I've heard great things so I finally came to grab a quick lunch here..very glad I did! I ordered online to have my food ready once I got there. Their system was incredibly easy to use and worked flawlessly. I pulled in 15 minutes later and everything was good to go. No wait! I ordered the Garlic Steak (their most popular sub) and it was delicious. Everything was packed in nice and tight (I usually add a lot of things to my subs too) and was wrapped perfectly and incredibly neat. Their service was also great. Small place. 4 booths and a counter that fits 5. Ingredients were fresh. They're very friendly. The place doesn't smell like your normal sub shop. But I think that's what makes you sacrifice a bit of taste in the chicken. Mine was a little over done. Also, my whole wheat bun was hard. Also, the bread is a little thicker than most sub shops. So the bread to stuff in your sub ratio is a bit off. More bread than I'd like or am used to at other sub shops. However, the free soda (Thursday) and the excellent crispy fries were great. $11 for a whole sub and fries (free soda). read more

Cruised into Tamiami subs today. The menu is pretty inviting. Lots of grilled options, chicken and steak subs, burgers, salads and wraps. Service was on point & food was brought out rather quickly. I ended up having their "signature" sub, which is there garlic steak sub. Shaved steak (old school steak-um style), provolone cheese, lettuce tomato and grilled onions. The sauce is tasty. I always gauge my overall satisfaction by knowing if I want more because it tastes so freakin' good, or if I'm gonna crush it because I'm all sorts of hungry. In this case I didn't finish my sub. I also gauge my interest by thinking if I would travel to eat at a place this. In my opinion it's a nice neighborhood sub joint. The food is good, not awesome. If you are in the area or live in the area, great little spot to kill the steak bomb craving. Service is very good, very attentive staff and food is in your hands relatively quickly. My favorite sub is probably their honey mustard chicken; I order it on wheat and add onions, tomatoes, salt/pepper, oil/vinegar and American cheese. I love the variety of iced teas they serve too! I've been coming here for over a year for lunch. I stick to the Italian sub which is great when your in the mood for tasty salty cold cuts. Wednesdays are "double stamp wednesdays" in their rewards programs. Meaning you get 2 stamps for each sub you buy. 10 stamps will get you a free sub so that's pretty amazing. Tried this sub shop near Tamiami airport the other day for the first time. Walked through the door and was met with a pleasant, genuine greeting. The most pleasant young lady, after learning it was our first time, was patient with us and took our to-go order. Got home and the Italian sun and chicken Caesar wrap were delicious and ample! We liked it so much that today (less than a week later, we took advantage of their on-line ordering option. Got the buffalo chicken bacon ranch sub. When it comes to sub shops in the tamiami area the pickings are slim, but this is one shop I often go to when it's open. The customer service and cleanliness of the establishment is top notch and the girl working the register is always very nice and helpful. The menu has a lot to choose from and they do offer breakfast that's really delicious. With the subs, a 6inch gets you 4 ounces of meat and a foot long gets you 8 ounces. You can order any sub with extra meat or double meat which obviously comes in increments of 4 ounces My only gripe at this establishment is their prices and the amount of food you get for it. I ordered the foot long garlic stake sub with double meat which comes with 16ounces (1 pound) of meat, when I opened my sub at home it did not look like a pound of meat, but mostly veggies and I spent $15 plus change for a sub where the bread at the top of the opening was able to close completely surrounding the contents. The cookies and fries are yummy af. Idk who made my crispy chicken blt today but damn, you deserve all the best things in life. We went there together for lunch a few days ago and the place is very clean, the staff are very attentive and up beat and unlike other places, there was no employee's acting like idiots. Great sub however horrible customer care. Open until 5 on Saturday unless they don't feel like it!?!? WTF!? Maybe it's a cultural thing but if the sign, the web sight, the phone message and the Yelp app says your open maybe in the crazy one but you should be open.
