FANTASTIC Cambodian food, at a great price. May seem "expensive" at first but the generous portions and the fresh quality more than justify the price point. It's not a fine dining spot so don't expect too much service and ambiance... but if you want a delicious tofu salad!!!, or a real good Cambodian stir fry please check it out! Today I have tried the Phnom Penh style noodle soup, and it was so good. I have tried this dish every where with a hope to get the same taste and style as my hometown 's dish and finally I found it. Now I can just go to here and get the noodles. The bbq pork fried rice is very good. They serve fresh donuts, too. They were yummy. I will try more in the menu later! read more

the donuts i had a while ago. since i have no qualms about donuts. they seem to like the same to me. never tasted gourmet donuts so i wouldn't know nor have any comparison. pour: superior coffee (l.2) -kind of bland coffee you used to get at breakfast places or at chinese eateries that serve coffee and breakfast. -bit of harshness. would rate 2ish for the coffee. crumbs: -i would grudingly take the donuts anytime over the coffee. read more

This might get confusing, so sit yer' piehole down and listen up. There's this place on Guerneville Road called Tan's Donuts. It's on your left as you head west on Guerneville just west of Fulton. Strip mall kinda' joint, but it ain't bad, clean-like, if ya' know what I mean. According to the purdy lady behind the counter, there's somethin' like four Tans in town. And they's ain't related, so get that notion outa' yer' head. What I'm tellin' ya' is that the doughnut ya' get at Tan's ain't guaranteed to be the doughnut you get at Tan's, er..., somewheres else. So how's 'dem doughnuts at Tan's? How could yous' asks me a question like dat'? We're taking fried bread coated in sugar here, not some namby-pamby puff piece. Me poisnally, well, I always order de same ting when I try 'dem new joints. I tells 'em I want one plain cake and a dozen doughnut holes, oh, and a cup of joe. But, I had to stop. The coffee cups they use is that there sty-reo-foam, and I just can't do's dat to my Mudder Nature. So I pass on the joe and get me a small, cold 1% moo-juice to-go. Alright already, I hear ya' whining. "Panochey, HOW WAS 'DA DOUGHNUTS?!?" Dey was..., okay! Dey was pretty good. The plain cake was dead on. The doughnuts here are great, I get doughnuts for my coworkers from here and everyone loves them...maybe because they're delicious or maybe because they're free ;-P I tried their shaved ice cream for the first the time w/ mango & strawberries...friggin delicious!!! The fruits were fresh & the ice cream was so flavorful. Very refreshing on a hot day. I got their Taro Boba Milk Tea too, again...delicious! I'm sorry, not sure if this covid pandemic is the issue but I really wanted to try out this place because they serve Cambodian food which got me super excited to go. They didn't have 1/2 of the menu items, all the stuff I wanted they didn't have. Like the Lemongrass shish kebabs, papaya salad, I went for the food not the donuts, I got an order of shrimp spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai and lemongrass chicken vermicelli dish. Shrimp spring rolls had lots of vermicelli noodles plain lettuce a pinch of cilantro few pieces of bean sprouts & 4 sliced shrimps. So bland & they didn't have any basil or mint. Pad Thai was huge but only because of the extra noodles I got. I had 6 shrimps which was a bit over cooked noodles was bland again and way too much of it which killed the dish. The lemongrass bbq chicken was super dried & overcooked vermicelli noodles was mushy. I'm sorry to give this a bad review but I had to because I like to read others reviews & their experience. I will have to give them another try when they expand their menu. But the couple that was there were really nice. read more

I love this donut shop! Though they have recently started serving lunch I have yet to be able to try it. I do go once or twice a month to grab donuts for my co-workers and they have an amazing selection. The woman always remembers who I am and starts grabbing me the large box with assorted donuts for my team. The only thing I wish they had more of are french crullers. MMMMMmmm. Their cake donuts are great and are never too hard. Their butter nuts remind me of fresh dunkin donuts I used to make when I worked there as a young kid. Everyone at my work is excited to see that pink box and there are never any donuts left in the box come lunch time. If by some reason there are... I have been knows to bing one or four donuts at a time. I really love this shop and the owners are so nice and I hope they succeed in their Pho and lunch venture. Tan's is delightful! Their doughnuts are fresh and fluffy. They don't skimp on glazes, toppings, or fillings. Their apple fritters are legendary. My favorite is a chocolate cake with chocolate glaze and chocolate sprinkles--simple but delicious. Then there are the old fashioned's, buttermilk bars, raised crumb...oh! I could go on and on. Who doesn't love doughnuts?! Doughnuts are life. Occasionally they'll come up with a specialty strawberry or blueberry fritter or a pineapple filled raised square with powdered sugar. They make enough doughnut holes that you can usually get them if you want. I do wish they'd make a french cruller but that's a very small personal gripe. They're such nice people and occasionally throw in an extra item or two. I've never tried their food but if they take the same care with that as with their treats it's sure to be delicious and carefully made. Very happy Tan's is in my neighborhood. read more

Our office staff has been ordering sandwiches here for a few months and today I ordered beef sticks, all were delicious. As per the donuts, I have only tried a glazed donut and they are so light, airy and fresh that it's a wonder that they just don't float out of the case by themselves. On a previous visit, the donuts were just okay but my most recent visit they were pretty awful. I stopped in around noon and got a few things but they tasted old and the fritter was hard like a brick and tasted burnt. It wasn't any cheaper than other stores so I won't be back. read more
