One of the best hole in the wall mom and pops taqueria for homemade Mexican food. The owners make the food healthy for those that need to look out for our salt and sugar intake. Where is my steak and beans? My dinner plate looked nothing like the Instagram picture of carne asada plate. First these were canned beans not refried beans like their IG post. Lastly the steak was all membranous tendons all chewy and super thin. Nothing like a real carne asada it tasted terrible o flavor or seasoning and very little edible meat. Wow what a horrible dish. This place has great quality food for a cheap price, what else could you ask for!!! It does look sketchy, but in my experience the best taco joints come from mom and pop shops that are a whole in the wall. Don't let that keep you away, trust me, your going to like this place! I didn't know they had quesadillas made out of corn tortillas and you could add flor de calabaza (squash flower). They are amazingly good!! But as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the most charismatic, welcoming person at the counter, whom we later figured out was probably the owner, and he showed us what he had been cooking that day. We decided on quesadillas, one chicken, and two mushroom for our vegetarian friends. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this was the best Mexican food I have ever tasted in my life.
