If you're familiar with Tap 42 then this location should bring no surprises. This was my first time at this location and I had a pleasant experience. Decided to come after work for a quick dinner date on a Thursday and was surprised to see how busy it was at the bar. Not sure if it's always like this or if it's just because there was a game on. Definitely a fun ambiance for watching any games. I got one of my favorites from here - french dip impossible sandwich. Any non-meaters who like the occasional hearty sandwich should try this. It's always comforting, flavorful and filling. I did upgrade for the truffle fries which consistently disappoint me at every location, but I do it to myself at this point. They smell so great, they always come out hot and fresh, but the actual truffle taste is lacking and they sometimes leave more of a weird aftertaste. So this location is nice, we didn't sit outside near the water feature because it was a cool breeezy evening, but I like the location. The restaurant was very cold inside, luckily I wore a sweater, but Joel had to run to the car for a lightweight jacket. Our server was really nice, attentive & she was the best thing about this restaurant because the food was average, nothing special, typical chain restaurant food. The chicken fingers were tender but extremely over breaded, which made them fussy to eat (I pulled off over half the breading, and much of it fell off on its own). The fries were obviously frozen. They were on the thin side, so they were dry & got cold really fast, and the Asian slaw was extremely salty & overly sauced. (Why does Asian slaw have mayonnaise on it? Why?) Went here with my nephew on a Thursday night for dinner. First observations - this is not a place you go to have a conversation. The music inside the restaurant is LOUD. It's a big open space. It was so loud, in fact, I pulled up an app on my phone to measure the decibels - lowest reading during our meal was 92. I feel bad for the wait staff - they should be wearing hearing protection. Our server was great, kept checking on us, kept drinks refilled, and brought food out promptly. I tried their ribs, and added the chicken tenders to it. For my side, I went with their roasted Brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts tasted great, good flavor. I just wish they had been a touch crispier. The chicken tenders were good, and the ribs were great! Honestly, the only thing stoping me from giving this a 4 star was the music volume. Just too loud. My husband and I have been long-time fans of Tap 42, having visited the Aventura, Midtown, Doral, and Coral Gables locations over the years. We've always found the vibe to be fun and the food solid--especially the Prohibition Burger, which is consistently excellent no matter which location you choose. But my recent visit to Tap 42 Kendall truly stood out in the best way. What made this visit special? Aside from the great service and reliably tasty bites, the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience for not just me but our dig too. One of the team members surprised me by bringing out a custom-made "pup cup"-style dessert just for our service dog, Kingsley. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that really made my day. It's those little moments that show genuine hospitality and care, and it meant so much to us as dog lovers. Our pup was thrilled--and honestly, so was I. The Kendall location delivered the same quality food and drinks we've come to expect from Tap 42, but the extra personal touch made it our favorite visit yet. I go to tap42 all the time. The food is always great and tasty! I usually eat the short rib sliders with truffle fries or sweet potato. The truffle guacamole is good also. The service is great although I always try to get Mike as my waiter because he's so attentive and great. To drink I almost always have an espresso martini with Bailey's and whoever is at the bar makes them really good. I will definitely come especially since it's close to home. The music was great with good song choices but this is a restaurant not a nightclub. It's a shame that the atmosphere overshadowed the food for us. Food got mixed reviews. The waffles were soggy. The calamari tower was good. The service by Valentina was good but we had to ask her to speak up so we could hear her. Not sure if there was a manager on duty because I didn't see one. Good afternoon everyone! Well I finally made it over to Tap 42 in Town and Country last night and I have to say we had a great time. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff were super friendly and helpful as well. Was a pretty big party but everyone took it in stride. The menu at Tap 42 is not extensive but it is very good. All the usuals you would expect at a sports bar type establishment and as you can imagine the bar is fully stocked and the mixologists are in full force as well. As advertised they have 42 plus beers on hand (many on tap) to satisfy even the most difficult beer drinkers. To start we had the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Shrimp Cocktail and Spinach dip for the table and l were excellent. For main courses we floated around the Mahi Mahi, Salmon and burger dishes as well. All were excellent as expected. Saturday nights they have a DJ which was really letting loose as many customers were getting their groove or in the famous workday of Major Payne "cutting a rug" near their tables. We were obviously not the exception here either! . So overall, I really liked Tap 42 and will be going back soon possibly to watch some sports in a cool laid back well decorated setting. If you haven't tried them yet, I see no reason why you shouldn't. I don't think you will be disappointed. With an awesome full bar, lots of wine choices and a great kitchen serving pretty good dishes. It's a great combo. Came here for happy hour and bartenders were super friendly and ready to help. Had an original dirty Martini and it was perfect. Ordered the Jumbo shrimp and it was fresh and the sauce was light and flavourful. Nice little appetizer. I came to meet up with a group of friends for some bites and drinks. I'm having a dry year so it was water for me but everyone loved there drinks. On the table was the mahi mahi (thick and flavorful), tostones (crispy with the right amount of salt), fries (fries are always life) and the chicken lettuce wraps. No complaints. Service is a little slow but being that they just opened I'm sure it'll take time to catch the flow, server was real nice though. I haven't been for Sunday brunch but I heard it's popping complete with a DJ and conga line and bottomless drinks. Went on super bowl Sunday and service was pretty quick. We did ask for outside seating and told it was packed but place was pretty empty... They do have good selection of drinks and food got out pretty quick. One order came wrong (got the chicken tender salad) but they were very quick in bringing out the correct plate out (chicken tender melt). We also wanted to try the caramel espresso martini but they were out of caramel, so but of bummer there. Didn't love it, didn't hate it - sums up my brunch experience. Came in on a Saturday for brunch and my party of 2 (that became 6 later) was easily seated at a high top booth. Our waiter came over soon after and we ordered some bottomless drinks and food. Here's the rundown: -The bottomless brunch drinks (more specifically the mimosa and Bloody Mary) aren't great BUT for $25 if you order enough of them and a beer here and there you can get your money's worth. Tip: order a couple drinks in advance cause it takes a while for them to bring it to you and the cutoff is 3pm. -Food is kinda pricey depending on what you order, some dishes are more bang for your buck. For example, the Tres Leches French Toast was a huge portion and easily fed two small kids with plenty leftover that an adult could've shared as well. I got the steak and eggs, and while tasty, it didn't exactly fill me up. The hash browns layered at the bottom are the ones you get at McDonald's or the freezer aisle at Trader Joe's. Both my boyfriend and his brother ordered The Hangover Sandwich and they both agreed there was more bun than filling. You're better off getting The Prohibition burger and adding an egg to it. -Ambience and service I feel like go hand in hand here. There is a DJ and the music is VERY loud. As in you need to yell to talk to the person sitting next to you loud. Because of this the service comes across a bit detached. The only conversation there's room for is yelling at the waiter what you want to order then frantically trying to flag him down when you need anything else since he can't hear you calling his attention. The club vibes may be what you're looking for if you're celebrating a birthday or engagement but for a family weekend brunch it wasn't exactly the vibe we were going for. read more

Tap 42 brings new life to Kendall! We went for my grandma's birthday and there was a confusion with their reservation system so we thought we had seating for 11 but apparently not. Even then the manager on duty made sure to accommodate us which was amazing. We were sat in about 45 minutes. Johan was our server for the night and was attentive to the needs of everyone in the party. He also took a picture of us which was very nice. We had drinks and food flowing. The dishes and drinks are exactly like what you'd get in Coral Gables or Aventura. We also ordered desserts and they brought out the sundae with a candle to sing happy birthday to my grandma. It was honestly super lovely and a memory we won't soon forget. I'm so excited to have Tap 42 not 10 minutes from my home and hope to make many more memories here. read more

I asked to be recommended a whisky drink and was a very fruity one served in a non manly cup. This place was an incredible surprise for us. We had our mind to go somewhere else but for saw the patio's lights and we change our minds. At our entrance were welcomed by a ver nice worker who showed us the patio place and give us a table with really good views to the fountains in the back. Second time at Tap 42: My husband and I visited Tap 42 on a Saturday for an early dinner. We had the Crispy Calamari for appetizer. The Calamari appetizer was really good. My husband had the California Chicken Bowl. He said it was good and the portion was generous. I had the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. The chicken was not what I was expecting. I was expecting a grilled chicken but got tiny pieces of fried chicken in a sauce that was a little salty. The service was good. This time a remembered to take photos. For appetizers we had the Crispy Asian Calamari and a Basket of Sweet Potato Fries. My best friend had the Salmon Zen Bowl and I had the Chicken Avocado Salad. The salad is a large size.
