Tanzy's is the perfect spot for a quick breakfast or brunch before walking around Warren Street. It was recommended to us by our Airbnb host. It has a very homey, cozy, old-school feel and the staff is so kind. We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday morning, so it was understandably busy. The two waitresses working at the restaurant seated us within 5 minutes of arriving, and quickly brought us hot coffee and water. We ordered the croissant French toast (with scrambled eggs and bacon) and fried eggs, toast, and breakfast sausage. The waitresses were super attentive in refilling our coffee and making sure we had everything we need. The food came out quickly and was all served hot. The croissant French toast in particular was so tasty, and it as truly a croissant made into French toast! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Be sure to make this a part of your trip to Hudson! Note that this is a cash-only business.

A small breakfast specialty location with a very homey feeling on the inside with old fashioned wall paper and tchotchkes decorating the interior. It's a smaller space so the inside is a little bit crowded. The restaurant is cash-only so be sure to have cash if you'd like to go. The service was friendly and we were served our food quickly. The portions were filling and so delicious. It's also located on a nice Main Street so it's a nice place to eat and then explore the town. I had the eggs over-easy and they were cooked to perfection. The bacon was the perfect amount of crispness as well which hit the spot for sure! I would recommend Tanzy's to others and would be a repeat customer if I were back in the area.

Tanzy's is the right place to go every time. My partner and I have always enjoyed coming here. Their bacon egg and cheese breakfast is amazing. Not only that, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The owners are wonderful. They take great care of their staff and customers. We will always come back to tanzy's for breakfast as they are extremely affordable. If you are in the area, you won't regret trying out this beauty.

Yes!! Go!! Two sensational sisters, Sandie and Tisha, make everyday food exceptional and extraordinary. If you're reading this review and looking for something delightfully delicious, then start meandering down to this enjoyable brunch spot.  Tanzy's sets a standard in Hudson. It's homemade food made with love. Tanzy's is our favorite Saturday and Sunday breakfast spot whenever we visit from NYC. We recommend their Tanzy Breakfast Plate with homemade French Toast and any weekend special. Yes!! Go!!

Adorable vintage place for 15-20 people to eat. Lots of adorable decor and "Tanzy's Breakfast" was fulfilling with bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes and pancake. They are open 8am-12pm and it seems family owned. Enjoy mom and pop shops with friendly service. The hot cocoa is excellent and homemade

It's nice to see there is indoor seating available with adequate social distancing space but we ordered our breakfast to go. The pancake (singular) in the breakfast platter was hugeeee! Took up a whole takeout tray by itself! I don't know what a pork roll is but it was delicious, I might consider it better than bacon The portions were great and the value worth it. Waitress/cashier was super friendly

good food, good service, reasonable price, great atmosphere.. I may not salivate thinking about it, but I'll come back. I had an omelette, good size with two slices of really good multi grain bread.

Walk in and you're transported back to grandmas house as a kid. The welcoming staff is warm and lets you choose your table (major points for me). Everything is homey and fills your heart with joy. The chef is actually grandma. She makes her own stuffing. Everything is homemade. The table cloths are a favorite of my girlfriend. The trinkets and shirts for sale are also a nice touch, as we are just visiting town and would love something memorable to bring home! Only giving 3 stars because the food could have been better.0

Talbott & Arding was chosen as our first stop on our girls' getaway journey. Tucked in the Hudson Valley, just an hour from the Berkshires, it was a sweetly energetic beginning to our day. We each chose a sandwich from the counter. My smoked salmon on focaccia was a delight. The bread, airy and light, beautifully happy yeast just bounding with lift, defying the constraints of olive oil which left my fingers gloriously glistening. I haven't had a focaccia as happy as that in a minute. Super thin radish, bright pickled shallot and fresh watercress all gave a nice vibrant touch. Ben's cream cheese couldn't possibly be creamier. And the delicate, silky, fresh, luxurious salmon... What a dream. So balanced. I filled my arms with goods- iberico salami, Aleppo chili oil, Blackstrap coffee beans, local chocolates, and an adorable Talbott & Arding puzzle. I'm sure I could have easily convinced myself to buy just about everything I laid my eyes upon. The cheese counter was an absolute work of art. It's clear that Talbott & Arding is a willing servant to the gifts of the surrounding earth and people. The homage it pays is palpable. I tried three items: the blueberry corn cookie, maple cruller, and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. All were fantastic. The corn cookie was a novelty. It was crumbly and slightly gritty, as corn pastries tend to be. It wasn't too sweet. Although I'm glad I tried it, the cookie pales in comparison to the cruller, which was deliciously sweet, with crisp edges and a soft, custardy interior. The sandwich was great, as well. The eggs were fluffy, the bun soft, the bacon thick and crisp. It was good! If you're visiting Hudson, make this your first stop!

Juicy deliciously spiced chicken is here!!…read more Very focused menu here and I love that.. means what they offer is what they do really well. Rotisserie chicken is their thing. You can get the whole chicken, half or quarter. For me, quarter was more than enough. If you get a quarter chicken, you get two sides. If you get half a chicken, then you get three sides. I feel like it should be the opposite to offset the amount of food. But honestly it was perfect, still a big portion. For sides, they offer crispy fingerling potatoes, cole slaw, market salad and butter rice. Their Cole slaw is amazing with that poppyseed dressing. And salad had a variety of greens and crunchy toppings with a light dressing. Also! The plate comes with two sauces - spicy chili oil (mild) and yogurt dip. It was all SO FREAKING GOOD. I'm a dipper so bring on the sauce! The drink offering is also abundant. Lots of craft sodas, botanical drinks, coffees and a full bar in the back. Ghia hit the spot for me. It's not cheap but for this quality of food it's more than worth it. For the vibe..it's a confused vibe. You order at the counter and sit down with a number to wait for your food. The decor is eclectic which I thought was fun. But the music.. it went from country to weird edm dance music. I think Kittys can gain a lot from a curated playlist. Sitting there I felt curious and excited to be immersed more but it wasn't giving.

The perfect spring dish. Next was a Tuna crudo with ramp oil, watermelon radishes, fresh microgreens and toasted hazelnuts. Finally, their take on a Frisée aux Lardons, served with pickled figs. The lardons themselves were nicely crisped, and very satisfying. We had Negronis for cocktails, and a generous carafe of rose, served off the tap. All around one of the best meals I've had. Incredibly bummed, especially seeing all the positive press around the quality and the sourcing…read morethey claim to approach business with, that quite a lot of the food being served was from SYSCO or another large similar restaurant supply vendor, ordered by the case and baked from frozen. Now first off, don't get me wrong, buying in bulk or sacrificing the quality of some ingredients to large suppliers like this is definitely a reality when running a restaurant. Even moreso in this day and age when ingredient prices are exorbitant. That said, it needs to be reflected in the price point. Pastries are arranged beautifully under cloches in the display case, but I could spot the premade, ready-to-bake spinach feta bistro (https://www.chefswarehouse.com/products/QZ119984/) or ham and cheese croissant (https://www.chefswarehouse.com/products/99971/) from a mile away. The avocado spread on the preassembled breakfast sandwiches is definitely the pulp from the 3lb bag from Chef's Warehouse too. I know that taste! All of that said, they had a few items in the case that I'm sure weren't from one of these big vendors. Which was great to see. My (yes, unsolicited!) advice would be to pare down the menu. Offer just a bit less so you can focus on the quality. Try and tap into some local producers if you can! That's one of the best things about the Hudson Valley... how much all the purveyors and markets and cafes support each other. It's clear too how much they care about the community. They're dog friendly inside. No WiFi to encourage people to chat with one another. Fine. I really want to see this place continue to thrive, it's just a bit of a bummer that a significant part of the menu including things that really should be fresh, aren't.
