Orange juice/ salami, egg and cheese sandwich
    Michelle C.

I often visit Taino's Bakery and Deli on East Colonial when I'm unable to make breakfast at home. For under $6 you can get a respectable sandwich with egg and cheese. I usually place the order online, before I leave my home and drive there to pick it up. By the time I arrive, it is usually on their boxie smart lockers. 8 times of of 10, I have no issues with my order. But onece in a while, either the ingredients are wrong, the sandwhich is not toasted or I am missing an item. I try to check my order before I leave and they are apologetic and quick to fix it. Only downside is that it might take a good 8-10 minutes for them to fix the problem, especially if they have to remake the sandwhich. All in all, I love stopping here for a quick breakfast fix, but i always make sure to check my order. finally, I've only eaten inside about two times and it seemed a bit on the hotter side, but area is clean. Not a big facility so seating can be limited at times.

Taínos is a great bakery in Orlando, we've been to the lake underhill location several times. This spot was a bit different. -The menu didn't have any coffee options available only regular coffee, no cappuccinos, lattes, or anything like that when I asked. -It was a bit dirty when we walked in, tables awry, back door left open. The cashier did begin cleaning when we were there so that's good. -The Mofongo was good just a bit salty & the Cuban wasn't anything special. I'm sure with time this place will get better like the other ones.

I ordered here for breakfast as I had been passing the sign and did Uber eats and thought I'd give it a try. Taino's bakery is a really great Puerto Rican spot. I tried the egg and cheese sandwich. The portion of the sandwich is pretty big overall. I really enjoyed it. I added lettuce tomato and onion on mine and it was so delicious. Gave me the impression of breakfast sandwich meets sub. The bread was nice , hot ,and soft. I also liked the vibe . They make fresh orange juice from a machine which was pretty cool . There is also an assortment of pastries. For my sandwich and a drink. I paid 8 bucks which isn't bad. I will say the only con is it gets really packed and there is a bit of a wait. So I would get there early or call ahead of time .

Ive been here a few times and every time the food has been amazing. Customer service hasn't been good and often I get ignored while waiting to collect my online orders. I would rate their service a 1/5 but the food is so good that it makes up for it.

Service was great despite being extremely busy. Ordered bacon, egg and cheese sandwhich which was fresh and delicious. As was the 'pan de agua', coffee and all pastries. We will be back!

Meh. I'll start by saying I am Puerto Rican, and this was disappointing. I hate leaving poor reviews, but this location earned it. My partner liked her steak, but everything else was so bland. There was an abundance of foot traffic, so I gave it a try despite the already poor reviews. Tables were dirty, and staff literally pushed a Bravo shopping cart inside through the back door. The sides I thought were prepped were just just dumped into fryers from Bravo freezer bags. Tostones, sorullos, and yuca came from frozen out of that shopping cart. There was fresh fruit staged in a juicer, but the juices served were bottled. I wouldn't return or recommend eating here. Expecting food inspired by "the island of enchantment," this was an immense let-down.

The best guava pastries around. Consistently good and fresh. Highly recommend their sandwiches too.

The candied pecans gave it a contrasting sugared crunch making it really addicting to eat, and the candied oranges rounded out the flavors. I hope they'll keep bringing this cookie back!

We only had two people ahead of us and waited about 5-8 minutes u til we were assisted. Our cookie handler was super kind and knowledgeable in explaining the cookies. I have tried the pistachio chocolate and coffee cake cookies before and all are delicious. I'd love to try the cakes in the future.

My friend ordered the taro ube milk tea, which was equally enjoyable. I liked it so much that I brought my little sister back the very next day. This time, we ordered another white chocolate matcha cheesecake along with the mango golden cake, and both were excellent. I also noticed that the atmosphere varied slightly depending on the time of day. Around lunchtime, it was quieter, while the evening was a bit busier, but never overwhelmingly crowded. The overall vibe was calm, relaxing, and inviting. One feature I really appreciated was the charging ports built into the high-top seating area, making it a great spot for studying, working, or simply enjoying a dessert and drink. Overall, KORI is a cozy spot with delicious desserts, great drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Bright, clean, and dialed in with pastries that actually look as good as they photograph. You walk in thinking you'll make a quick, responsible choice. Two minutes later you're staring at the case like you're drafting a fantasy team. We went with the cream puff and that was the right move. Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Not the watered-down afterthought you get at most spots. This one shows up with purpose. Overall, easy four stars. Fun stop, great vibe, and a menu that keeps things interesting without trying too hard. Just don't kid yourself into thinking you're only ordering one thing. That plan falls apart immediately.
