This place is pretty good. It's a pretty limited menu and they don't add a bunch of extra toppings. It's more of the Mexican style. The street tacos are fantastic, I've gotten carne asada and chicken. The chicken burrito delicious!! The bowls are incredible as well. The home made guacamole is the best, super limey and so good! Great place for Taco Tuesday! I don't really know of any other restaurants that are worth it that's in the Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills area for it. This was my to go spot when I worked in the area on Tuesdays but once the pandemic started and I started working at home I barely stopped by even though I live like a 3 minute drive away. I started ordering food delivery since I was home already but going to start coming back more often when I do errands. We had been talking about eating here for a few years and finally stopped by today. Considering how hungry we were, the food was just mediocre. It wouldn't have been an issue had it not been for the price tag of $34 for a taco combo and a torta combo. On top of that, no inside seating on a hot day and having to ask for salsa and napkins separately just didn't make this place memorable for neither the food nor the service. At Savi Ranch Costco down the street I could have pad $18 for the fajita meal sold by the pound, and gotten 5 orders of hot dog and drink combo and 5 slices of pepperoni for the same price. Stumbled upon this individual taco stand business as we were venturing to the Food House located across from Realz Taco. On a Friday lunch. Food House was gonna take awhile to get our food served and we were on a time crunch. So decided to give Realz Taco a try. The service was good & fast. We got the ~Al pastor tacos were good. Street taco size. It was decent and well flavored. ~Watermelon Fresca was refreshing. Good and not overly sweet. Taste pretty natural. Only downfall is that there's no seatings inside. You order at the counter and pick up your food on the other side of building. They have a few stone tables and benches available. Just no umbrella for shades. You're like eating on the parking lot where the outdoor seating area is at. Plenty of parking. read more

Not too good tacos. Granted, good tacos are hard to come by in the O.C. This is much more easily accomplished in L.A., or Bakersfield, or Industry, of the SF Valley, or 'Frisco. In OC, and especially YL, you're lucky to find any tacos better than mediocre. These do not fit that bill. The portions are small. The meat is flavorless. The food itself is pretty bland on a good day. The pork is especially to be avoided. It literally tastes like cat food. Burritos are similarly unimpressive. The bean burrito is especially atrocious. Expensive, flavorless, and delivered with beans so runny, and a tortilla so insubstantial, that the burrito is guaranteed to disintegrate all over you, and all over whatever you're sitting in, within 5-10 minutes. No joke. I don't know how this place is still in business, other than the fact that they have no competition. On the plus side, the staff here has always been incredibly nice and friendly. Lots of smiles and nice remarks from the people that work here. Maybe that's what they're really selling. Not food, but good attitude. If that's the case, they should change their name from Real Tacoz to Real Nice People who serve something kind of like tacos, and stuff. There generally are a few tables to sit at outside. Parking is free and readily available. There's also a car wash a 150' away, so best is probably to get whatever while you're getting your car cleaned up. Otherwise, I recommend you just pass on by. Our go to spot whenever we get a car wash at Riverbend. Make sure to order your tacos "the real way" a layer of beans, your meat, onions, cilantro and sour cream. As simple as it sounds the beans and sour cream makes a huge difference. If they have fish for their fish tacos it's solid and a must. Haven't seen it on the menu for a while now though. I only wish that they used French fries for their California burrito instead of breakfast potatoes. read more

Shoutout to the owner of this restaurant making it a great and memorable experience! I work nearby and my coworker and I were blessed with a great experience! The tacos themselves have a great amount of meat on them which is rare for taco places nowadays! They were so good, I forgot to take pictures of them with cilantro, onion, and salsa verde on them lol! You can usually judge a place by how good their tortilla chips are and the chips here are no joke! Great crunch, great flavor, and great guacamole to pair them with! There are ONLY two paths Real Tacoz can choose in order to keep it from going out of business. #1. Change the name of the business from Real Tacoz, to Really Small Tacoz, and adapt gimmick marketing. Have slogans like, "Orange County's Smallest Tacos," "Size doesn't matter", and stock up on gimmick merch. #2. Focus on normal size tacos, offer quality meats, and stop with the deceptive marketing. I would recommend the latter. Focus on your quality and your clientele will take care of you. Seriously guys, sometimes you have to take a loss in the beginning in order to profit. It takes time to achieve that, it's not an overnight thing. You're in a pricey area, and people there will pay for quality. The service seems to be going down. Whoever takes the drive thru orders is super rude. She couldn't hear my partner order the food after he asked for 2 pastor tacos. She said "what?" (with attitude) And then you could hear her click the mic off. I spoke up and (politely) asked for "2 TACOS AL PASTOR please" and once we drove off we realized that we got 2 tacos de chorizo. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE FOOD YOU JUST RECEIVED BEFORE DRIVING OFF. This is the second time this happens to me with this same person. Great taco Tuesday deal, their salsas are great. Their little street tacos so 3-4 is the perfect amount. Yummy beans and rice. It's very small, no seating, just drive through or order window. Good place to eat! Burritos are massive, about $11. I said I was only going to eat half... 10 minutes later, there is nothing left lol. I do not eat spicy salsa, but the ladies inside motivated me to try the salsa verde and the salsa roja. They were both really good. My wife loved them too, she is from Mexico. Food was ready in about 5 minutes. There is no inside sitting, and the outside sitting in very limited. Most of the people do the drive-thru or like we did, we ordered and took it with us. It is definitely a good place to try out if you are around the area. And they sell shirts lol. read more

The only thing REAL about this place is that it's single taco price is REAL-ly expensive for 1. I can reminisce about how great this place used to be, but at the end of the day this most recent visit left me not feeling like I'd return. The issue I have is in regards to their menu, when they have "sides" listed, it mentions rice and beans at one set price together. However when rung up they charge separately which ultimately had I known would've gone without. To sum it up, will say their tacos are about as real as it gets and would highly recommend asking prior to ordering simple questions because that menu is unclear. So last month I went to get my usual order a regular chicken burrito with habanero salsa. While I was eating I noticed a hair in my burrito is was a long female hair. I was so grossed out. However this place use to be my favorite place to get a burrito. Today my parents went to get me another burrito and I was hopeful because I never had issues with quality of this place. HOWEVER today while I was eating my burrito I found another hair in it. That's twice that I have gotten a burrito from here and found a hair in it. And if I got a hair in my burrito a month apart. Then that's an issue. The staff should start wearing hair nets if they can't control their hair especially if it's ending up in a burrito. I think I might stop going here which saddens me because I loved this place. But if this happened twice. I don't want to keep eating hair. read more

I live less than 5 minutes from this place and am shocked it is still in business. I commonly patronize local independently owned restaurants in the area. I tried it when we first moved here over 2 years ago and decided to give it another shot. And I can say this will be my last time. The portions are miniature. Their tacos ($2.50 each) are literally the smallest I have ever seen at any restaurant, street cart or drive through from California or Mexico. Their burritos ($11 for bean and cheese) are also tiny. Perhaps those could be overlooked if it wasn't for the rude staff. They were rude 2 years ago and rude today. They have an attitude as if they are doing you a favor by over charging you for tiny portions. And they also get exponentially ruder if you can't complete your order in Spanish and have to ask for them to repeat it in English. There was multiple audible sighs of disappointment from the staff member helping me. My hope for this review is one of the following: 1) people stop patronizing this place so it will be closed , opening the opportunity for a new taco place in the area 2) the current owners seriously evaluate their business and make some changes. Start by clearing out the staff in customer facing positions and start over with new ones. Take a sample of some of your competitors in the area and adjust portion sizes or price. Real Tacoz is devastatingly inadequate in all areas you would want in a local restaurant and I absolutely recommend you look for any of the other local options. read more

There's always the disappointment of finding a new taco place that serves good tacos and are stingy on the meat portions. The tacos here are both delicious and have generous portions of meat. I've only been here a handful of times, and always get the carne asada tacos. Unfortunately, carne asada is not part of their Taco Tuesday selections, but it's worth it to pay the regular price for these tacos. The meat is tender, flavorful and plentiful! If I'm starving, 4 street tacos will usually fill me up. Last time I also ordered a Jr. Bean & Cheese burrito and the beans tasted so fresh - it was so good! I may be ordering one of these along with my meal from now on. One more thing, just saw they have a lunch special for 4 tacos + beverage for $6.99.
