This is my favorite spot when I want some boba. Other places over do their drinks and worry too much about the looks and about putting fancy shit in their drinks @HoneyBerry . I like how simple they are with their beverages yet the taste is always just right! If you are new I personally recommend the horchata in a slush form or thai tea!! read more

The associate who helped me in the register was very nice. I bought the matcha green tea boba, it was okay, it needs to be a little bit more taste. The Nutella strawberry was good, but they should put more strawberry and whip cream. I would really recommend to add powdered sugar on the crepes. Over all, the experience was good. I checked in so I had the drink for free. I suggest for everyone to do the same :) Update: The crepes were delicious! It wasn't too sweet, and the whip cream with cinnamon on top was spot on! I thought it would be gross, but it balanced everything. The Thai iced tea was delightful! Definitely coming back! Dont come to this place 10-15 before closing because I went in there and the Asian boy and white girl on 5/19/19 said just so you know we arent making any boba and I said i dont want that i want a crepe and then they both said sorry we turned everything off so we cant make that either. I stated it's not 8pm so therefore machines that you make your stuff with should be turned off after you close not before. Terrible customer service ! I went in there around 7pm and I asked about a coupon that I got (it was closed when I went due to emergency), so I wanted to see if they could still honor it. The girl in the front said no and that they had closed due to short staff. I understood and ordered drinks for me and my fiance. The girl from the front proceeded to make our drinks, but made sure I got my drinks last (I was first, and 2 people behind us). Okay. So I came inside and it was full!! I believe it was May 20th (Monday). So, I went to go get my haircut, then after that all the people were gone. So I approached the cashier and I told her, "so I haven't been here for a cool while, but don't you guys have this caption crunch flavor?" And the cashier smiled so big and she said "oh! you mean taro?? If you want more flavor of caption crunch I recommend it with strawberry" and so I look her advice and god lord, this drink goes out to the sweet tooths like me. Thank you, Emma? Emily? Elly? (I forgot her name I know it starts with an E lol). She even made conversation with me while she made my drink. I loved her customer service. The music was summer like. Drink was amazing! I would much rather prefer if the walls had more color than just a white box. But, overall I think I'm just addicted to this place. read more

I've come to the conclusion that this place is just not good. I wanted to give it a good chance and so I came back for my Honeydew boba. How can you mess that up? Ok this is the only place in I know where to get a Strawberry Nutella Crepe. So, I come up to counter to order all four staff members start debating who was going to make my crape. 'you can make'......'she gets it'........'I made one earlier'........'I made one yesterday'.....finally one guy says.....'Today is a new day I don't think she cares you made a crape yesterday'!!!! Are you really freakin kidding me!!!!! Then another girl comes in after me she orders and no charge!!! The guy who didn't charge is bragging about it with one of the other guys!!! Tried this place on a road trip down south. We're from the bay area so we know Buba. I was willing to give this place a shot. Looked small and family run. The crepes coming out looked good. But honestly the worst Boba We've ever had. And not just the tapioca itself which were either under cooked or old since the center was hard. The Boba drinks were something I've never Experienced. it was a coagulated mixture of sweet and disgusting flavors. We honestly couldn't even drink it and threw them away. Please just take a trip to the bay area and check out some Boba tea locations in San Jose. There's plenty of room in Salinas for good quality Boba and I'm sure your business will thrive. read more

The drinks are very good. I highly recommend asking for half the sugar so your drink isn't too sweet. The staff is not that nice and they rarely answer the phone. You can call at all hours and nothing. Recommend the white chocolate boba blended with half the sugar. The place is clean and there is no public restroom. This is one of my favorite boba place cause I've tried a few places in Monterey and the one in the mall and this place makes the drink taste good compared to how the other places make it. The original milk tea seem to taste better here. Customer service used to be great when they first open and two employees knew me cause I came in often I really enjoyed going in. However, the customer service now with the new employees can be bad sometimes and you can feel that they are annoyed when someone comes in. A month ago I went in and the 4-5 employees were just sitting playing candy land and the girl who, I guess was the one assigned to do the register makes an annoyed face that I came in. The most rudest thing was she moves her lips expressing the words "S#&%!".!like really you are going to express that word when a customer walks in and you look straight at me. This make me have going there cause I always have to think if I'm going to be welcomed or just felt like I'm wasting the employees time. I work in HR and working in previous jobs that customer services is strongly stressed I take customer services seriously. and having the feeling of not being wanted or wasting employees time makes me think that the manager or supervisor needs to stress on customer service or that there needs to be a supervisor present at all times to make sure the employees are aware they are working and need to treat customers well. There are times when I go in and the person at the register is just drawing. Kinda weird cause you are at work and you don't see other jobs with people at the register doing homework or what ever. They need a supervisor or shift leader to watch over them. read more

This is the only boba place in Salinas, and so far the standards are really good. The drinks are well blended, slushie or milk tea, and boba is tender:) just watch though cuz sometimes they run out of pearls at the end of the day. the service is amazing, the workers are really nice, and the owner is usually there. and all of them always seem happy and are nice. you always get greeted with a smile, and they don't mind if you're a bit loud. the space is pretty big, they have magazines and a few board games, a good chill-out place on a hot day:) my favorite drinks so far are mocha slushie, and avocado slushie. i've yet to try all the flavors. read more

Jake and I love this place! For lunch from work we pick up a slushy boba drink. We like to change flavors everytime bc they have so many and add extra boba. Recently we tried the guava slushy and that was yummy! We haven't really tried the other drinks, but I have sipped my friends milk tea and that was good too. She added rainbow jelly to her drink which was fun. The service Is usually great, but there was one time one of the girls gave me some serious attitude when she made me the wrong drink. I go here for the boba tea taro slushy and sometime the milk tea version. Also if I'm not getting that I usually go for the nutella banana crepe. Its so good and it's basically the only spot to get crepe around here in Salinas. You can get bolba at Noodle House but this place has a better selection and more flavors. Also they have like lil games while you wait such as chess, cards, connect four and others. They also have gelato which I dont really buy but it's there. This review is only on the milk boba tea: If you have tried authentic quality boba, you might not love this places boba tea. Milk Drinks are powdered (which I don't mind too much) but the tapioca boba is hard and rubbery. I will probably come here for the tea without boba. The hard rubbery texture just really ruined it for me. Overall it's a decent place for people who don't care much for authentic good quality boba. read more

I really enjoy the drinks from Tapioca Delight. Their honeydew boba milk tea is my favorite. However, there was one time where the drink did not have enough milk. Another time the drunk had too little boba. Also, some staff is rude and acts as though they don't want to be there and hate everyone. This is the best boba cafe in Salinas. The store has a couple of seats and tables for customers to play games, and just have a good time hanging out. The workers are always friendly. It gets an extra star for being in the area. Only decent boba place around. At first I thought is was a Tapioca Express (a Southern Ca chain). Tried a green milk tea w/ boba, taro tea w/ boba and a passionfruit w/ fruit jelly, all three was on par. Though I could have impaired judgement based on the many bad boba's in the area. They use real milk, vs. non-dairy creamer. The taro was a little sweet (too much powder?), but the perals were just right. Chewy with a crispy center. They had a decent selection of fruit and milk teas, as well as boba/jelly add-ins. Better than most make at home kits. read more

My date spot for some Tapioca. It's the only place in Salinas to get your fix of tapioca or bolba... So you really can't hate this place since it's the only place of it's kind. I am always slightly disappointed when I visit this boba place because I am excited to visit the one place I know of with boba tea but then the drinks never live up to my expectations. My aunt told me this is the only boba tea place in Salinas so that explained the constant line and crowd. The owners should look into either hiring more workers or streamlining their process. Since we beat the rush we didn't wait long for our drinks but I would advise against ordering a crepe. It should take 45 seconds at the fastest and 5 minutes at the slowest to make a crepe, depending on how hot the griddle is and how thick the batter is - but it took almost 20 minutes here. Say whhhhat? I think the workers forgot about the crepe until we were almost done with our drinks and the crepe was cold when we got it. After we got our drinks the cashier kept saying "thank you for waiting" to everyone behind us so I'm thinking all the orders got pushed back. The cashier was friendly and there are some toys for kids to play with while there. Otherwise I thought the place was sparse and plainly decorated. If the place were decorated better but especially if the service was more efficient it would be worth 4 stars, and not just because it's the only boba tea shop in the area. read more
