My review is primarily based on the nachos. I paid a little over $11 for the nachos with guacamole on the side. I came here because I missed my usual nacho place and was craving nachos. The chips given were stale and not salted. The carne asada was also on the dry side. I will definitely wait for my other location. I pay the same amount but more toppings and salted crispy chips. Workers seemed pleasant, I think a little language barrier since we asked a question and no answer was given to the question, it was more of a shrug. read more

Anyway, came here because we were hungry- We liked the price- $1.75 per taco- We got the pastor and beef- They were delicious! I am not kidding- They were actually pretty good- I loved the fact that they had a simple limited menu so the cost was low and the service was lightning fast! Ok..I'm so amazed of the size of the burrito! It is HUGE dude, stuffed with awesome chicken, rice, onions, beans and I use the red sauce. It tasted good, really good. It's not too dry or so ever, it just tasted rite! I like the food for sure, and it's just HUGE. If you visit this place, then just pack it if you can't finish it, lol. Got a burrito and asked for a chicken burrito and they didn't tell me they didn't have it until the the burrito was half way made. I then told them I'll take it W/O meat and just the beans, rice, and cheese. The friggin cheese wasn't even melted and the beans were warm. My boyfriend is always raving about how this is he best mexican food around, so one day he we went here to grab dinner. I'm always suspicious about the meat at little hole in the wall places like this, so i just got a bean and rice burrito. It was alright, nothing special. My boyfriend n the other hand got a carne asada plate i believe. He loved it... An hour later he was getting horrible stomach cramps and he spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. This is the closest Taqueria De Anda to me, so I like to go here every once in a while. From my experience, this is one of the bigger and cleaner locations. Not all TDA's are created equal and this one here is proof of it... I have eaten at many Taqueria de Anda's throughout the OC but was disappointed in this one. The meat tasted on the bland/left overs side and was just not up to par with what I have grown accustomed to from TDA. The shop itself is in a very busy small shopping center sort of near CSUF. There is a lot of parking, it just depends on the time of day and day to determine how easy you'll find an open spot. However, this place has truly done a disservice to it's bretheren by simply existing! While placing my order, simple requests like asking for the burrito to be cut in half, and for some hot sauce were met with stupid comments and snickers, followed by flurries of Spanish between the two workers. Got 4 tacos for $5.66 - one each of buche, cabeza, Asada, and lenga to really see what was good (self-crowned street taco queen, I'm ALWAYS looking for good tacos ). The meats were being held and steamed in those little metal containers, not grilled on the flattop like some places. Automatically came with cilantro (which looked a little withery:/ ), onions, and salsa. Buche was soft but too gamey - weird I didn't like it. Lengua was cut in huge chunks and was bland... They have al pastor on a trompo also, but when I went, it was pretty dry, possibly old due to not being crowded or used at the time. It's so much better when the trompo is spinning and constantly being cooked and shaved off. I will definitely give them another shot, but my experience that day was not that great. I come here a few times a week because the food is good. BUT, they've messed up orders numerous amounts of times. They struggle if you ask for more than 3 burritos, guarantee they'll label them wrong. Never give limes, make sure you ask for limes if you do decide to come by. This place is great. They guys are super nice and the burritos are really big. Not chipotle big, but thick, stick to your ribs, be full all day kind of big. They have burritos, tacos combination plates and (new) quesadillas. They charge extra for cheese (sometimes) and both the green and red salsas are awesome.
