Chicken Club | EggWrap, Promo - Pao De Queijo , Tropical Bowl 16oz

SO GOOD!!!!! My friend (not gluten-free) and I (gluten-free) split the Lean Steak Club Egg Wrap and Chicken Club Egg Wrap and they were both delicious. Pao De Queijo and Tropical Bowl Smoothies were also fantastic. I've been gluten-free for six years and this is some of the best GF food I've had. The Pao are delicious little cheesy bread rolls. My non-gluten-free friend said he couldn't tell it was gf. Photo is size comparisons for egg wrap, Pao, and smoothie.

I had been curious about TAP for a while and finally decided to stop by during lunch since it's close to my office. They offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery, but I opted for takeout because the inside was cramped and packed with people waiting for their orders. It took me some time to decide what to get, especially since I wasn't sure about the portion sizes. I ended up going with the promo deal for two pão de queijo--one spicy (which had a nice kick) and one traditional. Both were solid and tasty. I also tried the chicken club panini, which is apparently their best seller, but it was underwhelming--small and lacking in flavor. Overall, while the cheesy breads were good, the experience didn't quite live up to the hype. I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't be going back.

Ate in 2022: TAP NYC sells Brazilian cheese bread aka pao de queijo along with acai bowls, and tapioca sandwiches. I got their regular and spicy pao de queijos, both were so good! Also, everything on their menu is gluten-free!

Tapioca wraps? Very interesting spot that specializes in gluten free Brazilian goodies. I went with one of the simpler items, tomato and mozzarella tapioca wrap. I feel like this item needed some hot sauce or some kind of sauce as it was lacking flavor. The girlfriend got the lean steak wrap. This came nestled in between an egg wrap but it has pesto sauce in it, I am just not a fan of pesto but again nothing wrong with this item and I do like that it is different from the typical bagel sandwiches and other breakfast foods that I often get bored of. The protein bowls and cheese bread look great and if I am ever back in the area, I would definitely give it a try. As always people SYOY!!!

Was super hungry after work and this place was recommended by a friend so swung by to try for dinner. The folks at the register were friendly and helpful. Appreciated them being patient as we took some time to decide what to get. We got two separate acai bowls and a chicken club to share. Didn't realize acai bowls originated from Brazil but makes sense cause they were good! I also really liked the chicken club which had great flavors. The location we visited is quite small with three little tables so finding a seat may be difficult on the time of day. All in all a pretty good place to try and I can see myself being back to try those famous cheese balls.

I've been on the hunt for a Brazilian cafe, and I have found it! Got pao de queijo 3 different flavors for $7! On a promotion (normally 2 for $7 but the lady gave me one for free!). I was very pleased. I went home and reheated the pao; texture was substantial and taste is cheesy. I brought my boyfriend here again after the gym one day to get the pao but he pointed out the tapioca wrap, and that was unique so we had to try it. Got the steak tapioca wrap and salmon egg wrap. Both very good. The tapioca wrap is interesting...kinda bland (bf says "styrofoam") but I think it's quite good and fun texture, reminds me of something Chinese in my childhood but can't quite put my finger on it. Perfect light lunch after gym. Will come back to try all the sandwiches and definitely get more pao! Ps I forget everything is gluten free...unbelievable.

100% gluten free! You can have a wrap or panini. We had chicken club and caprese paninis so delicious. Staff were friendly and patient as we figured out our order. Topped it off with an açaí bowl. Needed a small snack so I went to tap and ordered the cheese bread. I got the Spicy one since they were out of the original cheese bread and it was really good. The spiciness perfectly blended with the cheese and made the cheese less overpowered. I definetly want to go back to compare to the classic and try one of the summer smoothie bowls that looked good.

Solid spot for an easy and light breakfast or lunch! I've been to the Astoria location for the pao de queijo but wanted to try their sandwiches. The tapioca wrap is a must get as it has a great crunchy and chewy texture. It holds the sandwich well too so you don't have to worry about the contents falling out. I got the spicy tuna, which had a generous portion of arugula. The tuna wasn't spicy at all so no worries on that front. Also can't leave without getting some of the cheese bread, which were excellent as always. The inside seating is limited so i'd recommend having an alternative plan to take your place if you want to sit and eat.

Best Cheese Bread in manhattan. I am brazilian and this is the closest in taste. Their Frozen cheese breads are also great. The wraps- love the mozzarella & cheese the pdq filled with avocado is fantastic. My eyelash lady was on vacation and I needed to get my eyelashes filled before showing my face in the office so I made an emergency appointment in the morning and was heading back home to get back to work. I passed this place on my way home and something just smelled so delicious. It was lunch time so I decided to get lunch! Oh my goodness! The only reason it's not 5 is the prices are a little on the higher side from what I'm used to with these, but I guess it's on par with it being in midtown. we started going to tap nyc on the upper west side, and are so happy that they're now in midtown east. the monster acai bowl, and pesto brazilian cheese bread is a weekend breakfast favorite of mine. i prefer the egg wraps over the tapioca sandwiches, but whichever you decide to get, the ingredients have always tasted fresh. this location has seating for about 6 people so plan to get your order to go unless good timing is on your side that day. read more

The powerbowl acai bowl was phenomenal! I truly enjoyed the mix of peanut butter, and the granola was also delicious. You cannot always trust the granola to be good in acai bowls, but TapNYC's did not fail. I had never tried milk powder before, but I found it to be a welcome addition to the bowl. I did not try the pao de queijo, but all the other customers loved theirs, and went back for seconds. One thing I will say is that it is quite pricey for small portions. Additionally, there is not much room for seating even though every customer that came in while I was there wanted to sit and eat. People had to stand by the bar and eat there. The servers were very kind and had great recommendations for those who asked. read more

I ordered TAP the other day through Uber Eats. The delivery time was super quick and the açaí bowl itself was pretty good. One thing I had never had in an açaí bowl was milk powder and I was not a huge fan - would ask for it without in the future. I can't have gluten so this my go to spot, I must say the acai bowl prices are way overpriced. There's not enough fruit, the acai was watery and the chunks of peanut butter doesn't make it any better. I paid $20 for the medium acai bowl which is ridiculous!! And it wasn't worth it. I've had better acai bowls with a lot more fruits and I didn't have to pay extra to add toppings, and at a cheaper price!! read more

I was so surprised by the food and the service! The food is 100% gluten free and tastes delicious! It's not greasy, sugary, or heavy, making you feel energized after eating. I also happened to be sitting next to the owner who was in a meeting as I was eating. The owner cared a lot about small details that created ease for customers, along with creating exceptional service. He even got up during his meeting to throw my trash away for me! 100% gluten free amazingness! I had a chicken club made as the tapioca flour sandwich and my husband (who is not celiac and is a very picky eater) had the mini panini version. Both are good but we agreed that the tapioca flour was the best. I promise the website pictures don't do it justice, just try them! I used my FindMeGF app as we left Grand Central terminal and the closest cafe was Tap. I talked my non-celiac friends into trying it and I'm so glad I did. My daughter loved her vegan sandwich and I thought the chicken club was the best sandwich I've had in 20 years. I came across this spot because my bus stop is right infront. I was looking around to see if I liked anything and the AÇAÍ interested me, I asked if I could make my own and the girl told me she could charge me for one of the pre built ones already. I told her ok, she rang me up which looks like she also charged me extra for removing tipping which didn't make sense, I think paid 16.25 for my small açaí bowl, and noticed she was spreading the peanut butter around the cup in a extremely thin layer. I asked if she could please put the peanut butter on the top and she told me "sorry but my manager wants me to do it this way" I thought that was a little weird considering it's my açaí bowl and I just asked for the peanut butter to be placed on top like I normally always get it. Some of them are fruit-based, some are milk-based, and some have additions to help with immunity, detox, etc. Since I'm not a regular juice or smoothie drinker, I was looking for something with flavors I liked and not loaded with calories. I found that in the Cherry C Monster - this contained cherries, pineapple, dragon fruit, banana, and orange juice. The smoothie was quite good - lots of cherry flavor and surprisingly not too sweet. Service was fast and efficient - they're pounding out those smoothies at a rapid pace so my order was ready in no time. Overall, I had a good first experience at Juice Generation - I don't think it will be a go-to based on my tastes, but if the mood catches me I would definitely return.

Tap is an authentic Brazilian açaí spot that prides itself on being completely gluten free. This location in Midtown East was really small on the inside. However, the flavors were great! Eating açaí bowls in the middle of a winter storm is an interesting concept, but it was surprisingly hitting a spot I didn't know existed. In fact, the store was surprisingly busy!
