I went for an oil changed and asked for a basic oil. The cheapest one, the man said okay and proceed to change my oil. When it came to pay he told me it was $83. This was really upsetting for me because the cheapest one is $50. I Began to ask questions and he had already charged my card at this point and then he decides to tell me the basic oil for my car is premium!!! This would have been great to know from the beginning because I would have gone to get my oil changed somewhere else. They definitely need to communicate better with their customers. When ask to speak to their manager it was the guy who charged my card and didn't communicate with me. Nor did he try to fix it. WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN. read more

These guys do a great job servicing our vehicles. Usually not much of a wait, and they are quick with their work, but thorough in the execution of that work. They communicate what they see and find with your vehicle very well. I have never felt pressured to do a bunch extra work on my car while I talk with them about the process. Prices are a little on the higher side, but they often send out coupons, some as much as $20 off, which helps bring down the price. They clean your windshield, check the tires, and make sure you're on you way with a cold bottle of water. Great place for an oil change or state inspection. read more

I just purchased a car and I wanted to change the oil. I always use Take 5. My dealership told me I got oil changes for $5 but when I went they couldn't find the fleet number or account of the dealership. After speaking to 3 different people at the dealership and getting nowhere the manager came over and covered the cost of the oil change. I will forever be grateful to him for being so sweet. My son was with me and he was fussy and tired but these guys got me fixed up. I'm a forever loyal customer of Take 5. Thanks guys, stay hydrated in this heat and keep being ur sweet selves. Avoid at all costs! This used to be the best place to get an oil change when it was Bolton's Oil Change. Ever since Take 5 took over the quality of services has gone downhill. My last visit was my fourth time since Take 5 moved in. I thought that with time they would get better. The exact opposite has happened. It would be difficult for it to have gotten any worse. The main problem is the employees. They simply are not trained and you can see from their attitudes that they could care less about their work or the customer. As a customer of Bolton's for over 20 years, I was always impressed with the employee's professionalism and attitudes, so I know it is possible to have good employees. If Bolton's could do it, so can Take 5. But you have to have the will if you want to find a way. My last visit will be my last. I have never seen such bad service. I was the only car there and it still almost 40 minutes to get my oil changed. They did not clean my windows and the inexperienced employee tried to bend my hood into a U shape, THREE TIMES before he realized that he had not removed the support bar. Most of the employees were walking around in a daze and appeared to either be on drugs or wishing they were. If this was the only time it was like this, I would say it was a fluke, but it has been this way the last three times, with the exception of the guy trying to bend my hood. Good Bye Take 5. My company spends $150k a year on fuel a year here. Our business and our subcontractors we haul with have decided to stop purchasing fuel at this location. Combined we spend about $500k or half a million on fuel here annually. We have decided to purchase our fuel at Murphy's now because Bolton's, now take 5 will not allow us to take a bundle of the complimentary paper towels that all stations give away. This bundle costs at most $2 and these towels are very convenient to put in our trucks. A new employee at this station notified us that we can no longer grab complimentary paper with our $1500 fuel purchase. This employee says their boss does not want us taking paper that costs at most $2. Other stations like Murphy's for example have been happy to provide these which come in use daily to clean truck windows. They refuse to give away this paper while every other station does not have a problem with when we are purchasing a couple thousand worth a fuel. Refusing to take into account that we are buying about 25 times more than the average customer in one sitting they do not want us taking more than one sheet of paper towel. This station has lost $150,000 from our company and another several hundred thousand from other belly dump trucking companies because they feel they cannot afford to give out a bundle of paper towels to someone spending $2k in one afternoon. My boss brings a tank here and buys hundreds of gallons of fuel every week here but now we will be taking our business to Murphy's. I have written this on behalf of my boss to let this station know they have lost a $150k annual account because they are greedy with paper towels. I for one find it extremely disrespectful to nickel and dime a $150k annual account over a $2 dollar bundle of paper towels when filling a tank with $1200-$2000 worth of fuel. Not to mention the additional let's say $10k annually contract drivers spend inside the store on cigarettes and food/drinks when stopping here to fuel. This company must be very near broke if they cannot spare a few dollars worth of paper to keep trucking accounts that spend a combined $500,000 on fuel and goods inside the store. read more

Here's the thing, everyone is hating on Take 5, and today we were on board with that at first. We pulled in and waited for so much longer than expected. Other cars were getting through over and over while we were overlooked. We called the manager, he explained the situation. They are short staffed, it's a world wide pandemic, let's have a little grace. Then he asked us to please come back, they did a phenomenal job. Excellent service, excellent attitude, and overcame the situation 100x over. They may have missed the mark the first time, but they well made up for it beyond what we expected initially. Absolutely piss poor! Okay first I had to show them where to fill oil at. This is a 5.0 liter ford, it has two drain plugs. I pointed this out to them. Well it gets done, I ask them about greasing the front end, they say they don't have a grease gun? Tell me to go across the street to the other shop that they do. Okay I get over there and they tell me that it "got ran over and can't do it ". So I think what a bunch of BS. Well I drive home maybe 3 miles park in driveway and about an hour or so go to leave and there is a puddle of oil on driveway, leaking from plug. So I tighten it up. No nylon washer? Strange it never leaked before.Next morning more oil. So I go and get a washer, drain oil and to my surprise dirty looking oil. That's because they didn't drain the front plug that I told them about. Well I put the oil back and to my surprise again now it's Overfilled! And that is also because the didn't drain front plug. So I drain 1 1/2 quarts out to get it at proper level.Would have and should have taken it back but what kind of stuff would they screw up next. For a $69.99 oil change you should get chassis greased and and the basics of an oil change done correctly. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH BOLTONS.Called to talk with a manager and got hung up on. Will never go back and will tell everyone about horrible job they preform at ridiculous prices. read more

I am only giving it 2 stars because I got a free drink other than that I don't have many kind things to say. First off I want to start out by saying I feel like a Karen writing this but oh well I'm a 22 year old white male so maybe I can be described as a Kevin. I went to get an inspection and they rightfully failed me the first time because my horn was out but everything else was fine. I came back the next day and they told me because my back light was covered in clear scotch tape since there's a crack in it and I don't have the funds to get it fixed at the moment (doesn't affect the brightness or effect of the light at all) they are gonna have to fail me AGAIN. I told them how the first guy had passed that part of the inspection but they called bullshit and said they couldn't finish the inspection until I got that fixed. Fuck this place I'll go somewhere that doesn't care about looks of the car. At least the soda was cold. read more
