So we came here for my birthday as my wife surprised me. We drove up and right away you can see the tanks and acp etc. We walked in and met the staff. Everyone is a marine. They made that very clear. We then moved to a room where the guy gave us the talk. We then watched a 20 min video. We then met the lead guy for the tank and jumped right in. I drove the tank and my wife and friend sat behind. Tank America -- where you can drive tanks over cars, through the woods and into huge piles. It is simply amazing. Driving a tank is no small feat, and the team at Tank America do a fantastic job getting you ready to hand a beast of a vehicle. You get training indoors, where you are shown specifics on how to drive safely, how to get into the tank and what speeds you need. You will be given info on the course, and what to do best. I'll admit, I was a bit nervous at first, but by the end I was very confident in my tank driving skills. My girlfriend and I were part of a large group that drove the tanks and got to ride in the all terrain passenger vehicles. BE WARNED! This is real life, real tanks and real mud. You will get dirty. You will hear loud noises. You will need to climb into the vehicle. I am 6'2", and this authentic tank wasn't built for someone my height. I did fit, but because these are real, you may need some time adjusting to find your mark. Trust me, it is SO worth it. Bachelor parties, special events, even corporate events could work here if you know everyone could be excited to ride or drive. And, NO, you don't have to drive. There can be drivers and riders. Don't feel pressured, these machines are very, very powerful (but that's what makes it fun)! read more

I bought my husband the Commander Package for Christmas and we finally made our way out here a few weekends ago. 10/10 experience, we had SO MUCH FUN! We booked the 10am reservation because we know Florida gets hot so we wanted to beat it as much as possible. There was a safety briefing and option to add anything on in advance, but you still have the option to keep going or add on different experiences while you're out driving. Instead of going into combat mode for our third round my husband decided to let me drive a lap. The guide was great in helping us how to drive the tank and when to make turns. Beginning with John who followed up with me for almost 3 months while I was able to finally coordinate a date. He gave me the perfect itinerary for our family of 5, strongly recommend the full mile, even 2! Brandon was incredibly welcoming and funny! He gave us all the proper instructions to make sure we knew what we were doing and made us feel safe. Cameron was our guide for the ride, he was phenomenal!!! He made sure my son felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire drive and assured my 6 year old and I were safe (as passengers). This was a pretty cool activity with friendly staff. The tanks were huge and was super fun watching them run over the cars. Bathrooms were super clean and the interior had an army vibe that elevated the venue. One of the employees explained to me how the tanks are able to be driven on regular roads because the they had been redesigned. She explained the cost and it was just a pleasure to have such an informative conversation. They close the venue for private events and let me just say, this is a cool thing to do. read more

WTF do I really have to say... you get to drive a f'n tank!!!!! For real a tank! What a great time this was. The entire staff was amazing! These marines know how to make sure you have a good time and they are all super nice, accommodating, and too good of salespeople. They know how to get your money and they aint shy about it, lol. Absolutely awesome- this was an incredibly awesome experience. My husband booked this for our sons birthday, and we went with three adults and one child. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and being the only woman of the group my expectations were not super high about the whole experience. our guides were Amelia and Justin, and it was an absolute blast! There is about a 30 minute "debriefing" where you have a fun introduction to the experience, the course, the history and mechanics of the fleet of tanks, and the driver gets the nuts and bolts on how to drive the tank. We then went out, and it was easy to get in and out of the passenger area of the tank, and my husband had an absolute blast driving the tank. They have video footage of the entire experience from all angles and my husband had me drive the last lap and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. The guides were amazing, kind and patient and you can just tell that everyone there loves their job and what they are doing. We will definitely do this again, and I highly recommend it for anyone who is at all interested in the military or who just wants to drive a tank! The history of the tanks was really interesting, and I couldn't help but think of all of the servicemen and women who were in the same vehicle under very different circumstances, and have a deep respect for those soldiers. A definite must do for any family traveling to the Orlando area! read more

A group of us came to Tank America to celebrate a bachelor party. The groom was our driver and several members of our party rode as passengers. Kevin and Sean were awesome! Kevin was super friendly and informative. I learned a lot from him. Sean was the tank commander and everyone had a great time with him as well. They really took their time with us, made sure we got lots of pictures, and encouraged everyone to have lots of fun. One of our group members even decided to do a lap of his own as a driver! Everyone had a really good time. Our drivers were a bit dirty after their laps so we decided to skip laser tag. The laser tag looked like a lot of fun though so I'd love to go back to try it. We came here to drive tanks for my friend's bachelor party weekend, and drive tanks we did! They have a number of post war APCs and tanks from England, and you pay by a certain number of laps. Our group of 7 had one lap each and we were able to ride along while our friends drove. The tanks themselves are like nothing else you've driven (or been a passenger in) and the experience is exhilarating. Plus, for an extra few hundred dollars you can crush a car. I didn't try this (it seems a little wasteful) but my friends thoroughly enjoyed it! read more

A group of three of us did the Advanced Troop Package at Tank America and had a fantastic, great, awesome time! The two times around the obstacle course for each of us was really cool. It's not a "realistic" experience like you might find in a theme park, but it is real. It's a real tank! You have to pay attention in the briefing and it is an accomplishment to drive it. We had a blast!!! My husband and I like to take our teenage grandkids out on excursions as often as we can. Yesterday we took our grandson to Tank America and they did not disappoint! The time with Kevin and Shawn was Informative and exciting. There was another group there with kids and they interacted great with both the kids and our teen as well as joking with the adults throughout the three hour experience. If you are just the spectator/camera person they will take you to a tent where the drivers/riders load up in the tank. While you wait for your crew to come back you can play Corn Hole, Horseshoes or just relax at the picnic tables under the tent. It's a nice set up. Keep in mind, it's Fl and it might get warm so bring a bottle of water or purchase something there. Also, this is a REAL TANK! So if you are expecting to ride in a luxurious comfortable air conditioned automobile, well, you better stay home. This experience would not be for you but if you're ready to rough it and go for the ride of your life, this place is for you!!! We did the Laser Tag only. Myself and my son who is 8 years old. We L O V E D it! We loved it so much, we added a second hour for just $15 more each. The facility is awesome, and we have done laser tag at other venues. Nothing comes close to this place. They spared no expense on the interior paint, props, furniture, etc. The entire place has good A/C, but you will still sweat from running for your life! The weapons are realistic. They have a muzzle flash, slight recoil, and realistic loading. What makes this place so amazing is the staff, however. They go out of their way to make sure your experience is nothing less than perfect. My son is rather young compared to the rest of the warriors, and they really catered to him to make sure he had fun. The tech is fantastic. Quick kill registers and a leader board are perfect. They have tons of different game play scenarios to keep it exciting. I can not recommend this place enough. You will love it! My son and I went after hearing about it on TV. We purchased driving experience for each of us driving an Abbot tank. The experience exceeded what we imagined! Kevin explained the vehicle, operation and driving controls. You even get to experience the driving compartment in the class room. Everything was explained which gave us confidence in the tank operation. After the class we were driven to the tank in an armored personnel carrier. We met Sean, our tank commander, at the field base. He gave us quick instructions on hand signals and safety. We then loaded up and drove a trail system weaving through the woods and up and down bluffs. You also get to traverse a mud pit. Personell were knowledgeable, helpful and approachable. They give you the confidence to enjoy a really crazy experience. I cannot recommend this enough! Go do this! read more

I've never reviewed on Yelp before, but I decided to for the laser tag because it was just that much fun, and totally unlike any other laser tag I've ever played. It was an absolute blast. For people who have played airsoft, it's like that, but people can't lie about getting hit and it doesn't hurt (and you can also light people up from a couple feet away without feeling bad). Guns had a realistic weight/feel, the arena felt very deliberately set up, and the technology used to track your performance is impressive and helpful. 10/10 would absolutely go back. read more

My team likes to use the sub-machine guns instead of the carbines, but there were not enough to accommodate. However, the staff came up with a creative work around and we enjoyed our session. Went to the grand opening watched the tank drivers crush cars and drift the tanks (which was awesome seeing that with such a huge machine) did one of the free 10 minute sessions for laser tag and I definitely will get a group of guys together to do that one of these days. I love laser tag but hate the guns connected by wires and light plastic, these are real guns that run out of ammo that you have to reload.
