Relocated to a spot opposite the Napili shops/Napili farmers market since the fire in Lahaina. They are up on the rise, easy to spot from the traffic lights. They are still serving amazing tacos from their taco cart, with the same friendly service. Choose your own or go for one of their recommended. I chose potato, egg and pepper/onion mix with chipotle sauce. It was served piping hot and was a decent size for a single taco for $5.50. Delicious! Hubbs ate the same but with sausage. You can get coffee here too. If you are in the Napili area make sure you stop for a taco from this great little breakfast spot. They were impacted by the fire and we want to support them as much as possible so they stay in our community :)

Fantastic tacos right near Lahaina and Napili Bay. Owner is from Austin, Texas (iykyk) and absolutely nails it. Ate too fast to get a picture of the amazing Migas taco but I ate here 3 times in a week because it's so good. Tacos are huge and the jalapeño salsa is wonderfully flavorful. Owner can be a bit feisty in the afternoon hours but it's just the passion for the tacos showing through and they are well worth it!

Some of my favorite breakfast tacos I have ever had. Made fresh per order, with fresh homemade salsa that will blow you away. The three alarm and migos tacos are both incredible- so flavorful and the perfect way to start your day. Because they're made fresh, the wait can take some time- I recommend texting (yes texting) your order ahead of time to the owner/chef so you aren't waiting there too long. I go almost every morning when in Maui, it's that good. It operates out of a truck conveniently located off the road in a pull out area with a delicious açaí truck as well. Small picnic tables around if you want to eat there, and lots of chickens. Cannot recommend enough.

Wow the shrimp tacos were amazing. Juicy shrimp, perfectly seasoned and grilled. All the tacos have very fresh avocado, salsa, herbs, veggies and spices. I loved their medium hot sauce as well. My partner got the pork tacos and we agreed these were just so-so. A few picnic tables w umbrella for shade. Near the farmers market which is open Wednesdays and Saturdays I believe

Best tacos on Maui. Awesome location and massive tacos. Ask for the jalapeño hot sauce. Would drink the stuff if I could. Owner was super nice and even made dillas for the kids. Protip, buy some tortilla chips and use them as a shovel for what falls off these things, you'll need it.

SO YUMMY. Loved the migas taco, that was our favorite. Next was probably the shrimp taco and last (but not least) was the grilled fish taco. The guy there was SO sweet and nice. I really liked the "hot" green sauce. We drenched everything with it. Everything felt super fresh and I loved that! Some tables outside but it's not shaded just a heads up.

Really love this place. Her name is Jenny. Very sweet lady. Think she's from Texas. She makes her own salsas from scratch. I love the bacon egg and cheese tacos. Only 3$ each. Also the fish and shrimp tacos are really good. She makes her own Texas pork tacos. Very good pico. And she's nice. Makes everything herself by herself in a little food truck. The parking lot is by the catholic church and has an epic view of the mountains from the graveyard. Very Hawaiian vibes, yet a taste of the mainland right here in Lahaina. It's been my new favorite spot lately. And yes she's alone so if she's got a line you have to wait but I don't think she could fit another person in there lol very cute truck. read more

These tacos are AMAZING! We did the "build your own" option and had the potato-egg-cheese-Rojas combo and WOW. Huge portions with such a great flavor combination. I'd definitely recommend this place for a filling breakfast! read more

I was in the mood for breakfast tacos and after a quick search on yelp opted for this spot. It was really close to where I was staying which was an added bonus. The owner was super friendly and saw that I was struggling to decide on what I wanted to order she really talked up the specialty tacos so I went with her suggestion and ordered the migas taco. I was apprehensive at first but was very pleased with my decision once I dug in. The egg was cooked perfectly, she was able to grill the cheese where it was crispy, my favorite!!!! The handmade salsas were an added bonus that helped to enhance the flavors. I will definitely be back! read more

YUM! I decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews. On our first visit we tried the fish tacos for lunch after walking Front St. It was surprisingly convenient. They were everything they were hyped to be! The toppings were incredibly fresh and the combination of sauces were perfect. I added a little of the creamy green because I like extra heat and that was one of the tastiest bites I had on Maui! The fish tacos made us so happy we were back the next morning for breakfast. I had the 3 alarm with avocado and a bean and cheese breakfast taco. The mix flavors and textures of the 3 alarm were delightful. I added the spice again of the creamy green sauce and together with the cool, yumminess of the avocado my breakfast was as good as the lunch we had there the day before. I also have to give a shout out to my bean and cheese taco. Purists will not be disappointed. The beans were so good I ate this once sauceless and loved every bite :) The owner is incredibly nice. Take her advice when choosing your salsas because she offers a good variety and knows what mixes well for each taco. read more

I went here twice on my trip. Got lunch here... Chicken tacos and also got both breakfast tacos. The three alarm taco for breakfast was very good, BUT the migas taco was even better. I tried all their sauces and they were all delicious. The chicken fajita tacos were to die for. The service was impeccable and I shall return when I come back to Maui. read more

My wife and I are really into Mexican food. Being from Texas we also are really opinionated. We were in Lahaina looking for breakfast and stumbled upon TaquerEATa and wow were we glad we did. We are hanging in west Maui for 10 days and we have already been twice and expect to go again. The tacos are reasonably priced (especially for Maui) but even more importantly it's REALLY good. The dude who runs/owns it is from Austin, Texas, in my opinion the most reliable place to find tacos, and he lived up to where he is from. If you're looking for a great breakfast taco, or fish taco (I had today) come here without hesitation. You'll be glad you did. read more

Kind of out of the way, this taco trailer was a real find. Most Maui food is decent but overpriced. This place had great food that was fairly priced for the mainland and a great deal here in Maui. It's pretty much just tacos and they've got several varieties. We had the (grilled) fish, shrimp and pork tacos. They were all well prepared and tasty with lots of toppings standard, including avocado and salsa, and stuffed into double tortillas. If you're only moderately hungry one would fill you, though if you're a hungry 20-something you'd probably want two. We were there for lunch, though they have several breakfast tacos. read more

The food here is really good. At first My wife and I were thrown off by the location, but it was simply a matter of unfamiliarity with the Hawaiian eating scene. We ate the 3 alarm and Migas tacos that were sizeable, satisfying, and simply delicious. We originally wanted to get baya bowl across the lot (unknowing this was here) but ended up getting both tacos and acai bowl - Both were very delicious! Tried to get tacos from here around noon the other day but the man working said they were backed up and told me to wait 15 minutes. There was only one couple in front of me lol. I came to him again to order after 15 min and he said it's still backed up and didnt want to take my cash to order. Crazy. It was a blessing in disguise. Really delicious breakfast tacos. We got both the migas and three alarm and both were delicious. I would say the sizes might be a little small for someone with a large appetite but it was perfect for both me and my husband. The truck is in a parking lot off of Lahaina Front St and easy to find. Limited seating but that is to be expected from a food trucks. Prices were very reasonable for the portions. read more

Found this hidden gem here on Yelp! When you're on Maui and you want your breakfast taco fix definitely roll on over to this paradise on wheels for some yummy healthy goodness!!! Met Gina the owner who is from Austin, Texas like us. I knew we had a connection with the love for tacos while in Maui! She has several options on the menu to build your own or there is a couple options like a migas taco and a spicy one.... The black received beans are vegan and ever so tasty!! Gina left my hub's cheese soft but grilled mine to a crunchy texture which was amazzzzing! And the hot sauces!!! She gave us a couple of each one! My hubs loved the green salsa textures one the best, I liked the green creamy one the best! Don't think twice about coming here! Parking may be a challenge but don't give up! We are leaving the island for a few days and when we return we will be coming back here daily! Also, 3 choices of tortillas.. We had flour but she had corn and gluten free tortillas as options! Stumbled upon a new food truck. TaquerEATa! She's been open 3 weeks now and I'm so glad I decided to try. Upon arriving she greeted us and told us her most popular items which were Migas taco and Three alarm taco. I decided to go for the Migas taco but, I was feeling a bit fiesty so I added some spam to the mix. For a 4.00 taco I was surprised to see that it was pretty decent sized! The homemade salsa and creamy jalapeño sauce was just perfect and made my tastebuds jump for joy! For a great freshly made breakfast that won't break your budget eat here and take it oceanside to enjoy, it'll still be hot! read more

They started up their truck shortly after the 2023 tragedy in Lahaina and have only raised their prices $1 in three years. Very ono given there is still so much suffering and loss in Lahaina. I overheard one patron explaining his monthly rent in Lahaina is over $2700. Zoiks!! Wonderful selection of freshly made Mexican food, things I've never tried or heard of as a Canadian, and certainly things I have never had fresh homemade like gorditas. And most items are under $7, just WOW. LOVED the gordita, chicharron only on offer but still, so good! $5.50, perfect size little lunch for a normal adult appetite. Tried the chicken sopes too, lovely fresh sopes, generously topped although the chicken could use more flavour. No worries though, the homemade salsa was spicy delicious. We took the rest of it home to use later instead of tossing it. We also tried the elotes, which is beautifully presented but lacking in cotija. They use mayo to coat, tasted sweet like Kewpies, not really my thing as I dislike mayo and sweet creamy sauces. At $6.75 each, not really worth it. The food truck also has a cute theme. The owners grew up watching a Mexican kids' show called "El Chapulin Colorado" (the Crimson Grasshopper), and have used the theme throughout, including old toys from the 1970s. I had no idea the broader cultural influence this show had, including inspiring the Simpsons character "Bumblebee Man" and undoubtedly other goofy bug superheroes like "The Tick". Good food, great prices, and an impromptu lesson in Mexican pop culture influences? It doesn't get any better than that! We'll be back for sure next time!

He had not been since the fire and was excited! It was a busy day in April when lots of tourists were around and the restaurant was quite busy, I have to give special thanks to our server who really busted her tail for us. Everyone enjoyed their drinks, my margarita was spot on, I would have gone for two, but I had to drive later. I was amazed how quickly the food arrived at the table, given the place was jammed! I had a combo that included a chicken enchilada and chili relleno. I believe it was "off menu" I do not remember, but they will accommodate your desires. The enchilada was fine, but my determining factor at Mexican restaurants is the chili relleno, which was superb, in my estimation. We were able to talk all across the table but due to the crowd that evening we had to add a few decibels to our speech! Do not get me wrong, this is not a horribly noisy place, but I would not suggest it if you want a quiet night out. Some people hand out 5 star ratings for anything good, for me 4 stars is excellent, do not be misled!

Located in Oluwalu, about .2 miles past Leodas, Blue Taco sits well back from the road and may be difficult to spot, particularly if you are not familiar with the area. There are several outdoor tables acailable for your dining pleasure. My lunch was quite limited, 1 shrimp taco and 1 mahi-mahi fish taco. Both were served in a lightly fried corn tortilla, with freshly made pico de gallo salsa, excellent. Two tacos were just fine, I can put too much food away but have learned to be a bit more judicious. The shrimp taco was outstanding, great flavor, 5 out of 5 stars. The fried mahi-mahi just did not match my standards. I felt it had been overcooked a bit, as well as the frying oil having that "worn-out" taste, leading to a 3 out of 5 rating. I sampled three of their homemade salsas, all were great. Service was very friendly and quick, 5 of 5 stars here. Prices are good for what you expect on Maui. My overall rating would be 4.5 stars but the Yelp powers have not learned decimals!

My husband and I had the carne asada arepa on our first visit, and today I tried the Pabellón Arepa with shredded beef, black beans, sweet plantains, and cheese. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and every visit was met with warm, friendly customer service. As someone who is Hispanic and pretty picky when it comes to authentic Latin food, I can honestly say this exceeded my expectations. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. We enjoyed our stay in Maui. It's beautiful. But the food can be pricey and mediocre at best. And there weren't many quick, reasonably-priced breakfast options. Then we found TaquerEATa! I'm from California and have eaten my fair share of breakfast tacos, and Miss Gina's tacos rank right up there with the best of them. Hot, fresh, full of flavor, and the salsas are a perfect compliment. She recommended the migas taco and the 3 alarm taco, which were both delicious! My kids got the black beans and cheese and enjoyed them thoroughly. They wanted to go back for lunch which she said she would be serving the next time we visited the island. This place is amazing! I go about 5 times a week, it's just down from where I work. The lady is so unbelievably kind. She allows me to text her my order and lets me know when it will be ready, as sometimes she is really swamped and she is there by herself. I highly recommend stopping by, just be prepared, if she's swamped, you might have to wait 10mins or so, but it's well worth the wait. The chicken fajitas are my favorite. read more

Not really Mexican just eggs on a tortilla and too much cumin in the black beans. Food is OK not cheap and an umbrella at the picnic table would be nice. Takes awhile to get your order because the trailer is so tiny. read more
