The fresh quality of the food ingredients deliver a culinary cultural experience that will bring you back. Sampled the delicious menudo only served fresh that same day so refreshing with an esquite taste so light and amazingly flavorful. My go to menudo spot now! Paula services her customers in a warm and personal way always checking that you have what you need. The quality of their food I would say a Michelin restaurant would definitely be known for. Went in with high expectations. The burrito had a weird , unique taste. Seemed like the meat was mixed in a sauce. The meat had a lot of fat as well. Did not taste like a regular carne asada burrito. The regular tacos hardly had meat and were bland . Money wasted. No bueno. read more

Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. They are closed on Wednesday but the guy working there opened the door and made me a bacon breakfast burrito which was to die for. My husband and daughter had lunch here while I was visiting a family member, and it was so good they picked me up and drove me here so I could taste it too! The best chile rellano plate I've had in many years, with a complex and deeply flavored salsa roja. Everything on the plate was delicious. The corn tortillas are homemade, and the chef Paula, told us that she makes everything fresh - clearly evident. New to Santa Paula and looked on Yelp for a good spot with caldo in the area and the spot came up. Boy it did not disappoint and a new favorite spot for me. Picked up a caldo de Cameron on a cold rainy day and it was the best decision I made. Placed my order and within 20 min my order was order. It's a huge serving, probably enough for two people and the caldo with cost you $20. It's loaded with carrots and chayote. On the side it came with onions, cilantro, lemons, salsa, and tortillas. The soup overall was very aunthentic and rich and flavor. A 10/10. Cant wait to come back and try more things. Excellent food, agree with the Yelp reviews. The menu was a little confusing to figure out because all the prices were covered up (old prices) and so we didn't know how much things cost. We asked our waitress the prices and were told different prices than when we went to pay; I wish they would just update the prices on their menus. We all ordered tacos, really flavorful and delicious salsa. Those of us who ordered pastor agreed those were our favorite. The dorado (crispy/ hard shell) tacos were $2.90 each and the soft tacos were $5.50. If we are back in the area, we would definitely eat here again. read more
