Zero stars based on my experience at this Take Five today Saturday, July 11, 2026. I arrived at 11:30 a.m. and there were only two cars getting service ahead of me. After sitting and waiting inside my vehicle for about a half hour an attendant finally came up and told me to drive over to another lane. I moved to the other spot and waited another half hour or more. There is only one other car getting an oil change in the bay next to my truck at this time...an hour after I arrived (NOT the ten minutes promised in their advertisements...hardly). There's nobody behind me for the past hour no other customers which is telling. I'm still waiting and in the meantime I'm watching five attendants working on the car next to mine. Why not send somebody my way by now?! After another 15 minutes waiting inside my vehicle when it's approaching 107 degrees...a female attendant came up to me and explained they were training new employees and I'd have to be patient and wait longer while the new workers were trained. Five attendants standing around at the next vehicle while I continue to wait. Finally, the female employee came up and explained they were nearly done with the car next to me. I replied "Well, the TV commercials for Take Five promise a ten minute oil change from start to finish, and I've waited nearly 90 minutes, and no one has even touched my vehicle yet." The female worker then said "with your bad attitude you can just go someplace else for an oil change.". Not the right thing to say to a paying customer. I told her no I've been here for going on 90 minutes and I'm not leaving until you finish the job. I asked to see the manager. She said he was at lunch and unavailable. I was getting more angry than frustrated at this point. I didn't catch the woman's name who told me I have a bad attitude...but you'll recognize her if you make the same mistake I made by choosing Take Five thinking you could get a fast, courteous oil change. She's the girl with the terrible acne scars on her face and the enormous ass...she wears a pony tail...and looks like a wanna be gang banger. She is bad news and Take Five should show her the door immediately. By the way, she explained to me the new employees getting training were not allowed to touch the vehicles until proven ready...this was told to me as I watched a trainee touching all kinds of stuff under my hood. I drove home after two hours waiting for my ten minute oil change. A few hours later I went outside and noticed a good deal of oil had leaked from my truck. So, I drove back to Take Five and finally got the manager's attention...brought the oil leak problem to his attention and here was his response "Dude, we've been busy today. We did 45 cars..." Oh boo hoo....so when your busy it's okay to half ass the work with a bunch of trainees without inspecting their work?! The manager finally agreed to refund my money after I told him what for. However, first he needed my receipt which I had left at home. Why they couldn't just put the money back into my debit card...I don't know. How hard is it to do that....but no they needed the receipt. I drove all the way home to get the receipt and returned for my refund. The manager agreed that his crew did put on the replacement oil filter improperly and that's what led to the leak. Great job guys! Now my driveway has a huge oil stain on the concrete. Iasked the manager for the phone number to contact corporate to file a complaint and he didn't even know where to find that information. REALLY?! Another employee then informed me they don't even answer the phone at this location. Is that a good way to conduct a professional business? They won't even answer the phone? Ridiculous. Avoid Take Five...go somewhere else for your auto maintenance...this place in Goodyear is terrible and they should just shut it down....corporate should be embarrassed. I'll never return here...and I strongly urge you to visit the Valvoline oil changinging business about a half a block away on Estrella Parkway in Goodyear...at least they seem to give a shit about customer service and I know because I used to go to that Valvoline all of the time...and I will soon return to Valvoline. First time trying to use the 163 for oil change fine kind of expensive but I'll try it. Then come back oh yeah and filter now it's 185. I give a coupon thinking it's 50% off not barely 25 off and I just say screw it they had already started pumping the oil out. I said stop it as going to drive away and they were not even gonna add the quart back in they already started taking before discussing pricing bait and switch I would not recommend at all. On top of that the spilled oil all over the top oil of my motor and did not clean it up the shop I took it to thought I had an oil leak because of that. I wish I could give a zero star rating this place is horrible run away as fast as possible. read more

Yelp does not allow zero stars otherwise this business would have earned zero stars again today. From the front lines to the corporate call lines take 5 is pilling oil all over themselves! I went to their Avondale location today to get an oil change oil change... their name sake. Only to be met by an oil tech whom spent 10 minutes browsing the computer to then come out and tell me he could not service the vehicle because the writer is not at the shop. In 2025, the new age of AI and automation you can't charge me for an oil change? People have fully automated registers on their cell phones and you need a service writer for an oil change? This company has fell out of my grace as I have now been on the corporate line for 20 plus minutes and my wife on the line with local take 5 for 40 minutes as they can't simply locate an employee. The corporate number is trying to force me to call the manager of the take 5 whom obviously is not at the location if I can't get service. Do better take 5. Even when I call to complain you pass the buck back to me and give me a phone number to call. Thanks for absolutely nothing. read more

This is my third time at this location and on 2 out 3 visits this place was never opened on time. Both times there was only one employee present and it seems to be that you have to have two to open the building to customers. Either they need to update there hours or hire employees that actually want to work. It's terrible when you try and get these things done early to beat the Arizona heat and they can't get done As far as the one time they were open on time when I came. The customer service was great. The speed of work was great everything was great except not being open when you're supposed to be open! Do better read more

This location is very slow. It boasts online how you will be in and out in ten minutes. I arrived with one car currently getting serviced, and I was the next in line. I was told it would be 5-10 minutes but waited over 30 before they saw me. Don't expect a quick oil change here. read more

Take 5 on Estrella Pkwy did an ok job on my oil change. Gabriel was very friendly and professional. His assistant that poured in the oil did not appear friendly, but we didn't have to interact with her. Only complaint was I got home and noticed some oil spilled on my engine cover (which I had to clean up). They probably need to be a little more careful about cleaning up any spilled oil. They did take my coupon and overall it was an ok job. read more

I was acknowledged as soon as I got there and Bree helped me. She was amazing, she answered all my questions and she also explained the process and tiers they offered. The prices were as expected but the discount they had was not a great surprise! I already told my sil and his family to visit the one on Estrella. We went to get our oil changed, fluids checked, and air pressure added to our tires. When we pulled up, we were immediately acknowledged by Dylan. He offered us water which we weren't expecting at all and was a welcome surprise. Dylan, Obed, and Gabriel Ruiz did an amazing job of providing fantastic customer service, professionalism, and created such a great experience with their knowledge and expertise. I'm not used to auto employees being so kind and welcoming. Thank you for making my families day with such a quick interaction. I don't normally do this but,... this was a bad experience here. They were very unprofessional the 2 people working were listening to loud explicit music, texting on their phones while working, not in a uniform, just a disaster. This place needs to hire professional people read more

Sergio is not an honest worker. He told me that the basic oil is only for a car that's going to be sold or if the car is not being driven. The pricing list that he provided was in Spanish. I asked for the price listing in English and he said that that was the only on that they had. The English menu was only a few feet behind him, near the laptop. Will not be visiting again. read more

This was the worst experience I had at an oil change establishment . The woman that worked there ( the only one) informed me that I could get a basic oil change for the around $58 ( $70 after taxes and fees) , and this is after I gave our make, model, year and engine . I then drove around and she opened the hood to verify some things and said she would have us in soon. We waited there for 25 minutes , only to then be informed that the price would be $100+ taxes and fees and she apologized . Then asked us to drive through another bay , removed cones ( as if we were gated in and could not leave unless she manually removed the cones) , then I said to her ( professionally) after she apologized again , "you should make good on the price you gave" , which she responded with " that was rude , I apologized ". I then stated, " I accept your apology , but again, you should make good on the price quoted , as we waited all that time ". She again said I was being rude since she apologized . We drove off since clearly there was an issue with this womens reasoning and business acumen. Listen, this is a business and when an employee quotes a price and makes the customer wait for 25 minutes only to rescind the price quoted , then accuses the customer for being 'rude' for stating the obvious ( quote/offer,acceptance ,inspection of car, awaiting service ) this is a verbal contract . No offer to make it right, no discount for the inconvenience , just an incomplete address to fix the situation by saying "I'm sorry". I can only imagine all the other mistakes at this location this women expects to fix with an " I'm sorry" , then when customers object to it's sufficiently, they turn the tables and become the victim and and accuse who they victimized as being "rude" . This employee should be trained on customer relationship skills and the offering of appeasements . Beware of this establishment regarding 'bate and switch ' tactics and incredibly poor customer service . read more
