This is my favorite place to get a buffet for lunch and I go there 3 times a week sometimes. The food is always sooo goood. They introduce new things as well on the buffet. We heard about this new place and wanted to give it a try as we already have some Indian restaurants we order to go from and if it would be one to add to the list. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer. I will say that I was surprised and both of the chicken dishes were good. However, I am glad we asked for them spicy because the spice level was good and I think if we didn't get them spicy then they would have tasted a lot more sweet. The Saag Paneer was really good and my favorite. One thing I will have to say that I was surprised about is, that you have to purchase an order of rice separately. My first time coming here I tried the lunch buffet. There was a good variety of food for both meat and vegetarian options. Nothing particularly stood out to me though from the buffet itself. The naan however was very delicious, buttery, and fresh. The second time I came here, I tried the vegetarian thali and thought it was quite delicious. Every item on my plate was packed full of flavor and paired well with both the rice and naan. I think my favorite was the saag paneer. It even came with dessert. Service was great. Owner is Gujurati. Lunch buffet was mediocre. Tomato soup, naan, all the dessert options were good. However the cauliflower seemed undercooked in the Aloo Gobi, there was no Paneer at all in the Saag Paneer even though we looked for Paneer cubes buried inside but found none, korma was underwhelming and the Dal tadka was too ordinary (nothing special). So, I like the setup. I definitely felt welcome when I walked in. They accommodated us for a different seating arrangement because it wasn't as busy. The pakora was probably the BEST I have had in some time. I ordered a simple chicken curry and my friend had the goat. They were so flavorful and aromatic. The only feedback was that there was a piece of goat that maybe could have been cut finer or cooked longer to soften some more. I did a carry out order, but I was still very impressed with the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant just from picking up my order, along with a super friendly staff. When ordering online I was impressed with the variety and length of their menu, so making a selection was challenging (in a good way). I went with the Navratan Korma with mild spice (sorry I can't do very spicy) and I really liked that half orders were available. The Samosa Chaat with Raita and garlic basil cheese naan were also excellent. I'll happily go back, probably to dine in since I noticed they had mixed drinks and Indian beer. The food was delicious, well cooked and served hot. The drinks menu was adequate, and we enjoyed a very nice glass of Piot Noir at a reasonable price. Hopes were high that this new addition to the area would be a good one, alas it was a letdown. The space has been occupied by many failed restaurants over the past 20 years or so, and this may be the next. I want them to succeed, and I want them to improve (A LOT). The greeting and seating was friendly and fast as we arrived for their buffet lunch. Everything looked clean and new in this fresh Indian spot. The buffet items were all labeled well and appeared very recently prepared. We tried pretty much everything offered. Our overall impression: lacking flavor intensity. Many of the dishes could benefit from simmering a few more hours with double the spices to allow more flavor to develop. As far as actual spicy heat is concerned, there was none, but we'll let that slide so as to be able to allow for individual preferences. The naan comes out nice and hot with a little ghee on it, but the dough was a little odd (too thick and sorta raw in a few places). They should perfect that soon--everyone else has. The plates are a gray plastic with a rough texture on the eating surface that makes a very unpleasant noise with every fork contact. Wanting something less breakable and lighter in weight than ceramic is understandable, but that scraping noise is bad! I hope the chef tries some well-established Indian restaurants inside the loop soon and takes lots of notes. Good luck. read more

As soon as we walk in we are greeted by the workers very kindly! We are immediately seated and are ready to order. (We have previously been here). As we look around they have definitely upgraded the decor and overall ambiance of what was the previous restaurant. About 8 minutes after we order are samosas come out and they are delicious. So very good so far. The. our Chicken Tika Masala came out next and it was really good. It was the perfect amount of spice and flavor. It was a pretty big portion.
