I ordered pick up a few times and dinned in once. There's always a different vibes depending on what time you go in. The staff is always attentive and you can ask for almost anything and they'll accommodate. If you go really late at night you'll be waiting longer than the estimated time. If you go anytime before 10pm you'll get your food pretty quickly. I personally would rather order ahead even if I want to dine in so by the time you get there it's ready. They have seating window and outside .
Headed to this spot after hanging out . This place is open late (2am). The restaurant was pretty cool looking on the inside. The walls glow and they have cool pictures on the wall. When you walk in they have kiosk setup for self checkout. I order the Vegan tacos and guacamole and chips. Once i finished ordering you grab a table holder with a number and put it on your table. The food came out pretty fast. The Vegan tacos were tasty and the chips & guacamole were good. I'll definitely come back for some late night tacos.
This place was top notch. It gives hole in the wall vibes, which usually make the best places in my opinion. The staff was so friendly and so sanitary! Literal claps to that! The ordering process was simple- there was a kiosk. Now to the food- literally amazing! It tasted so good! The cheese pull was everything. The flavor was packed. 100 percent recommend!
Tried it for the first yesterday, doubled back today. Those Caribbean steak tacos and steak Al pastor tacos are AMAZING. Service was very quick and correct. The space is cool. Love that they're opened til 4am and I know now.
Solid tacos and consistent flavors! This is my 3rd talking tacos and I can say they are delicious the same way they were each time! We got the Birria, carne asada, chicken achiote, and bang bang shrimp tacos. All tacos were hot and just the right amount of crisp to soft. My favorite is the carne asada but the meat does have a little chew to it. The bang bang shrimp was a close second because it was tangy and crispy. The Birria was just ok - meat was tender but the Birria itself wasn't super flavorful. Each taco came with plenty of lime and the salsas on the side had a good kick. Love the green! The guacamole on the side is huge and came with a really large serving of chips. The service was also friendly and efficient, we had our tacos after ordering in less than 15 minutes which was great given how hungry we were.
Soooo I didn't like the birria tacos I've had better so I'll need to come back & possibly try something different Do NOT get a cup of water Buckhead has the worst tasting water The ladies are super Sweet, lots of smiles (I love a good smile) It's a cute & cozy spot-just sit outside and people watch & listen to the chitter chatter and the traffic I'll research to see what's the good over here because that money wasn't well spent -ugghh

The staff was attentive and quick, even giving us ice water on request. The inside of the restaurant was almost a deterrent for us because it felt like a night club, but once we got inside it was quiet and nicely lit. the food came out within 5 minutes and honestly was top tier for Mexican food. The tacos were all dressed nicely and my husband said they were delicious. My quesabirria was delicious, hot, fresh, and they were mindful of my substitution of no cilantro (I've got the soap gene). We were stuffed after our food but still made room for their tres leches, which we added dulce de leche to (for no extra cost). It was one of my favorite I've had in Atlanta. It was $40 for both of our meals and dessert (without any drink) which isn't terrible for Atlanta. Definitely more of an indulgent visit but worth it for the delicious and quick bite.
Was out late night looking for something to eat and this placed popped up as still being open. Surprised at how busy they were on a Wednesday at 2am. You order your food at a kiosk and can select Togo or dine in,ordering was pretty simple. The wait was a little long but they were really busy. They had the best horchata I've tasted in a while. My tacos and tres leches cake were good. Only complaint would be my cake was placed sideways in my bag causing it to spill all in the bottom of my bag.
Talking Tacos in Buckhead is a fantastic late-night find. I stopped by after hours and indulged in the bang bang shrimp tacos, which were absolutely amazing, quick service too. The spot stays open until 2 AM, making it perfect for those late-night cravings. With 11 different taco options, including a vegetarian and a vegan choice, there's something for everyone. The exterior patio is a great place to relax and enjoy your meal.
Well I finally got here. I intended to eat here a couple times earlier but always got sidelined. Definitely a unique taqueria. I was dining alone and went with the birria tacos. This has become my go to taco choice and these were really good. Honestly they were amazing. The taco dinner came with 3 tacos for $13.99. I added a Mexican soda for $3 more so with tip lunch was $20. So a solid 4 stars. Hard to rate $20 taco lunch a 5 but this was close. I am going with 4 stars today but will be back.
Awful confusing service. Typing orders in kiosk with notes and the staff doesn't read them. Why would I tip if I typed the order. The kiosk is not setup for details or additional charges. And the birra ramen was unseasoned.
I love coming to this location. They stay open until 4AM on weekends and the food is always good. I got the birria burrito and it was huge and tasty. Nachos and specialty items are also good.
We had Two taco trios, they were all insanely good, like the best tacos I've had here in GA. The horchata was sooo smooth and velvety, more like an amazing dessert than a drink (lol) but delicious. The churros were actually the area of opportunity here. In my opinion they needed to be crispier. The food was amazing, the service fast. I left a personal item at the table, I called an hour later, they had it. I came back for it and they were super nice. Speaks volumes to me. Overall 10/10

Mid mid mid skip skip It's a grab and go place - order from kiosk and grab food at the counter. You can dine in however it's very shabby looking. No alcoholic drinks. Food was kinda cold when we got it. Chips were a bit stale. The queso tasted like cheddar or something. The carne asada was not very good quality beef. The bang bang shrimp was decent however. read more

Love this place. Been here twice now. First time I think I had the birria burrito. 2nd visit I had the birria nachos which were huge!! Had the dulce de leche churros both times. I think they're the best churros I've ever had. My 1 complaint is I wish they had fountain drinks. $3.50 for a bottled water is insane (that's the cheapest drink they have). They really want you to buy their $6+ specialty flavored (non-alcoholic) drinks. I'll still return. read more

My first time dining with Talkin Taco was a pleasant surprise. I got a quesabirria taco and it was just an awesome blend of sweet and savory flavors. The pricing was pretty fair for the amount of food you receive. I did not eat inside the storefront so I cannot attest to that aspect of what the restaurant environment offers but for take out orders, I advise you just check that everything is included especially if you ordered dessert or other specialty items. read more

I've lost count of how many times I've been here since discovering this spot earlier this year. Whether I'm coming in during the peak lunch rush or well past midnight, the experience is consistently amazing. One thing I really appreciate is the seating; regardless of the time, I've never had to wait for a table, whether I'm solo or with a group of five. The decor is modern and upbeat, and while it's great during the day, the vibe at night is definitely my favorite. The Go-Tos: I usually order the Birria tacos paired with the Mango Lemonade (it hits every time). If I'm doing takeout, the chicken burrito is my move. I always leave satisfied. Tried this place out on a random Monday because I heard about the hype via social media. One good thing about this location is they have a private lot. Another additional good thing about the parking it's free. The food here is very good! This place has two options on the way to order. You can choose to go the traditional route and order with a cashier or do it on a kiosk. Once you pay you will receive a number & someone will bring your order to you. I got the option for different tacos, carne asade, birria (which is my favorite) and a chicken which had a sweet sauce on it that I didn't care for. The ambiance has a Mexican aspect and mainly showcasing authentic Mexican culture throughout the restaurant. Since I went with two other people we all got different things to try. Ok birria tacos. Good tortilla. Meat lacks flavor. Not enough cheese. Consome is decent. You order at a kiosk or on your phone. We got 1 order birria tacos and 1 order 3 mix and match tacos, 1 small queso and 2 bottles of water for a little over $50. This seems expensive for the quality. Let me start by saying I have gone to this place on three separate occasions within one week. This should tell you enough! When I first went to visit talking tacos. I was really in awe of the set up because you place your order you find your own table you eat and you leave there is no table service, which is quite cool. However, they do bring your food out to you. It was a busy night when we went in and we were immediately notified by staff that the wait time would be 20 minutes for seating and 20 minutes for food however I was determined to try this place. We started off with our drinks. We had the mango lemonade and then I ordered the crunchy wrap. I also ordered the Birria Mac we also had churros and we had guac and chips as well as the queso dip. It was absolutely amazing. Once we sat down. We were given our food within 20 minutes. It took a while for us to find a table at first however, the staff immediately cleaned off the table and we were set. The ambience is quite unique super cool to look at all the paintings on the wall And it's quite loud but they had good music playing. Did I mention this place is 24hrs!? 10/10 loved it! I ordered Birria ramen, birria tacos, street corn, and Dulce leches churros () Total - $55.36 Pros Those churros were so good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I liked them the best. The birria tacos were packed with meat and cheese with the dip on the side. The dip has bold flavors with a little kick. Cons The birria ramen came with a lot of meat, but I wish they didn't use literal instant ramen noodles. The use Kirkland water and charge you $2.50 a bottle. Went in to try the birria ramen and I wasn't a fan. The broth just tasted like beef broth and there wasn't much depth of flavor. The noodles looked like the same ones used in pack ramen. Positive is there was a lot of meat they definitely did not skimp. I only ate about a quarter of it and didn't bother taking home leftovers. I really enjoyed the pico de gallo and chips I had for my appetizer very yummy and fresh! read more
Been wanting to stop here for a while - but it's best to pick a non weekend day - stay away from Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun - primarily because they are packed and add to that the steady never ending flow of DoorDash, uber eats drivers picking up - BUT it so worth it ... the food is delicious and fresh!! I had the Birria Tacos, the consommé was delicious... made that Birria experience great! Rice and Beans completed the order equally tasty...everything tastes like it was just made for me... Had a lemonade to drink - free refills btw they have a wonderful variety of flavors too- a really good experience in a space with a cool vibe - will absolutely go back and highly recommended. This place is located in a strip mall and it has free parking. It's right off of City market so you really can't miss it. You'll come in and they have music playing and it's pretty themed and illuminated. So it's actually pretty nice as far as the aesthetic go. There is a lot of indoor seating, but you also have some outdoor as well. It's very small so don't count on super large parties being able to sit there, maybe about 5 or so tables. This place has a service area where you will input your order on the screen so you actually don't have to interact with anybody until you pick your order up. If you decide to eat and be establishment, they have a spot where you can put all of your tray and refuse. So it's basically self-serve. They have a myriad of different types of lemonade so you can try a couple of flavors there. Reminds me of having a spot that has a lot of Kool-Aid on tap lol. I ended up trying to birra tacos and grilled cheese. I thought that they were pretty good. The grilled cheese comes with fries and tomato soup. Tomato soup that they give you is actually good and the fries are pretty seasoned. They could be a little more crispy but we're not going to take anything off for that. This sandwich itself was good like, it didn't need any soup. But it did do something different after the tomato soup dip happened. So worth it. The tacos we're equally as good, just the same as the grilled cheese. That came with plenty of cilantro and onions everywhere. And when you dip them in the sauce, it was hot and added some extra flavor to it. Overall if you want to spot that has pretty decent tacos, I would consider it. Some of the stuff is not as orthodox but it's pretty good tasting so that's all that really should matter. I was stopping again actually. The only thing was when I made my order, it gave me a time to wear daughter would be done but the order wasn't done then. If it's going to be a little longer for some reason to let me know. And I came for lunch ... Well I came after lunch so it wasn't crowded. But other than that though it was pretty good. read more
We live nearby but had never stopped by since Talkin' Tacos opened. So on a random Tuesday, we decided to partake in Taco Tuesday and boy are we glad we did! The prices for the tacos themselves were great. The vegan taco was good and the birria grilled cheese was something great I hadn't ever tasted before. The chips and salsa were overpriced for what it was but overall we had a great time and will be back! read more

This was my girlfriend and I's first experience here after a night out and let me say this is the best experience and food we have had in GA. We ordered from a kiosk showing all the amazing options and I ordered the chips and queso, horchata, kids steak burrito and my girl friend ordered the three carne asada tacos. Her tacos came out fast and they were so amazing. Steak is flavorful and tender while the yellow tortillas were complementary. Horchata was sooo good!! It took a minute for my burrito and chips and queso but I waited patiently. Once I got my burrito it was chicken not steak, I kindly asked if I could get a steak burrito and not only did they accommodate. Sal ( the owner I believe) gave me a big side of steak for my burrito and proceeded to give us more than we could ask for, guacamole and pico to go with the chips and queso and a tres leeches cake to go. All of the food was delicious. This is a business owner who knows how to gain customer loyalty and get them to come back z I really appreciated his kindness and care for his customers. I will be coming back no questions asked and be telling everyone about this spot!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!! Also the restaurant itself is beautiful, amazing art and neon signs with a clean maintained restroom! Couldn't ask for more!!! read more

The place is the same as always on the inside... & their birria pizza has always been elite. IDK WTF HAPPENED. They put a bunch of toppings on the top... the green sauce tastes like HONEY MUSTARD.... the "bread" or "tortilla" is SWEET... Literally wtf is this... BIRRA IS MEXICAN NOT VENEZUELAN. More toppings doesn't mean it's better.... It lost its authenticity... I will never come back to this place again. I called and let them know that food us disgusting and the man said "that wasn't nice to say"... the truth isn't always pleasant. The chef really took an L with this one. The food is literally NASTY AF!!!! The tomato sauce... I have NOOOO IDEA WTF THAT is... it tastes like tomato basil pasta sauce. $60 in the trash. read more
