Great sub however horrible customer care. Open until 5 on Saturday unless they don't feel like it!?!? WTF!? Maybe it's a cultural thing but if the sign, the web sight, the phone message and the Yelp app says your open maybe in the crazy one but you should be open. I got here at 4:50 and the place was dark!!?? I just don't understand how you stay open when you treat your customers like this!? Be respectful if your customer or you won't have any! read more

I've tried many subs places in miami and always end up back at subs etc on bird road. But i recently moved west and decided to give tamiami subs a try. The curly fries with cheese are delicious. The sub i got a philly steak and it was a underwhelming. Didnt have the taste i like the bread was a bit stale and the serving was small. I also asked for mayonnaise and was given miracle whip. The taste is so different it kind of ruined it for me. The staff is very friendly though and the space is kept clean but ill be making the drive to bird road read more

Great Subs. Very tasty and fresh. I ordered the Honey Mustard chicken and it was amazing. The honey mustard sauce was so good but not overpowering. Chicken was seasoned well and I was able to distinguish between all the different flavors of the entire sub. My wife had the Garlic Steak sub and enjoyed it as well. Their house garlic sauce really makes this sub unique. They also have 6" subs and other choices besides just subs. I will definitely order from here again. They do not take AMEX FYI. And they offer online ordering. Very convenient. I would have to say this is my new sub spot. read more

I started eating here on my way home from work. My favorite is the jalapeno-ranch chicken. Their steak sandwich with cheese sauce is out of control awesome. The best (and probably the only) sub shop around this area. The sandwiches are made quickly and just the way you like them. It's a pretty small area with a few tables so there isn't much space when the place gets packed. I first heard of Tamiami Subs through a posting on our Jeep Clubs website, so I decided to try it out. This place is a little hidden but not hard to find on 120th Street off 137th Ave on north side of Tamiami Airport.. Gotta tell you that they have the most incredible garlic steak sub! I go as often as possible and can tell you that place is always kept clean and staff is as friendly as can be. Menu and food is excelent and if you like subs it's definately a must! read more

Alright, alright maybe my review is slightly biased because I'm a hungry bear fanatic. I read such good reviews & decided it was time to test out the competition. First off, their prices are just as high as hungry bear and the sub is no where near as fulfilling as hungry bear. I will agree, the svc was great and employees were VERY nice. The place does have indoor seating, which hungry bear does not. You've got to dodge birds over there outside. I ordered the garlic steak that everyone was raving about and eh, maybe I set myself up too much? The bread roll is no where near as large as hungry bears either. Hungry bear packs the sub and this place didn't. Normally i have to take half home and I finished the whole thing. Sorry, I just didn't feel what these other reviews felt. Great service! Service is important to me...it is the prelude to the actual food. I took an army with me and the counter helper was positive, patient and attentive. Each order was made as specified! And the price was right (Free soda with each sub purchased on Thursday - nice surprise). From children to adults, subs, wraps, and fries were enjoyed by all. sooooo how bout my friend and i ordered from this place and it was...wonderful. We were both pleasantly suprised since pretty much all we have around here for some options are hungry bear and subway. The service was fast, the place was clean(always something to look for when starting a love hate relationship with somewhere new to eat lol), the people were nice, as soon as we walked in and looked confused we were told what their personal fav's were off the menu. Which helped me atleast, garlic philly cheesesteak....i love you. Overall a super fast, nice, inexpensive experience, i will surely be here again with my friend.
