I needed to get towed to Seacoast Mazda, over an hour away. They drained the oil, which they said was the wrong viscosity, and refilled it. It was $294. I assumed, since the lines connecting these two events were so clear, and my car is a 2023 with 30k miles on it, that they would just pay and I'd be on my way. They called back and declined to pay for the work. If they won't pay $294 to rectify a small mistake, they ABSOLUTELY will not take responsibility for anything else, either.

My review to Zaks auto:…read more I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change, brake fluid flush, and other maintenance before a Porsche Club of America (PCA) track event. They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.

It is a bit confusing on where the entrance is to drive through depending on which side of the street you are on. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable but be prepared to wait even if you have an appointment scheduled. The benefit is that while you wait they have cable tv in the waiting area with a decent amount of seating and there are many stores within walking distance to help the time go by. The prices are reasonable as well!
