Great coffee place in the area! They're open super early at 7am, which is a life saver for grabbing high quality coffee before we left Hudson. The quality is always consistent and the place is super cozy with fresh flowers. The breakfast pastries looked so good and fresh. They were beautifully displayed and a huge temptation.

4.25 Really cute place for some breakfast. Chic vibe with really nice staff. We got the Belgian Sugar Waffle, Organic Egg Sandwich on Pullman, a caramel black coffee, and a double shot cappuccino. The waffle was really tasty--well-cooked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with nice bits of sugar. The berry compote and whipped cream added a pleasant sweetness. The sandwich was also good. It was basically a grilled cheese with egg and ham. Nice toast on the outside with a buttery taste and gooey cheese. Although everything was good, the portions are small, and it's a bit pricey.

A cozy feel at home cafe, I mean the booths to the sit down bar felt like you were at home enjoying a coffee or tea. The Arnold Palmer was pretty good, although it could sweeter and had more lemonade mixed, since it was a 90% tea- 10% lemonade, the apple streusel was perfect, fresh apples and really sweet, not too cinnamon heavy. Prices were pretty fair here

Following a breathtaking and informative tour of Olana State Historic Site--built by and home to legendary 19th century landscape artist Frederic Church--we made the short drive into Hudson for lunch at Hudson Roastery (4 Park Place). Reminiscent of a classic European-style coffee house, Hudson Roastery serves breakfast and lunch from 7 am until 3 pm weekdays, until 5 pm on weekends. My one sentence review: "A delightful place to relax with a coffee and freshly baked treat featuring a creative menu of breakfast and lunch dishes, all locally sourced, at reasonable prices with a charming staff." Everyone else is invited to continue reading. Located just off the east end of busy Warren St. in downtown Hudson, we selected Hudson Roastery for lunch based on the attractiveness of their menu. We ordered two freshly-made iced black teas to start. My wife ordered the Moroccan Chickpea Salad--with arugula, dried currants, almonds, and pepitas with a classic preserved lemon dressing. I ordered the Organic Egg Salad with Pullman toast points, dressed with Lemon Gribiche and just a touch of smoked Paprika. You order, pay, and your drinks and food are brought out by a staff member when ready. Our drinks came rather quickly and you could really tell that these black teas were freshly brewed, delicious. The lunches arrived shortly thereafter and were excellent, fresh and full of flavor. After I finished savoring my egg salad I went back up and ordered a piece of just baked apple strudel--after-all, it is apple season--with a dollop of whipped cream (thinking of my wife here who ever have strudel without some cream on the side). We shared, it was rich and apple-licious, though I did think the outer crust was not quite as crispy as I might have preferred, but that's a nitpick. We talked about what we had seen at Olana while finishing our teas and then departed. We would definitely return to enjoy a mid-morning coffee--as they do roast their own coffee beans and even offer hour-long "roasting experiences" by appointment. A fun, charming, and delicious venue.

This place gets super busy but I love how organized they are with keeping the line moving. Great coffee and breakfast sandwich. Loved sitting in the outside area in a beautiful fall day. I had the pistachio latte and it was delicious! Highly recommended

    Caesar Salad, Lobster Roll

I went to Hudson back in the summertime with my boyfriend, but this was one of the best meals I ate there. The caesar salad dressing was to perfection and the lobster roll was so packed and fresh. I love the open space of the cafe and I can feel the difference of friendliness of the locals and employees versus in the city. If I ever go back to Hudson, this will be the first place on the list.

Great place to start your downtown Hudson venture. On the east most end of where the Main Street starts to pop off (continues west towards water). Plenty of parking by the public square/park right across the street. Cute and clean vintage vibe with a great selection. The mango iced tea hit real nice on a hot summers day.

Spinach feta croissant with coffee in a cute seating booth.

They were one of the only businesses open at 7am and had some very nice pastries and brunch options too. I had a spinach and feta croissant and my husband had a beautiful looking and tasty egg sandwich. Plenty of room for seating in the early hours and it was busy but not noisy. We enjoyed the location right off the park too.

Good coffee, nice little cafe and they are dog friendly. The kiddos loved their hot chocolates and croissants.

Everything, from the stunning architectural space and thoughtful, exquisite interior design, to the tableware, food and presentation, put this among the best restaurants in the Hudson Valley. The service was friendly, and we enjoyed meeting the family behind the restaurant--warm and engaging. This is one of the most elegant spaces I've seen in my 25 years of being a weekender and now resident of the area. The food, however, really put Banque on my favorites list. There was a wonderful, seasonal selection of dishes: something for everyone at my table (pescatarians, vegetarians, carnivores and omnivores). And I really appreciated the effort that went into plating and presentation. It was very well done. And the food was as delicious as it was beautiful. Flavors and textures married well. My only complaint is thst I am not able to eat more. The pastries and chocolates will have to be explored another time, but there will definitely be many more visits if this time was an indication of what can be expected

I tried three items: the blueberry corn cookie, maple cruller, and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. All were fantastic. The corn cookie was a novelty. It was crumbly and slightly gritty, as corn pastries tend to be. It wasn't too sweet. Although I'm glad I tried it, the cookie pales in comparison to the cruller, which was deliciously sweet, with crisp edges and a soft, custardy interior. The sandwich was great, as well. The eggs were fluffy, the bun soft, the bacon thick and crisp. It was good! If you're visiting Hudson, make this your first stop!

Juicy deliciously spiced chicken is here!!…read more Very focused menu here and I love that.. means what they offer is what they do really well. Rotisserie chicken is their thing. You can get the whole chicken, half or quarter. For me, quarter was more than enough. If you get a quarter chicken, you get two sides. If you get half a chicken, then you get three sides. I feel like it should be the opposite to offset the amount of food. But honestly it was perfect, still a big portion. For sides, they offer crispy fingerling potatoes, cole slaw, market salad and butter rice. Their Cole slaw is amazing with that poppyseed dressing. And salad had a variety of greens and crunchy toppings with a light dressing. Also! The plate comes with two sauces - spicy chili oil (mild) and yogurt dip. It was all SO FREAKING GOOD. I'm a dipper so bring on the sauce! The drink offering is also abundant. Lots of craft sodas, botanical drinks, coffees and a full bar in the back. Ghia hit the spot for me. It's not cheap but for this quality of food it's more than worth it. For the vibe..it's a confused vibe. You order at the counter and sit down with a number to wait for your food. The decor is eclectic which I thought was fun. But the music.. it went from country to weird edm dance music. I think Kittys can gain a lot from a curated playlist. Sitting there I felt curious and excited to be immersed more but it wasn't giving.
