Was put in charge of locating Tamales for the Christmas Eve tradition and I was looking to find a solid place. The reviews were very good but a little dated so I was unsure if this would still be an option. I messaged on this app and got a pretty immediate reply from a very friendly person. We exchanged messages and they were able to commit to 3 dozen tamales (pork, cheese/chile, and chicken) as well as a pretty large tray of rice and a tray of beans. We arranged time of pick up on Christmas Eve morning and we waited. We arrived and picked up on time. The business operates out of a residence where they were busily working preparing food and there were a lot of orders for other customers. The whole thing was quick and painless at pick up and the pricing was consistent to prior other year businesses we have tried. I don't want to specifically quote their prices as they may fluctuate a bit with costs etc but the tamales were cheaper than tamales factory (5.00 each) in San Jose and well within what I expected to pay. They were warm as if just prepared and packed in ziplocks and a paper bag and aluminum trays for transport. We took them to Milpitas and we decided our finders fee for my son and i's work was to get to sample one. We picked a pork tamale and split it with grandma. The flavor was amazing, the Maza was moist and flavorful with the sauce and a perfect amount. Man they were delicious, I will say their sauce has a good little bite so if you don't like spicy at all you may need to request or even choose another location. It was amazing to us and we were very pleased. The overall size of the tamales were just a little smaller than some of our previous places so if you have hearty eaters, you might want to add a few but they were still plenty for our regular eaters filling up on 1-2 each. The big boys ate 3-4 each and we tried all of them. The chicken and pork were amazing. I liked the cheese that had a carrot and I think a potato wedge mixed with the chile and it was very good. I can't tell you if the chicken or the pork was better but I really liked both. The trays of beans and rice were medium sized aluminum trays and both were very good with plenty left over. I hope to take more business to this place as the quality was amazing and I live in Fremont so they are super close by for pick up. Hope this review is good for others and gets you to support a local family who churn our quality food for your get together. Got to work and shared it with coworkers and we all loved it.
