depart til 7:30 I didn't see the big issue. The old white lady at the counter was very adamant about not giving me my money back if the flight had departed meanwhile the older black lady who was the cook was also in agreeance and had no desire to serve me. At 7:15 a white man decided to order and they served him immediately. He got his food at 7:20 on the dot. Shortly after I hear them both talking about me with airline personel so I confronted them both. Moral to the story is DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. ILM concessions need a complete overhaul. With the addition of another airline the concessions and restaurant can not keep up with the flow of customers. Locations are understaffed, coolers with cold drinks are not stocked or the drinks are warm. Food items take to long as only 1 employee is cooking. Oversight from management is needed and staff support during busy times. Aramark could run this place better than the current management. read more

REALLY adorable little place situated in the middle of the Wilmington airport. Arrived early for the flight and decided to have a late lunch. Now, I really was not expecting much from an airport cafe but I think I might have just had the best pulled pork sandwich of my life. Service is extremely friendly. It's not very busy as it's a pretty small airport but other people were scattered about having a snack or a drink, they do have a full bar. I would honestly stop back in here for this sandwich should I ever pass by here again. read more

I would give these people a zero if I could. They charged me more than $5 for a double espresso. When I returned to my gate area at the Wilmington International Airport, it turned out to be nothing more than strong "Folgeresque" coffee. Disgusting! So beware those of you who drink strongly flavored lattes and such. You are paying Starbucks prices for Folgers and nothing more. Do not get coffee here! read more

Good fries but everything else sucked. The turkey bacon avocado wrap, which I imagined would be fresh and tasty, was actually greasy flavorless and gross. Similarly the Club was not really a club it was some kind of disgusting fried atrocity. If you are stuck in the airport with no other food options, just eat a nutri grain bar and hope you don't die of hunger before your plane arrives. Or just get the fries. read more

Who would expect friendly service in an airport restaurant? Now, who would expect good food in an airport? Well, this small corner restaurant, just past the TSA check point, kinda made feel like u was in a neighborhood regular. I customer order my burger with a glass of ice tea. Hmmm... 'Twas some darn good tea. Order the burger with raw onions, jalapeños, and mushrooms. The burger came with no mushrooms, but still pretty good... Tasty. Order another one just the same, this time emphasized on the mushroom when ordering. Waitress was super attentive and friendly; and apologized for the hiccup. Second burger was even better. Got the check and gave the waitress a more than deserving large tip, higher than the bill. Wilmington restaurants, in general, were pretty good. This little spot didn't fall short. Definitely will show up early to the airport to eat here again. read more

Absolutely the BEST Mexican food inside the ILM terminal. If you've never had Mexican food, go for it! If you eat Mexican good regularly, drink 2 Coronas and a shot of tequila before ordering. I didn't try any of the American fare; it's probably fine. Enjoy your flight:) read more

Very Distracted staff. Long lead times, and very few customers. Low awareness for the fact their customers have to get on planes. Staff failed at executing the order that I ordered. Also, it was 13.00 for chicken tenders- that were not very good. After the staff member burned the food I ordered, he ate it while hiding behind a door in a kitchen, didn't do the job he needed to do, and left for the day. Awesome. Busy since it's the nicest place in airport. Ladies behind register were very nice, professional and courteous. A lady come out and said coffee could be purchased st kiosk. I specifically said the same coffee as here. Good stuff coffee. Yes she said. No You can't. She said well You didn't say flavored. The person at the register apologized. The other lady never acknowledged us with any sorry for misunderstanding. We had to get in back of a very long line. read more

Tasty, reasonable, quaint surprise especially for an "airport meal"! Best kept secret when picking up or dropping off guests at ILM, parking is free, so go early or stay later for a quick bite before or after the flight. read more
