First time here & I love it! First, the restaurant is so clean. The salsa station was squeaky clean. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. You can watch your food being prepared on the grill if you choose to as well. They have tortillas that are handmade to order. Very simple menu options. read more

I have visited them a few times since they opened, though not in the last couple of months. It's a family business and the service is good. I like seeing places like this succeed. They have $2 tacos that feature a fresh made tortilla, and 99 cent tacos that are smaller and come on a small corn tortilla that isn't hand made. I recommend going for the $2 ones honestly. Those are the ones worth going out of the way for. I don't know what to say about the burritos. The last time I was there I ordered dinner to go for the family. My daughter got a bean and cheese burrito, which costs $4. Now for that price I expect a pretty fat burrito, and most places that is what I get. But when I got home there was barely anything inside. It was a limp noodle. When my daughter saw it she immediately got a sad face, because there was no way it was going to be enough food for her, and one burrito in that price range normally is for her. In fact I had a Taco Bell regular bean burrito in the fridge. We did a comparison on they were nearly identical! I was put off that I paid so much for that. I haven't been by since, but when I do I would be hesitant to get any burritos because I don't know if that's their normal portion or if someone was just careless. Maybe I will check for more feedback on that as reviews roll in. Other than that I had been happy with everything else. read more

It's not the prettiest spot and it's in a location has been several restaurants prior but the quality of food and the genuineness of the this type of regional Mexican food is spot on. Not your Taco Bell or the American Mexican place spot and that's why you'll be back if your are cool ;0) read more

This is BY FAR the best taco shop in the area! If you haven't tried their pastor, you are truly missing out. Their service is also exceptional so that's a bonus but let's be real, the food is what comes first! So I have tried pretty much everything on their menu. Yup I'm here again and I'm taking the carn asada plate combination the beans were very delicious and so were the rice their salsa is amazing and so was this salad with avocado and tomato also a friend had 3 tacos de carnitas she love it to I had their fresh homemade horchata very yummy and my kids had a cheese quesadilla and they were happy too now let's talk about the service I had the customer service was very good as soon as I walked in there ready to help me people are very friendly and to my surprise the restaurant is always super clean all the tables the salsa bar everything even their windows I've been to other restaurants in town and they're kind of dirty but this place is super clean I'll be back soon again read more

We have enjoyed the tacos and the fresh waters. The taquitos (smaller tacos)were $1.29 and the tacos were $2.49. The taco plate was $7.99, which included tacos, rice, beans, and a drink. We unfortunately did not like the burritos and believed they were too dry. They had a lot of rice in them. For 3 burritos ( 2 chicken and 1 carne asada) we paid $29 and some change, not worth it. The service is okay. We have not ate in and do take out only. We will plan to continue coming here but not for burritos. read more

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at they are super nice and professional and the food is amazing I've been to many in hemet and they don't do me right. HEMET is not at a loss for good food especially not Mexican food. This place wins! On our meat cheat days, this will be the place we drive to for authentic street tacos without the drive to Tijuana. Tortillas are made fresh, the menu offers items like cabesa, tripa and lengua, although our favs are adobada, carne asada and carnitas. We ate here when it was a different taco joint, that place was good too. I like the look and feel of the new place, it's a lot cleaner and the menu is better. I ordered the special tacos, I like the handmade tortillas, gives you a little more meat and the price is higher, but I think the quality makes up for it. Highly recommended. read more
