Don't order the Cheese fries from here. They were 7.99- and no cheese. Tortillas from tacos were cold at pick up.

    3 taco dinner to go

Another taqueria in Aurora. Finally tired Taqueria Aurora recently and it was okay overall. I had the 3 taco dinner with all al pastor and it was made fast the meat was kinda dry but the rice and beans and salsas made up for it. The place is new, clean, love the natural light with the windows, and service was good. It's nice to have another local restaurant nearby. Getting in and out of the parking lot is so so as it only has one entrance and exit. They as offer combo meals and weekend food items as well.

We had a lovely family meal here. This restaurant is SO clean! And the server was excellent. The serving sizes were ample. When you eat in, they give you chips and salsa which are good and they offer to refill throughout the meal. We ordered the nachos supreme. Loved almost all the toppings except the cheese which was the processed cheese sauce but, as my companion stated, that's what comes on nachos so, not their fault. Also, the nachos use a different chip than what you get with the salsa. Our food was good. I ordered a burrito which, although not on the menu, they happily made vegetarian. My companion ordered flautas and enjoyed those as well. None of the food is overly spiced so use the hot sauces they provide to adjust seasoning. Overall, a solid dining choice. Excellent service, clean establishment, good food

I've been here a few times now to give them a fair chance. Every time I'm disappointed with the food, it's either the wrong order or the food tastes bad. Today I got a torta de milanesas and I had a second opinion on it, and the taste was that of old food reheated. Now I know with covid things are harder but this is the same quality even before COVID-19, I hope they do better in the future but I know I won't be back myself or recommending them to anyone. My wife got the Al Pastor tacos and I know she enjoyed them so like I said I hope they do better in the future.

I've gone back quite a few times and lately it's been a hit or miss. There's been some times that their shredded beef is perfect but my most recent visit was very different. Our tacos had a lot of pieces of wiggly fat in them. I called to complain and we had to take the tacos back and show them the fat. As if they didn't take our word for it. We had them exchanged for chicken ones. I'm not sure when we will be back again if ever. I'm not sure if they have new cooks but their quality is just not consistent.

Aurora has a-lot of Taco Restaurants but this is the newest one in town so I decided to give it a try. Located on the corner of W. Illinois and N. Elmwood in a brand new building. This place looks very professional and clean. Not like most Tacos Restaurants in Aurora that are run down and dirty. This place takes it to another level. Has plenty of seating, good music and very clean. The people there are very nice and they have a fairly big menu. They also ask you if everything is okay kinda like the bigger chain restaurants. You don't normally see this in smaller taco joints. I guess that's a plus. Parking was good but with another business opening soon in the same building kind of concerns me. I think parking will be a problem, but you can always park in the lot next door at the other taco restaurant and walk over. LMAO They serve Free Chips and Salsa but could be alittle spicer. I had 3 tacos; Chorizzo, Chicken and Arracheras. All were pretty good but not the best I have had. The pastor was dry and the chicken soggy. They taste good but not what I excepted. The Arracheras tacos would have been great if the were grilled but there not. Over all it's a nice place to take the family or just have a few tacos on the run. I think there can be some improvements on the food thou.

Very short on meat. The saddest burritos I've ever had.

Fast, friendly. I think I am use to other cheeses on my tacos. Mozzarella cheese kind of threw me off.

La Sierra was approximately a 35-minute drive from our home in the western suburbs. We arrived at approximately 8:30 AM. As we drove up my wingman John commented that he would not have come into this neighborhood or restaurant if I was not with him. Yes, the neighborhood was a bit rough (I grew up in Pilsen in the 1960's) but to me it felt like home in Chicago. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the hostess and waitress and told to sit-down anywhere we wanted. We chose a booth in the second room of the restaurant; the walls were covered with photos of Mexico and the smell coming from the kitchen was heaven. Our waitress quickly approached us for our drink order, she mentioned that they had Cafe de la Olla (made with piloncillo-unrefined whole cane sugar from Latin America, and cinnamon sticks) which we both ordered. The coffee arrived in a colorful Mexican traditional mug (just the way my mother used to make me). It was delicious! We then ordered our breakfast, which was Mexican Chilaquiles (a traditional, comforting breakfast dish consisting of crispy tortilla chips simmered in red or green salsa until slightly softened) with eggs, meat & refired beans. We were both in "Heaven", the tortilla chips were perfectly cooked with just enough "Crisp" to them. Just the way my mother used to make me on a weekend morning. My wingman & I both agreed that we will be returning and bringing our fellow foodies with us to try the other dishes offered!

The parking looks awful until you spy the public lot just one storefront away. The interior is simple, which I prefer. Some cute knickknacks but not too much. The menu is the traditional Mexican fare, tacos, burritos, fajitas, plates, etc. Everyone should be able to find something to please them. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. They were doing a lot of take out orders and had my party and another couple dining in. She did great making sure we all had what we needed. We all started talking to one another so felt like dinner with a bunch of friends. My friends had the steak tacos and the Americano plate. Both really liked their items. The tacos were well filled and the meat tender and juicy. The plate had lots of steak on it as well as rice, beans, tortillas, etc. The sauce was a tad spicy but not overpowering for my non-spice liking friend. The star of the night was the Crazy Burrito. Massive burrito filled with shrimp, steak, fries, rice, guac and more. And when I say massive, I mean MASSIVE. Everything inside somehow all went together incredibly well. But each bite was different depending on what the ratio of the items was. Probably 1 of the top 3 burritos I've ever had. The steak, meat and shrimp were all perfectly cooked. Will definitely go back next time in Chicago.

The restaurant was clean, quiet, the bathrooms were clean, the cashier so sweet and patient--I couldn't ask for more! We ordered a asada burrito dinner, a chorizo burrito, and a large horchata to split. We were given a basket of chips and a delicious salsa that had flavor, but wasn't too spicy! The burritos were generously filled and had avocado! That's not something I see everywhere. The beans were a great consistency, the rice was soft and flavorful, and the horchata was top notch! It had a unique flavor, too, and wasn't watery. The cup also wasn't overfilled with ice! While we were patiently waiting for the burritos, we fell victim to the slideshow and decided we just had to try a gordita lol. It was SO good, but the portions were so filling we had to take the rest of the gordita and part of a burrito with. The tomatillo sauce was perfect and the red sauce had quite a kick to it, but not enough that it was painful. The food didn't NEED any extra sauce, but I like to try them, anyways! I wished I lived in this area so I could eat more gorditas, but I will definitely stop here again if I am around! If you're lucky enough to live in the area, please do support this sweet business!
