    Shrimp Taco
    Sandy V.

Shrimp Tacos - I enjoyed that the shrimp was covered in a 'fajita" sauce; I like my shrimp tacos with some flavorful seasoning. Torta - Overall enjoyed the flavor profile and meat to veggie to bread ratio Shrimp Burrito - tasty like the taco with the same spicy "fajita" flavor. Wish there was more shrimp though. What I wish was better...the service. Not bad nor rude but, they did forget my shrimp burrito. I didn't check my bag before leaving, and they didn't repeat the order to me either. When I got home, I realized my shrimp burrito was missing. I called and informed them of the missing item. They told me they didn't know how this happened and they asked me when I'd come back to get it, to which I said "in 15 minutes". They said "today?". I was like "yes, today." I wanted my burrito. I assumed they'd be more apologetic and show more sincerity since it was their fault they forgot my item, which resulted in me having to make the trip back for my burrito. When I arrived at the store again, they had it ready, but again, there was not much service in the lens of "hey I'm truly sorry we forgot your item that you paid for in full and the fact that we didn't check upon giving your order to you--that's our fault, and here's what we're going to do to make it right." Again, it's not a huge deal, but showing some sincerity and demonstrating care to your customers can go extra mile when trying to build a loyal customer base. Especially, when there's so many burrito/taqueria places to choose from in the general area. Given the food wasn't super "unique" and the service (in the case of the forgotten food item with the nonchalant attitude) I probably won't be a regular there.

The food and the service is always outstanding. I have frequented this taqueria many times now and I have not had a bad meal yet. The flavor and quality of the food items really stands out. Hidden gem for sure for the food and the price.

This is my second time paying a visit to this spot. Definitely recommend this place for their breakfast burritos, especially their bacon. I ordered their chicken Torta combo that comes with fries and a 16oz agua Fresca, including my breakfast burritos.

Grub hub order. Order came on time as estimated, warm and neatly packed with no spillage. I've been on a super asada burrito binge lately and had to order one with a ham burrito for my daughter. The ham burrito came with ham, potatoes, eggs and cheese. Both burritos were huge, great in size for the price and both very had very good flavor. So impressed will definitely be ordering from them again. Only complaint would be not getting enough salsa for 2 huge burritos, I was only given one green and one red.

OMG! If I could give this spot 100 stars I would. Don't let the fact that this hidden gem is in a gas station deceive you. It's beyond delicious. My partner and I found this spot after asking our car rental place for a good spot to get a California burrito. You'll walk into a gas station convenience store that also sells liquor. It'll be clear you're there because there are menu items on the windows outside, but no main big sign. It's in the back left corner when you enter. This is a takeout only spot. It seems like they do catering too. The menu is huge and offers a lot of great options. We ordered the taquito with guac, the taco al pastor, and the Cali burrito. They were so tasty. These items had great flavors and spices. The crunch, cheese, and guac in the taquito was awesome. The taco's spices and juiciness were unforgettable. And the Cali burrito had a nice kick. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd run (not walk) here.

We headed in at an odd time yesterday around 230pm. It was late for lunch and too early for dinner. Nevertheless, we were seated in the front dining area, and ordered some entrees. The menu offers a lot of familiar favorites that you would expect to see at a a bar/ restaurant. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a few specialty plates. For my meal, I ordered The Local burger (no pickles of course) which was absolutely fantastic. Piled high with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes - this burger was executed to perfection. I ordered it medium, and it came out medium (imagine that). The best part was the sunny side egg that was placed on top. That first bite was heavenly. The yolk breaks, and all the goodness adds a little extra flavor to the already delicious burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned perfectly- I highly recommend this entree. The only thing I would add next time is an element of spice to take things up to another level. My wife ordered the BLTA sandwich , with sweet potato fries. I didn't try a bite because I had enough bacon on my burger , but I did sneak a sweet potato fry , and it was fantastic. My son order the chimichurri steak , he seemed to enjoy it although it may have had too much sauce on it for his liking. Perhaps it would been better if he ordered the sauce on the side. My picky daughter ordered the pesto chicken sandwich ,and she said it was pretty good. My family and I were full , but weren't going to let the dessert options pass us by. My family has a sweet tooth. We all shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding . Both are nice options if you need something sweet to top off your meal. The food and vibe of this place deserves 5 stars. I will deduct one star for the mediocre service and inconsistent food prep. Our meals were coming out one by one which made it awkward when trying to eat together. Our server didn't offer refills on our drinks , and didn't bring us utensils -until we asked for them. I will be back to try more menu items , and enjoy a cold beer while watching the game.

From the moment you walk in, there is a sense that baking here is not just a craft -- it is an art form. There is something magical about stepping into a French bakery, and Parisien Bakery delivers that feeling in full. The French have elevated baking into a cultural experience of indulgence and beauty, and it is on proud display here. Approach the glass case, and it feels like browsing a gallery of edible masterpieces: pastel-colored macarons stacked like delicate jewels, glossy fruit tarts shimmering under the lights, and éclairs lined up with precise elegance, each filled with silky, decadent cream. Sweet Highlights The sweet selections are where Parisien truly shines. Standouts include: Sweet crêpes Éclairs Macarons Croissants Maple cronut Fruit tarts Turnovers Each item showcases careful craftsmanship, balanced sweetness, and visual presentation that rivals high-end patisseries. Their French Roast coffee is bold, robust, full-flavored, and always piping hot -- the perfect companion to any pastry. Savory Options On the savory side, the breakfast sandwiches, omelet croissants, breakfast popper, and the Parisien sandwich are all solid and satisfying choices. While well-prepared, they do not quite reach the same magical heights as the sweet offerings. The croque monsieur and croque madame are especially intriguing and worth trying on a future visit. Atmosphere & Experience The ambiance is cozy and charming, laid out to be reminiscent of a sidewalk café in Paris. With both indoor and outdoor seating -- including street-side dining -- it is an inviting place to linger. A glassed-in kitchen allows guests to watch pastries being crafted in real time, adding a layer of authenticity and appreciation for the skill behind each creation. Warm, friendly service rounds out the experience, making it easy to see why this bakery remains a local favorite. Parisien Bakery is not just a place to grab breakfast or dessert -- it is a small escape into French culinary artistry right in the heart of Old Town Clovis.

The coffee here isn't as flavorful as Chez Maryse either but I did like that there's more vegetarian options, the prices are decent, and food not too greasy. While I was too stuffed for dessert, I was told that desserts are tasty. It's not a big place so on a cold day there are very few tables inside. But it's still a decent place for brunch while exploring Downtown Clovis and just across the street from the most bomb antique shop :)

It's always open, the service is prompt and friendly, and the price is right. Yesterday, like so many previous times, we were getting a large group together for the Clovis Craft Brew Festival. What makes Neighbor's so perfect is that two friends arrived first, and despite being just a group of two, they were able to snag a table for 8. As other friends showed up over the next hour, we just kept adding to our table. And our server was wonderful! He greeted each new person/couple and quickly took their order. At one point, the poor guy had 4 different orders put in on 5 separate checks. But everything was delivered promptly and to the right person, despite us constantly shuffling around the table and changing spots with each new arrival. I just love the casual and laid back vibe at Neighbor's! The food is also delicious and fair priced, and my draft beer was icy cold and only 5 bucks.

It turned out to be quite the mission to find something open past 9pm, but we happened upon Neighbor's, which was set to close at 10pm. The bartender was cleaning up so we checked if it'd be alright if we sat down for a couple of beers and she was more than happy to serve us. There was plenty of street parking as well. They have a decent selection of beers on tap (about 10-12 if I recall correctly) and I tried a couple of their IPAs, which were both great. The kitchen was unfortunately closed so I can't comment about the food, but this seems like a great place to hang out at the bar and grab a couple of beers if you happen to be in town.

The chilaquiles had some issues, with a few chips soggy and a couple undercooked, which kind of takes away from the dish. That said, the toppings were generous and the salsa had good flavor, so there's clearly potential here, just needs better execution on texture. The French toast was a nicer experience, fluffy and satisfying, though a bit small for the price and pretty simple in flavor. Nothing that wowed me, but solid enough. Service was a bit slow, and even something as simple as a fountain drink refill took longer than it should have. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Overall, worth a try if you're curious since there are some good elements here, but it's not quite at go to brunch spot status for me yet.
