I think they're the best churros I've ever had. My 1 complaint is I wish they had fountain drinks. $3.50 for a bottled water is insane (that's the cheapest drink they have). We went to this spot since it was nearby our film festival and open late. When you walk in, you place your order on a kiosk and grab a number. The kiosk was easy to use and very quick. The staff was attentive and quick, even giving us ice water on request. The inside of the restaurant was almost a deterrent for us because it felt like a night club, but once we got inside it was quiet and nicely lit. the food came out within 5 minutes and honestly was top tier for Mexican food. The tacos were all dressed nicely and my husband said they were delicious. My quesabirria was delicious, hot, fresh, and they were mindful of my substitution of no cilantro (I've got the soap gene). We were stuffed after our food but still made room for their tres leches, which we added dulce de leche to (for no extra cost). It was one of my favorite I've had in Atlanta. It was $40 for both of our meals and dessert (without any drink) which isn't terrible for Atlanta. Definitely more of an indulgent visit but worth it for the delicious and quick bite. read more

Solid tacos and consistent flavors! This is my 3rd talking tacos and I can say they are delicious the same way they were each time! We got the Birria, carne asada, chicken achiote, and bang bang shrimp tacos. All tacos were hot and just the right amount of crisp to soft. My favorite is the carne asada but the meat does have a little chew to it. The bang bang shrimp was a close second because it was tangy and crispy. The Birria was just ok - meat was tender but the Birria itself wasn't super flavorful. Each taco came with plenty of lime and the salsas on the side had a good kick. Love the green! The guacamole on the side is huge and came with a really large serving of chips. Headed to this spot after hanging out . This place is open late (2am). The restaurant was pretty cool looking on the inside. The walls glow and they have cool pictures on the wall. When you walk in they have kiosk setup for self checkout. I order the Vegan tacos and guacamole and chips. Once i finished ordering you grab a table holder with a number and put it on your table. Was out late night looking for something to eat and this placed popped up as still being open. Surprised at how busy they were on a Wednesday at 2am. You order your food at a kiosk and can select Togo or dine in,ordering was pretty simple. The wait was a little long but they were really busy. They had the best horchata I've tasted in a while. Well I finally got here. I intended to eat here a couple times earlier but always got sidelined. Definitely a unique taqueria. I was dining alone and went with the birria tacos. This has become my go to taco choice and these were really good. Honestly they were amazing. The taco dinner came with 3 tacos for $13.99. My first time dining with Talkin Taco was a pleasant surprise. I got a quesabirria taco and it was just an awesome blend of sweet and savory flavors. The pricing was pretty fair for the amount of food you receive. Tried this place out on a random Monday because I heard about the hype via social media. One good thing about this location is they have a private lot. Another additional good thing about the parking it's free. The food here is very good! This place has two options on the way to order. You can choose to go the traditional route and order with a cashier or do it on a kiosk. Once you pay you will receive a number & someone will bring your order to you. I got the option for different tacos, carne asade, birria (which is my favorite) and a chicken which had a sweet sauce on it that I didn't care for. The ambiance has a Mexican aspect and mainly showcasing authentic Mexican culture throughout the restaurant. Since I went with two other people we all got different things to try. Let me start by saying I have gone to this place on three separate occasions within one week. This should tell you enough! When I first went to visit talking tacos. I was really in awe of the set up because you place your order you find your own table you eat and you leave there is no table service, which is quite cool. However, they do bring your food out to you. It was a busy night when we went in and we were immediately notified by staff that the wait time would be 20 minutes for seating and 20 minutes for food however I was determined to try this place. We started off with our drinks. We had the mango lemonade and then I ordered the crunchy wrap. I also ordered the Birria Mac we also had churros and we had guac and chips as well as the queso dip. It was absolutely amazing. Once we sat down. We were given our food within 20 minutes. It took a while for us to find a table at first however, the staff immediately cleaned off the table and we were set. Went in to try the birria ramen and I wasn't a fan. The broth just tasted like beef broth and there wasn't much depth of flavor. The noodles looked like the same ones used in pack ramen. Positive is there was a lot of meat they definitely did not skimp. I only ate about a quarter of it and didn't bother taking home leftovers. This was my girlfriend and I's first experience here after a night out and let me say this is the best experience and food we have had in GA. We ordered from a kiosk showing all the amazing options and I ordered the chips and queso, horchata, kids steak burrito and my girl friend ordered the three carne asada tacos. Her tacos came out fast and they were so amazing. Steak is flavorful and tender while the yellow tortillas were complementary. Horchata was sooo good!! It took a minute for my burrito and chips and queso but I waited patiently. Once I got my burrito it was chicken not steak, I kindly asked if I could get a steak burrito and not only did they accommodate. Sal ( the owner I believe) gave me a big side of steak for my burrito and proceeded to give us more than we could ask for, guacamole and pico to go with the chips and queso and a tres leeches cake to go. All of the food was delicious. This is a business owner who knows how to gain customer loyalty and get them to come back z I really appreciated his kindness and care for his customers. This place is located in a strip mall and it has free parking. It's right off of City market so you really can't miss it. You'll come in and they have music playing and it's pretty themed and illuminated. So it's actually pretty nice as far as the aesthetic go. There is a lot of indoor seating, but you also have some outdoor as well. It's very small so don't count on super large parties being able to sit there, maybe about 5 or so tables. This place has a service area where you will input your order on the screen so you actually don't have to interact with anybody until you pick your order up. If you decide to eat and be establishment, they have a spot where you can put all of your tray and refuse. So it's basically self-serve. They have a myriad of different types of lemonade so you can try a couple of flavors there. Reminds me of having a spot that has a lot of Kool-Aid on tap lol. I ended up trying to birra tacos and grilled cheese. I thought that they were pretty good. The grilled cheese comes with fries and tomato soup. Tomato soup that they give you is actually good and the fries are pretty seasoned. They could be a little more crispy but we're not going to take anything off for that. This sandwich itself was good like, it didn't need any soup. But it did do something different after the tomato soup dip happened. So worth it. The tacos we're equally as good, just the same as the grilled cheese. That came with plenty of cilantro and onions everywhere. And when you dip them in the sauce, it was hot and added some extra flavor to it. Overall if you want to spot that has pretty decent tacos, I would consider it. Some of the stuff is not as orthodox but it's pretty good tasting so that's all that really should matter. I was stopping again actually. The only thing was when I made my order, it gave me a time to wear daughter would be done but the order wasn't done then. If it's going to be a little longer for some reason to let me know. For that price, you could get multiple sides and a half chicken at a place like Bar Taco, where the ingredients also seem fresher and cleaner. Service is quick. You order at a machine and it comes relatively quick. The Birria ramen was decent but felt like it was missing something to really make it stand out. While it wasn't bad, it didn't leave a lasting impression. Another downside was the overwhelming smell of cleaning products in the restaurant. While I appreciate a clean space, the intensity of the cleaning product's scent was overpowering and not enjoyable. Overall, while there are some redeeming qualities, I wouldn't return. They have these kiosks to order on. Fine, but there are so many folks from out of town, including yours truly who may not know the menu and take forever on that order causing the line to be out of control. There is someone managing the area but if there was someone taking orders this would go so much quicker. I tried finding a way to order it online but couldn't get that working outside of an uber eats order. Then you sit down and wait. They scream out your name.
