There were other taquerias in this building before but this is my first time going to the Papa Nacho's Taqueria. Lobby and tables were clean, so atmosphere was good. The service was good! He was really nice and also offered me the hotter sauce which I really appreciated! I got the nachos there. I don't really like to leave a yelp without a full meal, so I have to go back and try their tacos. But with the nachos, by the time I got home they were already soggy. I highly suggest the harder tortilla chips next time bro! I gotchu with the improvement aspect, so I hope you pick this up :) it would be way better than the thin chips. This was a taqueria before but I think it was too tame/Americanized for me back then. This took over and it is now more of a true taqueria. The smell of different taco meats on that hot plancha is actually quite thick in there, small space maybe 10 or so seats. I go to the Grocery Outlet next door often, so I've been trying their tacos as of late. Here are some notes. Tacos are the tiny street tacos 3-4 biters. Tacos start at about $3.25 and can go up a buck or two, depending on meat upgrades like lengua or up your taco to a 'super taco' with cheese/avo. The tortillas are the super yellow ones and heat them up pretty good, but sometimes you'll get some with more oil, so it has a more fried texture. I like it better like that, instead of just a dry warming. Toppings are only cilantro and onions, no salsa on top. Any salsa will be on the side in a ramekin. Carne Asada (4*) Pretty good but ya gotta like it crisp and well browned. It is actually so crisp that it can get a bit dry. But I do like the flavor as this is seasoned nicely, and I do swoon for well seared beef. Carnitas (3*) This was not seasoned as good as the carne asada for some reason. Kinda bland actually. Had to douse this with their salsa, which are pretty standard but good. They have a mild green and a warmer amber colored one, both super smooth and on the thinner side. Al Pastor (3.5*) This was seasoned nicely but for some reason some of the edges of the chopped pork meat were burnt. Not a deal breaker but it was quite noticeable. Maybe an off day mishap. But good 'al pastor' marinade. Lengua (4.5*) Pretty legit, quite tender but still a nice bounce. Seasoned nicely and simply. I'm gonna ask if they have any pickled jalapenos back there as this could use a nice punch. Gonna try a burrito next. They also have a bunch of shrimp dishes like a Diabla and a coctele. Those are in my wheelhouse too. Grocery Outlet outs are looking like taqueria outs as well. And I ain't mad at that. read more

So far it's been tasty. My husband got the quesabirria with the consume and i thought it was delicious! I wanted the lengua tacos, and i felt it was not to my liking. My friend says the quesadillas are really good. And if you love spicy sauces, you gotta try their orange sauce. Will definitely return to try their shrimp burrito. read more

We came in at an odd time and the place was empty. This place caters to the nearby Highschool I think and offer many foods and drinks for that age group. I was intrigued by the hot Cheetos burrito and the nachos. The size was pretty good and the crunchy texture or the cheetos in the burrito was yummy but then I didn't like how the cheetos made everything pink cause it grossed me out. The nachos were big and filled with everything. Those I would order again as well as the quesdilla with asada. The chile relleno a la carte was solid and filled with cheese. Overall the place was ok if you want more street style food. Service was fast and decent prices. Can my stomach handle eating here frequently? Hell no- at my age this is only once in a while. This place puts all other taquerias to shame!!!! The absolute juiciest, most flavorful and mouth watering El Pastor you could ever dream of. I crave these SPECIFIC tacos at least once a month. They're warm and seriously seasoned every time. I was so fortunate to randomly meet the owner today working at his own store and ringing in the food and this man LOVES what he's made, and rightfully so. Don't pass over this spot. Great customer service and great food. My only issue is the salt. I like salt and definitely need salt. However, I think the burritos here have too much salt. This is my 3rd burrito and it has the same amount of salt. The only thing that would stop me and my family from coming is the extra salt in the meat. read more

We've gone to Papa Nacho's a few times now which is a big compliment to them as we had historically not been able to find a go-to burrito place. Perhaps it's due to all those years I lived in Southern California and got truly spoiled from my hole-in-the-wall burrito joints that served the most delectable and gigantic burritos for less than $3. But I digress... Our go to here is a Bean, Rice & Cheese Burrito as it is about half the cost of a burrito with meat added. If we have meat on hand at home. we may add that later as we have only done take out. Burritos are a good size -- can finish in one sitting if I'm really hungry, or save some for a second meal. Though my son at 4 years old could finish his in 1-2 sittings by himself and really loves his BRC burrito (with nothing added). They offer a choice of beans - pinto, black, refried - which is much appreciated as our family tends to not prefer the same type. I am accustomed to being able to add on cilantro, tomato and onion (rather than pico de gallo) but this location always claims they don't have any diced tomato to add, just cilantro and onion. It's hard to believe, but they've been consistent about this, so I usually add tomato at home. I'll probably try the pico de gallo next time to see whether I prefer that as it would be easier. Ok so this is going to seem so basic at first. I ordered a bean & cheese burrito. When trying a new mexican food place or taqueria I don't just dive in all the way, I like to start out with a simple burrito. I consider how fresh the tortilla is, do the beans seem like they were made that day , are they too runny, do they skimp on the cheese? If they do simple well then that's a green light to come back and try other menu items. The place was small w/6 little tables or so. Very clean and the staff was nice. My burrito was made so quick and they offered me Mild or Medium salsa or both so of course I took both! I prefer the red salsa. Cute clean & fresh and a $5 off DoorDash so I'll be giving it another go for sure. read more

The foods good, today I ordered 2 Hot Cheetos burritos, 1 carne asada burrito and a order of nacho Fries. Everything was good until we found a small hair inside the asada burrito and in the nacho fries . I called up the place to let them know about it respectfully but I guess they can't take responsibility and the man on the phone tried to use the UNO reverse card on me and basically say that it was my hair. I wasn't calling for a refund or anything it was just to let them know and to be more careful but I don't think they appreciated it ‍ read more

The food here is really good. I go there a few times a month for lunch. The service is fast. But today I walked out before I ordered. It's nearly 100°F outside today and they have no AC. It was uncomfortablely too hot inside to eat. I guess I'll be back in the fall because their food is really good. read more

At the suggestion of our son who goes to the neighboring high school, we were able to call in our order and get some really good nachos. The rest of the family ordered tacos and they were all very happy with it. Overall, good food, nice people working there, and it really did hit the spot. read more

Ordered lengua tacos it was not good as I expected to be. The meat was dry and the tacos did taste good. Will never return to this place.
