I would say the milk tea here is pretty decent, and definitely decent enough for me to stop by when I'm here to shop at H mart. I've been seeing photo after photo of these refreshing looking "tea" drinks and finally decided to stop in and give one a try. Kung Fu Tea sits in the center of the strip mall on the south side of University on the road behind the Del Taco, Firehouse, Kyoto. (that sentence has way too many prepositional phrases). I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and I told the friendly man and woman behind the plexiglass. I told them I wanted to try one of the Thai Milk Teas with the bubbles/boba. They recommended the default flavor for the Thai tea and who was I to argue. It took a few minutes to prepare and I ended up receiving this sealed cup. I must have looked puzzled as they explained to me that I had to poke the straw through the plastic top. Like a giant, adult Capri Sun, I obliged with the main difference being a delicious milky sweet drink being underneath. The pearls kinda tasted like fig to me, which was great. I was expecting them to burst (kinda like the ones at the yogurt places) but they were more chewy like a soft gummy. I enjoyed it then realized I forgot to order the non-dairy version. Dang it! Oh well, it was delicious and sweet and was a nice treat for the drive home. I'll be back to try a non-dairy version as well as some of their food items. Everytime we come to this specific Kungfu Tea our drinks taste horrible and half the time they do not have the drinks we want available. We have been to other Kungfu Tea locations and haven't had the same issues. I would not recommend going to this boba shop. I ordered a basic milk tea with cheese foam and boba. 1) They forgot to put ice in it... or it melted by the time they gave it to me 2) The cheese foam was bland and had no taste 3) the milk overpowered the tea 4) it took 20 minutes to get my drink because they had to make the foam... 20 minutes to make foam???? Staff was friendly and attentive from arrival. Service was nice. Being a big boba tea fan, I had tried Kung Fu Tea from other states and they are usually pretty good. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the large passion fruit green tea with aloe jelly. For those health conscious or just prefer something less sweet, I would recommend to tell the staff to adjust the sugar and ice level. I had my passion fruit tea adjusted to 30% sugar (less) and ice (less). It was awesome and I can taste the flavor of tea and not just some syrup. The place was pretty empty around 2-3 pm for a Saturday and would be conducive to study. But I haven't been to this place often to know if it perhaps get crowded during other times( given its pretty close to UCF). Kung Fu Tea is in a great location in the UCF area with a lot of college students. I came here around 8pm on a Sunday. There were students studying inside in the tables. A girl employee took our order and she was rude. I feel like that ruined my mood to have a chill Sunday night and to hang around there. As soon as we got our order, we left right away cause of the vibe of the rude employee. On the other hand, the drinks were great! It was different from what we have here in South Florida and it was a great change. We ordered lychee punch, Kung Fu milk tea, taro slush, and more that I cannot recall the names. The tapioca was chewy and fresh just how it's suppose to be. Everything we got tasted good. I did check in, but didn't get the chance to use the 10% discount. I ordered a taro tea and asked what level of sugar I can include. I confirmed I wanted 30%. The drink I received was definitely not 30%, instead it tasted like I was drinking taro syrup. I asked if they could adjust the sugar since it didn't seem like it was 30%. They then gave me a black tea instead and told me it was taro. Taro is my go to bubble tea, this did not taste like taro at all. And I was not told that adjusting the sugar would impact the taro taste (neither for my first order or for my replacement order). So basically, I spent $6.50 for a bubble tea I had to throw out. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

It's conveniently located near UCF, which makes me wonder why it's not packed in here. I got my usual, the oolong milk tea with 30% sugar and less ice. I usually get mini boba, which they have at both Atlanta locations, but they didn't have it here, so I got my second favorite, herbal/grass jelly. They accept the LevelUp app - but be sure to download the Kung Fu Tea app to ensure your rewards! I reached Yellow Belt level with this purchase - which will be like a Gold Starbucks membership, old school. Every 12 visits scores me a free drink! Also, looks like they've got food here. So many skip the Taipei 101 if it's out of the way. They've got a lot of Taiwanese snacks here! I can't vouch for anything on the food menu, though, as I didn't get a chance to try any of it. The second time I came, they didn't have the drink I wanted so I settled for the oolong tea that the barista recommended, as he said it was similar to what I asked for. I had to wait for the drink to water down a little bit, for it to have a liking with my taste buds. This place is awesome! The boba tea they have is lightly sweetened and taste great! The boba bubbles are sweetened in honey, which gives the boba tea a nice, sweet flavor. This location also serves food. I got the Tofu Bento box, which was really good. It came with white rice, crispy tofu with a sweet chili sauce, seaweed salad and a "tea egg". The tea egg was really good. They soak the eggs in tea after being hard boin=led. It gives the egg more flavor. I think I'm going to start doing this at home. I will be back! Stopped in today for lunch as Yelp's nearby lunch suggestion feature showcased this place and the taro slushie photo had me sold. The place was empty when I walked in so I was immediately greeted by the lone employee working behind the counter. She seemed happy to have me as a customer and was helpful answering my questions about the different toppings and what went well with my slushie. I opted for red bean and bubbles and also got the chicken nuggets bento box which she said was her favorite. After paying, I used the restroom which was decorated nicely and very clean and by the time I came out my drink was ready. I made myself cozy on a couch and enjoyed every sip of my drink while I waited on my food order. By then about 3 customers had come in and each were helped right away. I found myself alone in the restaurant again but that was ok because there were things to look at on the walls and of course I could have played on my phone but I was really just enjoying the ambiance and my delicious drink. After about 10 minutes, my food was ready and I was on my happy way. Once I got back to work I dove right in. Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was well seasoned with Chinese 5 spice, it wasn't too greasy, the rice was cooked fresh, the tea egg was savory and salty, the seaweed salad was sweet and salty and the pickled ginger balanced everything out. The chicken reminded me of a cross between Chic-fil-a chicken nuggets and Hawaiian mochiko chicken with a Taiwanese flare.
