We just wanted a quick bite nearby, so we tried this place. We usually cut family-owned spots some slack, and we did today too. No one greeted us, so we sat ourselves. Someone brought menus, we ordered, the food came, and then...nothing. The server vanished. The food wasn't great either; the rice tasted totally processed. The service was awful - no drink refills, no bill. We paid at the counter and left.

    fajitas a la plancha

So I remembered why we hadn't been there in over 2 years. Ordered the fajitas a la plancha plates. I asked the waitress if the beef fajitas were in big pieces like in the menu photo, she said yes. WRONG! The fajitas were small, curled up, barely warm pieces of meat. No taste at all and tasted old. My plate arrived 4 minutes after ordering which tells me that they were just been kept warm. Barely any onions or bell pepper. So I remembered why..bad old, no taste food. NEVER AGAIN. Just been honest. 8/20/25 13:56 hrs, order #600070

The food was okay we ordered a two tortas, large menudo, pork chop breakfast plate, and Huevos rancheros. The Menudo was stinky and lacking in flavor. The pork chop was small, and everything else was just okay. The waiter was slow to take our order and serve us, and it was slow. The restaurant is clean and colorful wouldn't go back but glad I gave it a try

Cheese Enchiladas didn't have a chance very delicious.

The food was great! We had the cheese enchiladas and the Machacado and eggs. The service was very fast. The staff was very kind.

    Chalupa plate for $7.99

Please do not go to this location. Employees and cooks are very irresponsible and rude to the clientele. I ordered a chalupa plate for $7.99 and I got tostadas with been and cheese. Like ... really!!?? I can make those myself and it can cost me a lot less than $7.99 First, they took 30 min to take care of me through the drive thru window. Only 2 cars where in front of me Second the lady at the window (very moody!) charged me wrong $4.32 more and she had to do a refund and charge me again. That I didn't mind. But when I got home I was so mad when I opened my plates. I ordered mini taquitos that were ok I guess. And then when I saw the "chalupas plate" I was so furious. I called the place and they told me to go get the lettuce, tomato and sour cream. She also told me that i can go get it tomorrow if I couldn't today., wow... what a slap on the face! No one ever said "I apologize" or at least have some type of sympathy because of their mistake. I spoke to a waitress and I asked to speak to the manager and the manager never made it out of the bathroom! What a coincidence. the lady on the phone told me I could go return the chalupas and get new ones ... Wow ohh my GOD Seriously I was out of work so tired the last thing I wanted was to go back and waste another 45 min of my life. Chalupas were for my son, we ended up eating cereal. I just threw $30 dollars out the window. The lady in the drive thru line in front of me was mad and was also complaining I wonder why. Never ever ever again i would go to this place. Save yourself disappointed and keep your money. I hope the owner gets this message. He needs to hire a better team. Like ASAP!

Tacos were ok but shells were soggy with grease. Meat didn't taste like it was cooked throughout. Won't be back.

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
