I had a free car wash on my receipt from a previous wash I wanted to use before it expired on May 9. The receipt was a little faded which made the bar code hard to read. The car wash attendant even tried to help me by looking at it and entering it for me. But unfortunately after a two attempts he was like sorry I just can't read it, it's too faded. That's not my fault though. You could still read the part on the receipt where it says Super Star Car Wash Coupon Redeem for your FREE Clean Wash. He said sorry that's too bad, I can't read the code to enter so you have to pay. Now it's not like I couldn't pay. I just wanted my free car wash honored and it wasn't my fault the receipt was faded. That's how it printed out for me. Anyway he got annoyed, frustrated and was a little rude about it and then tried to sell me their monthly plan for unlimited washes. Like I'd buy that after his rudeness. I bought a basic wash and went on my way. Just honor the free car wash I clearly had the receipt for. Is it so hard to say, oh that's hard to read but I'll honor the free wash for you. Why be a butthead about it? Needless to say I won't be back at this location anytime soon. There's a lot of other car washes near me I can pull into instead.

Let's start by saying what Valvoline is…read more Valvoline is a place for quick, convenient fluid maintenance. Valvoline is **not** the place I would trust for mechanical diagnostics or major repairs. I bring my daily driver here. Is it because I can't change my own oil? Nope. It's because sometimes convenience wins. When it's 115° outside and my Durango needs an oil change, I'm more than happy to let someone else crawl underneath it. The pricing can be a little steep, but that's the tradeoff. You're paying for convenience, and convenience usually isn't free. An oil change is about as low-risk and high-reward as automotive maintenance gets. I pull in, stay in my air conditioning for most of the visit, they drain the oil, replace the filter, refill it with synthetic, top off a few fluids, and I'm back on the road without getting dirty or having to clean up the driveway afterward. Do they try to upsell additional services? Absolutely. It comes with the territory. A simple "No, thank you" has always been enough, and they move right along. I honestly don't have much to complain about. I'm usually in and out in about 30 minutes, my vehicle gets what it needs, and I get to cross one more thing off my to-do list. Sometimes that's worth every penny.

I have been a loyal customer of Valvoline Instant Oil Change for a long time and have always…read moreappreciated the "stay-in-your-car" transparency. However, my recent visit raised several red flags that left me deeply disappointed with the service standards: Unusual Payment Pressure & Distraction: Mid-service, a technician abruptly came over and insisted I pay before the job was completed--something I have never been asked to do here before. Instead of simply running my card, he insisted I walk over to the point-of-sale machine. It felt like a deliberate tactic to pull my attention away and distract me from watching the work being done on my vehicle. Coupon Confusion & Runaround: Initially, a technician claimed my $25 coupon wasn't valid. After searching on my own, I found a $15 coupon, which they accepted. Later, I checked the terms of the original $25 coupon again and realized it was valid after all. I had to contact corporate customer service separately to get my bill adjusted. Overfilled Oil Pan: To top it all off, I was later informed that they had overfilled my oil pan, requiring them to correct their mistake. The core appeal of this business model is being able to watch the technicians service your car right in front of you. Pushing customers to pay early and distracting them undermines that trust. Combined with billing hassles and fluid errors, this visit fell far short of expectations. I hope management addresses these procedural issues.

I am not satisfied with the service I received. When I initially took my vehicle to you on December 4th, my check engine light was on and my radiator fluid was leaking. I advised I only wanted the issue that led to my check engine light and leak to be fixed because that's all I could afford at the time. I was told it was the cause was the Intake Manifold Gasket. The total came to $5005.22 I got a call saying my vehicle was ready and I picked it up on December 17th (8 days after drop-off). I was told to check engine light was still on and they're not sure why, but they drove the car and everything is fine. I drove my car to enterprise to drop my rental back off and then to the grocery store. While on the freeway, to the grocery store, the car shut off. The coolant and engine overheating warming lights came on. (The issue I just paid $5005.02). I called your shop twice and no answer and then I sent an email. December 18th I received a call back and was advised they will come to my house and pick my truck back up. Two men came and picked my truck up. I got a call December 19th. Stating it was now the heat module management/unit that needed to be replaced which came out to another $1078.54. My car was picked up December 18. I did not receive my car back until January 7th. I was told twice before this date that I was going to get my car back. I ended up having to spend $726 for a rental car. My issue is I had to pay $2000 just to get my car taken apart and I wanted whatever the major issue was to be fixed. According to you, it was the intake manifold gasket, nothing else. The fact that I paid $2000 and the heat module management/unit was not identified as needing to be fixed/replaced, I feel like I got extorted. My car was not a priority even after I said I had a rental car, my car was at your shop for 23 days in total. January 7th, 2026 I picked my car up and I have been doing minimal driving. January 10th the check engine light is back on again. (The issue I just paid a total of $6083.56). Not including rental cars charges of $726. At this point I do not want to take my truck back because it is apparent and I mean no disrespect that your shop does not know how to fix my vehicle. I would like some of my money back.
