If you like Korean food and you haven't tried Tang Jip, you're missing out! This food is authentic Korean, perfectly seasoned with quality ingredients. I've eaten at restaurants in Seoul and Tang Jip is up to par! Try their pork belly and their galbi tang soup. Check out the photo for what we ordered, needed a larger table! Try the dessert place next door for Ube + mango ice cream, so yum!

We love coming here on the weekend for our korean food fix! The banchan is always a hit and the bossam is presented well and delicious. We usually get the small bossam, galbi and spicy cold noodle combo, and a beef bone soup. Everything tastes fresh and hearty. Pricing is average for korean food nowadays, but if you come on the weekday they have a nice lunch combo($19.95) that I see a lot of people come for. Service is good, the food takes a little bit of time to come out but the wait is worth it! Plenty of parking and next to a lot of other resturants or dessert places.

Good food , chill ambience and great customer service. Galbitang is my go to option usually.

Soontofu replacement with egg. Almost loaded gif... arrives bubbling hot!

4.5 stars First ever visit. My local, favorite Korean places keep closing. Happened three times. So, trying another. Friendly, helpful staff. Answered my questions Started with Ban Chan. I noticed as a solo I got 4 dishes, but saw 5 going to other tables of 2 or more. I suppose thats fair. It was very good. I think the one I didn't get was eggplant, because I saw glimpses of purple going by. I love eggplant, so I'd ask for that next time. Had the lunch combo. Spicy pork BBQ and Soontofu. I requested an egg in the tofu soup - they forgot it but replaced it promptly. Food arrived very hot, soup bubbling. Rice is included. Everything was delicious. Very generous portions. One note, I dont understand the robots. They take your order in the traditional manner. My Banchan was carried out on a platter and placed on my table. The pork, soup and rice arrive by robot cart, followed closely by the server. I heard the cart announce "please take your food" but the server moves the food from cart to table. Tables are cleared, the check is presented, in the traditional US restaurant method. Maybe they realized it's dangerous for guests to reach for the very hot dishes. Maybe they rely more heavily on the carts when theyre busier. Maybe locals just arent entirely comfortable with robot carts. Its not a negative, it just seems a little odd, or pointless. Overall, I really liked it and I'll be returning.

Tang Tang Tang has become Tang Jip. The interior remains unchanged but the menu has been revamped. We went on a rainy afternoon after all the other Korean restaurants take their break. Since they are open all day Tang Jip catches all the overflow. During our lunch they were at least 50% full. Their staff including the robot was trying to keep up with all the orders. The menu has most of the Korean classic items. We ordered the following Sul lung tang 4 stars just ok Seafood pancake 5 stars large portion lots of seafood crispy edges Jap Chae 4 stars ok Service was ok considering how busy it was . Food from the kitchen did take some time to get out. Plenty of parking in the park n save shopping center.

Plenty of free parking on a Sunday around noon. The retardant wasn't too busy upon arrival, but did start to fill up within 30 minutes of being seated. was greeted immediately and seated. Our server was very prompt. The restaurant didn't feel too loud once it began to fill up. Good was delivered very promptly after we ordered. Loved the pork bulgogi. Our rice was slightly on the mushy side, but was fine once we paired it with the tofu soup. Loved the green onion pancake and Banchan. Great flavors. Hearty portions.

Their budae jiggae (army soup) is really good and they even use bone broth for it. It has beef spam sausages and tofu and is a lot of food. We had been looking for a good army soup since our favorite one at Korean BBQ Plus closed down and am glad to find this one. Will definitely try out some of the other dishes too but overall a good experience. Banchan is also solid.

Their lunch special rate is a pretty good deal especially if you're hungry. Their prices are not overly expensive and their menu is enough to have different options. The places just opened when I came in a few days ago so I was the first customer. Their restrooms are at the back by the kitchen, it's just one hallway so you won't miss it. Food wise, my soup was great, paired with rice. They only have white rice. As for their sides, I enjoyed most of it but the kimchi and raddish were overly fermented. The food was carried one of those like Bellabots then served to the table by the staff. The restaurant is in a plaza so there's plenty of parking

I ordered cheese tteokbokki and LA kalbi combo with cold noodle. Tteokbokki used to came in a pan and the sauce used to be tasty but now they served in a bowl, which make it less exciting and the cheese doesn't melt through evenly. Also they used to served way more side dishes before. Their kimchi wasn't edible, it had a strong soap smell. Not sure if it was just our table but I had to throw up cause it tasted awful. The prices of each meal only have gone up but the quality got worst. I used to have good memories of eating here but now, I would not recommend it. It was pretty bad.

Concord used to have a handful of Korean restaurants back in the late 90s, but the Park & Shop complex now has three! Among them, Tang Jip has easily become our favorite. Korean cuisine is not limited to barbecue, and that is what Tang Jip represents. They have tang, jjim, jjigae, myeon, and more. Japchae - It's really difficult not to try some of those chewy and delicious sweet potato noodles! This had a good balance between the sugar and the soy flavors and had the right amount of sesame oil. It also had wood-ear mushrooms so we really enjoyed the chewy texture of this dish. Soon Tofu (Soondubu) and LA Galbi Combo - This was the first combo dish that we tried here and it was very good especially for the price. The beef ribs were well-marinated and were grilled medium-well while the soft tofu stew was flavorful. Perfect way to try two dishes right away. We wanted to get the Naengmyeon and LA Galbi Combo, but the japchae already took care of our noodle craving. Bossam - One of the reasons we love Tang Jip is because they have small portions of bossam (boiled pork belly) and jokbal (braised pork trotters) in their menu. Since it was just my wife and me who ate the first time we went here, we decided to go with the bossam. The pork belly was thinly sliced and had a very small amount of fat. It was already tasty, but the accoutrements it came with - radish (both the sweet and the spicy salad), garlic/jalapeño, lettuce, ssamjang, and the salted shrimp - made this even more enjoyable. We tried a lot of combinations wrapping the pork and it was best with the musaengchae (spicy radish salad), garlic, and the ssamjang. We ended up getting the Naengmyeon and LA Galbi Combo on our next visit and their Bibim Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles) was very refreshing on a hot summer day. We also got to try a small serving of their Jokbal and I liked this more than the bossam because it was cooked with the skin on and the gelatinous texture was amazing. It was also more aromatic and had a richer flavor. The Garlic Bossam was fine, but I preferred fresh garlic over the garlic paste. We've been back a few more times with our daughters and son-in-law and also with our friends. Service has always been very friendly and accommodating. The place is clean and roomy so there's more wiggle room for everyone. Maybe the parking can be a bit of a challenge at times, but we've always enjoyed coming here. It would have been great if we had Tang Jip when we lived near the area, but it will always be a good reason to swing by this neck of the woods occassionally.

May have found my new favorite spot! Stopped by for a quick lunch for 1 & couldn't have been happier. The place is very clean, it was pretty quiet in there. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I ended up getting a lunch special... beef bulgogi + soondubu. The food was so flavorful & the soup is probably one of the best I've had! The portion was pretty big as well, I ended up having it for lunch & dinner.

My daughter was invited to a birthday party at Urban Air and so we came here for lunch afterwards. We were starving when we came around 2:30 and surprisingly, the place was pretty busy even at this time. My daughter got the rose tteokboki and it was delicious, not too spicy and the tteok was tender, chewy, perfectly cooked and it was the long tteok that's so fun to eat, almost noodle like. The tofu soup wasn't very impressive, I found the depth of flavor in the broth was lacking. It wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped it'd be, even though I ask for it extra extra spicy. I would love to come back and try their other stews, it seems like a popular place. The service was great and they have the robots that come out with the food. The service was good and ambience is very nice. Definitely recommend, but maybe don't get the tofu soup.

    Chicken Bulgogi / 닭 불고기 / 板 烤 雞肉
    Chassidy T.

Tang Jip is one of those restaurants where you crave a specific dish that you can't find just anywhere, for me, it's the rosé tteok-boki. Craving satisfied as of now. We also ordered items that I haven't tried yet, which were pretty good & I'd definitely get again: 1) kimchi pancake 2) chicken bulgogi I was initially worried that the chicken would be dry, but it was great! The kimchi pancake was delicious as well, especially with their dipping sauce. As for service, they usually have two guys taking orders, so there is sometimes a wait -- Especially for today, a Friday night. Additionally, there seems to be some operational work for the restaurant to look into: One customer came in right before us and they happened to add themselves to the Yelp Waitlist, however, when you arrive, there is also a paper waitlist being maintained. So this made it quite confusing for both the host and customer around when to slot them in for a seat. Fortunately, several tables opened up. I do like this restaurant! But I'd definitely go during lunch hours when there are way less people.

The minced pork sauce clung onto them really really well. The minced pork had a nice balance of sweet and savory, although it leaned towards a little sweeter than I personally prefer. But it wasn't a problem at all, since I was able to adjust the flavor to make it more savory by using the Chicken Granules, Cumin, Chili Oil, and White Pepper condiments. Overall, it was a very satisfying dish! We also tried their new shaved ice dessert. It wasn't like the Hawaiian style shaved ice which is based on frozen water, but more like Korean style Bingsoo with a milky shaved ice base. The flavor and texture were both good, but I thought it was missing the toppings. It relied solely on syrup, and I think it would've been much better with fresh fruit or other toppings to add more flavor. It was $5.99 per order as of July 2026.
