Great food! Great atmosphere! Great staff! The lunch buffet is a bi-weekly necessity! The variety and flavors are unmatched by others in the valley. I've been coming here for years and somehow they just keep getting better. The chicken korma is the best I've had at any restaurant. If you go for dinner, the chicken biryani is also delicious. I'm also glad they added mango pudding to the dessert buffet. Everyone that works there is super friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is also very clean. Keep it up Taj! read more

Never been here and I'm always in this plaza a few times a month. Monday noon and we wanted to check it out. AYCE Indian buffet for $22pp. Upon entering, you are seated right away. No reservation needed. Bottle water provided for each customer. A good variety of Indian food plus rice and noodles to enjoy. Be careful as some dishes are spicy. The last cart has condiments plus 2 dessert for you to take as much as you can consume. Great service. Our finished plates are removed timely. New plates are always available by the carts so you always have fresh plates. Flavors and variety are good and very filling. Hit this place up for their lunch buffet because it was mentioned numerous times as having one of the best chicken tikka masala in town. I got to try different things and $20/pp is a great deal to sample the different curries. Personally, I love garlic naan A LOT. And my go to baseline comparison is usually off of the chicken tikka masala. Chicken tikka masala- 2/5. Was okay. Goat curry- 2/5. Tasted a bit off Garlic naan- 2.5/5. It lacked the crisp that I wanted. Samosa- 5/5. Probably the best part of the meal was that this is the best samosa I've had at a buffet. Noodles- 3/5. Was a first to find something that looked like chow mein. It was okay. Service was great- they kept coming to get our plates and our drinks full. Amazing atmosphere, Top Notch customer service from Afzal and the food extremely flavorful! This was our second time at this restaurant. The first time was for the Buffet and this time diner! Another young man recommended a Pistachio desert which was the perfect ending to our meal! The Tandori chicken presented to us sizzling and seasoned perfectly, the chickpea masala rocked my world the Nan was fluffy and flavorful. Even the chickpea cracker table tease was AMAZING! I'm with the crew working in the southeastern area of Vegas and it's lunch time. I know a good way to keep everybody happy is a buffet for lunch. I spotted an Indian buffet just south of the 215 on South Eastern Ave. It was easy to find in the big shopping center that everything in Vegas seems to be located. We get tired of doing Chinese buffets all the time! Easy to find, plenty of parking. Inside is very nice. Drink orders are taken and garlic naan is ordered. It comes with the buffet. The inside isn't super crowded, so no big lines or anything to deal with. There's something for everybody at this buffet. I see they have my fave tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala. I'm not the most adventurous when it come to Indian food, but I know what I like and that filles me up fine. The tandoori chicken was good and the pieces were nice and tender upon my first bite. I love that first bite and it makes me happy! The Basmati rice was fluffy and light and went well with the tikka masala. Service was great, kept our drinks filled and brough more naan for my crew. Price is around $20 per person with tax and some tip. I'll come here again if I'm in the area. read more

Checked out the buffet at Taj Palace as Ixwas in that area and it was a good find! The food was good for a buffet setup, and warm--plenty of variety and the flavors were on point. It's definitely a solid value for the price if you're looking to fill up on some tasty Indian food in Henderson. I'll be back if I am back in that area. read more

I've always loved Indian food and this place really delivers offering all the traditional and authentic dishes one might expect. I ordered two dishes, the Chicken with coconut milk and curry and butter chicken. Both were phenomenal, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. This coupled with the various Indian spices married together made for an absolutely amazing dining experience. The restaurant's decor and design definitely gives guests an Indian vibe along with Indian music played throughout. Kudos to Ash, my server. He was extremely friendly and assisted me in picking my dishes. The dining area was clean and had ample space to accommodate large groups. There's also a stand alone bar serving all types of adult beverages. If you enjoy Indian food this is definitely a spot you should try. read more

I've had mixed experiences at Taj Palace depending on whether I dine in or order to-go. The flavor is always good, but the quality isn't always consistent. Dining in was great. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating, the server was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous. I ordered the Chicken Korma and also tried the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka. Everything came out hot and tasted delicious. I also appreciated that the spice level I ordered was actually spicy. The food did take a bit longer than expected despite the restaurant not being very busy, but it arrived fresh and hot. They also bring out two dips and some large crackers while you wait! My only small downside with dine-in was that water is served as a plastic bottle and charged at $0.50, which would be nice to know ahead of time. The 3-star rating comes from my to-go experiences. Takeout orders are always ready very quickly, usually in under 15 minutes, which is noticeably quicker than dine-in. Unfortunately, the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka are always lukewarm and the Spicy Garlic Naan tends to be soggy rather than warm and crispy. I really enjoy Taj Palace and the curry flavors are consistently on point. I just wish their takeout matched their dine-in meals. read more

We had family in town and decided to have some Indian food. When we arrived it was early and not crowded, we were greeted right away and sat immediately. The owner or manager took care of us and was very attentive. We got our drinks started and ordered shortly after. Our food and drinks came out in a very timely manner. All the food was delicious and cooked well. Our drinks never got low and we're always full. Everyone was very attentive from start to finish and made the visit very enjoyable. The guy was very polite and friendly order was ready so I didn't spend too much time inside but overall place looked very nice and inviting! I ordered 2 butter chicken, a large rice, an Desi salad and 3 garlic naan. I didn't know but each butter chicken came with a small rice I ordered a large rice for $6.00 and didn't really feel like it was worth it just because the container should have been more full considering they are $6.00. They've got GOAT! That's may absolute favourite! Everything else was fairly pedestrian but the goat was the standout. If one wants real east Indian food, you really need to try the goat or lamb offerings, the chicken stuff, eh you can get that at any Indian restaurant, but the goat in particular is harder to find and it takes a great cook to make it great! This place does an exceptional job with their goat. I did try some of the other items also , their chicken tikka was very good and not overcooked and they had strawberry lassi, not an easy drink to find, which was quite wonderful. I even broke with tradition and tried a little dessert, I tried a little bit of their mango pudding, shocking, I actually liked it, it had some fruit cocktail mixed in with it but since I normally don't participate in desserts, it was quite good. If you are looking for east indian food with goat, this is certainly a great choice.and they have strawberry lassi to boot. read more

This place was highly recommended so we went in. As soon as you walked in you can smell the spices aroma and will make you excited for the foods! Very clean and organized. The staff were attentive and friendly. They have so many selections of foods. They were all delicious. If you are craving for Indian food come here for lunch so you can make your own plate from masala chicken, basmati rice, goat meat and they make the naan bread fresh! The food is very good especially from a buffet and the price point. The staff are welcoming and the restaurant is nice and tidy. The closing from 3 to 5 daily is inconvenient especially when the kitchen closes 45 minutes before 3 and the buffet shuts down 20 minutes before 3. I didn't think it was possible for Taj Palace to make their Tikka Masala any better, but the chicken is even more tender now. It used to be a little bit too spicy for me at level 1 but they've made it a bit more mild so that I can appreciate the tomato gravy even more. I find myself craving it weekly. What I didn't mention in previous reviews is that this is the prettiest Indian restaurant we have in the area inside. We order to go regularly but I'm always sad we don't eat inside more because it's so pretty! read more

Tried Taj Palace Henderson location because it was minutes from the airport. Had their lunch buffet on Memorial Day and was glad they were open. Ambiance was just ok but it was nice and quiet inside. The food and choices were good. I was a bit concerned because everyone got bottled water (from Sam's Club?) and I was wondering what was up with that? Free easy parking.
