DO NOT SERVICE HERE. Gave me a defective oil filter, spent hours at shop as the bonehead crew tried to fix problem, they couldn't. Told me to go to full maintenance shop so they could fix it. I did, confirmed defective part. Now, Take 5 is refusing refund. If Take 5 means 5 hours at shop, 5 hours at dealership, $500 in repairs then this is a great location. So many places to get oil changed in Charlotte, no reason to risk dealing with Woodrow, Francisco, Jamarcus etc. handing you a messed up car after a "5 minute" oil change. read more

Instead of asking me to pop the hood the tech barked "open the hood" like a drill sergeant. They were totally uninterested in the customers. It felt like being at the DMV. Visited the Take 5 in Winston-Salem on Reynolda Road Friday, May2,2025 for oil level check and air in one tire. Was pulled into the middle bay and waited 10 minutes. No communication from the staff at all. I will never go to Take 5 again at any location if this is the level of customer service they provide. My oil change has risen to nearly $100 and this location forgets to offer water,clean windshield and check tire pressure even after they check it off on the receipt. That ain't right! read more

My first time getting my oil changed here--definitely won't be my last. I appreciated the guys who took care of me here very much. I showed up on a Monday afternoon and there was only one car ahead of me, but the guys were considerate enough to bring bottled water out and ask me if I'd like one while waiting! While I was getting my oil changed, they also noticed that I had my dog with me in the backseat and asked if they could give him some treats, really thoughtful. The service itself was quick, efficient, with transparent pricing. I opted for a standard oil change and a flushing of my car's coolant--all said and done I was out of there for $150. Really quick oil change! This is just what I needed. No wait on a Wednesday afternoon. They give you a bottle of water upon arrival. They are a little pricey but you can find coupons online- I did and my standard oil change came out to $35. They do not pressure you to upgrade or replace anything- much appreciated! read more

This is my second review of this establishment. I am NEVER disappointed when I bring my vehicle to this location. Adam met me with a bottle of water and I expressed to him that I am relocating to Texas and will miss his genuine courtesy and customer service. He did a thorough check of my vehicle prior to my relocation and I am now comfortable enough to drive from Charlotte to Texas. Due to my weariness from packing the truck the evening prior, I forgot my coupon which was downloaded on my iPhone, but decided not to go back home to grab my cell phone. I love his integrity. Today was my first visit at this location (oil change, filter change, wiper blade change) and I was left incredibly impressed with the professionalism and efficient service provided. It was more than apparent that everyone worked and communicated efficiently as a team. Even being as busy as they were, a team member walked out to my vehicle and provided a bottle of water during my wait. He asked which service(s) I was looking to have completed, and had everything ready to go when I entered the bay. During the entire process (even while waiting) a team member was available for communications, concerns, questions, etc. without hesitation. I came today in my 2017 camaro being a female it's a bit intimidating to enter a male dominated place. There is a lot of mechanics that will say things need to be fixed that are perfectly fine just to earn money . This is not that type of place. I was greatly pleased with the quick service. I don't know this man's name but the brown skin guy with dreads (drives a red camaro ) is hilarious. His customer service skills and great jokes helped ease my nerves. Terrible customer service at the Lincolnton Nc location. Spent almost an hr waiting behind 1 car.. Watched these young employees just wasting time and talking while we waited. Absolutely no sense of urgency or customer relations. Not one employee updated anyone on why service was so poor and slow. I backed out and left. I'll take my business elsewhere.. I never thought that it was possible to actually say I enjoyed getting oil changed but there's always a first time ! Today I drove over to get my oil changed and the guy actually ran out to meet me with a cold bottle of water in his hand and handed it to me promptly. He asked me what I needed and I told him I wanted an oil change and he yelled out to the guys "full service"! Beyond the oil change they actually did everything that they say they're going to do; they checked my tire pressure, they checked my air filters and actually told me I had life left in my air filters and as we know that's an easy upsell for many places. But not them! Washed my front windows and other checks and I was done in 15 mins! Every single one of these gentlemen were great conversationalists they talked with my dog and they were just very very personable and I will for sure be back. All I have to say is David! David! David! This company has really mastered the ease of an oil change but David makes this location great. He is such a hard worker and does everything with a smile on his face while telling jokes. He runs the show there and this location should do everything in their power to keep this young man! Great prices and great service. If you need to get your oil changed, I highly suggest here. They greet you with a water and the lines move super fast.
