    Chicken Taco & Pork Tacos
    Lauren S.

I come to this taco place regularly on Tuesdays for their Taco Tuesday deals, and it never disappoints. They offer select tacos for $1.25 if you pay with cash and $1.30 if you pay with a card. The options include pulled pork, spicy pork, chicken which is also spicy, and a vegetarian taco made with rice, refried beans, lettuce, and cheese. Their Taco Tuesday deal is one of the best around, and it gets pretty busy during both lunch and dinner hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is small and doesn't have much seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really like the sides they offer, especially the pickled onions with jalapeños. Their sauces are also great. If you like spicy food, the habanero sauce is excellent. On regular days, their tacos are about $3.50 each depending on the meat. I have also tried the burrito, which was very meaty, flavorful, and filling. Definitely worth coming here for Taco Tuesday if you want great tacos at a great price.

Found this gem of a place. It is mostly suited for takeout. Their service was very fast and the person taking the order was kind allowing us with enough time to order! The food was very good and tasted amazing and the salsa bar is a big plus. I wish I had taken more of the spicy and the guacamole salsa! That just elevated the taste of the dish. They have very reasonable prices and a lot of meat options. Highly recommend trying out tacos or enchiladas! It is an underrated place and should be more popular

LOVE this place for taco Tuesday! They sell 4 types of fillings on Tuesdays for $1.25 each and it is seasoned perfectly! They come out fresh and warm. They also have amazing salsas and sauces provided that you can grab to pair with your tacos! The workers are so sweet and are happy to help you. Overall I am so glad they have this restaurant around so I can have delicious tacos near home!

Cabeza, and Lengua tacos PACKED FULL OF MEAT- gonna say it, the best I've ever had as well!

TLDR: I was blown away, you NEED to go here! Food: Cabeza Tacos: A+ Lengua Tacos: A+ Carnitas Burrito: A Qusea Tacos: A Vibe: [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very much your standard affair but very very clean and orderly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There super polite and attentive here. What can be better?: I'm not sure what more I can ask for from a restaurant like this. Mind you I pretty much only give a perfect score for restaurant who are pushing the envelope and ones you should plan your day around. I would plan my day around this place, and they do the standards to perfection. 4.5/5

Recently opened this summer, Taqueria La Rienda has been a great addition to the Georgetown neighbourhood! This review is solely based on Taco Tuesdays, as each taco was I think about $1.25 or $1.30. There is only a small selection of meats you can choose for the Taco Tuesday menu, including: al pastor, pollo, carnitas, and veggies. My friends and I thought that all the meat was seasoned very well and it's very much a steal for the price! I really enjoyed the carnitas tacos from here. My usual Taco Tuesday place that I go to has similar prices and more meats, but I think that Taqueria La Rienda has better tasting tacos no doubt about it!

Come here for Taco Tuesdays!!! This place recently opened up in the past few months, but I can't endorse a better place around here for taco Tuesdays. At $1.25 a taco, you can choose between 4 types of tacos (carne asada, pollo, al pastor, veggie) and you can put your toppings on after as much as you want! I've never had such cheap tacos that filled me up so fast! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is a bit easy to miss, as I don't feel like many people stop in south Seattle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But definitely worth a stop here. Even on non-Tuesdays, their menu looks amazing! 10/10 would recommend

Quick and friendly service! Carne asada is tender and flavorful! The burrito is so good.

Coming from LA, I have tried dozens of places to find the best tacos and basic Mexican dishes in Seattle. This place takes the cake. Bunch of kids helping run the place? Great food with great portions? An Abuela who knows your needs and makes you feel warm and fuzzy, before your food is even served? Tuesdays, their deals are smashing, but in all days their food is smashing.

Came here for Taco Tuesday! Protein choices for the special $1.30 per taco deal: pollo, carnitas, pastor, and veggies. Discount if you pay in cash! Also tried out an asada burrito that hit the spot. Parking can be a pain, so be patient. Food was also slow, but I came on a busy day.

Wow! Such amazing Mexican food. I feel like there's so much sub-par overpriced Mexican food in the area- this is top notch quality and fair prices. I will 100% be back! In the old Chilolos spot, open 8a-8p! Amazing friendly service and the food came up quick, hot and beautiful

My favorite tacos in Seattle! The asada and pastor are very flavorful and not dry, the salsas are amazing and the portions are great for the price. The folks who work here are super sweet as well :) so glad I found this place

The ceviche was fresh and loved that they added shredded carrots for extra crunchiness. Tacos de carne were delicious, with the meat properly seasoned. I shared the mole enchiladas and lengua en salsa verde from this Mexican place…read more Of these, the lengua en salsa verde was my favorite. The beef tongue was cooked pretty well. Although it's naturally very fatty, the flavor and juiciness was retained after cooking - so they didn't screw it up. The salsa verde was a very nice accompaniment, as it tasted light, fresh, and a good complement to the fat of the meat. The mole enchiladas were less good. The mole sauce used leaned way too heavily on a sweet flavor - having little to no nuttiness whatsoever. It didn't taste anywhere close to some of the best moles I've had. The enchilada underneath was fine - nothing special. Both dishes came with beans and rice. Both were slightly above average, but nothing to write home about. I would say the portions were well sized in terms of overall amount, but the enchiladas were quite small compared to the beans and rice. With these two dishes we ended up around 28 per person. Overall, it's average Mexican food. 6.5/10

(those burritos are massive omg.) the mole enchiladas were SOOO good, as were the cashew poblano enchiladas. their sauces are so yummy and the presentation was on-point for both enchiladas. i also had a bite of my friend's carne en morita which is a slow cooked pork dish, and i was obsessed. the only thing i'd say to pass on would be the tacos. drinks were also great and had amazing presentation. i was very satisfied with my carajillo and my friend's passion fruit mojito was also very tasty (you could NOT taste the alc in it i swear) overall, koko's is a great spot if you're looking to dress up for a cute night out but also craving some tasty mexican food.

However, I just found out you can put your self on the waitlist on their website if it's busy. Sundays are the best days to go as it's not as busy and they were able to accommodate a big party. The restaurant also has a parking lot for people to park at as well, so that is a plus! The drink menu is very limited, they don't have a full bar. I ordered the skinny margarita and it was good. The food is authentic and if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, D'La Santa is the spot. We ordered the queso and the rajitas. Both appetizers are really good, came out super hot. Highly recommend. I got the carne asada plate and added an extra mini quesadilla. The carne is very seasoned so you have to eat it with the tortilla to balance out the saltiness. So many of our regular spots had lines out the door, which was no surprise, but we ended up getting a table here. Figured Mexican food is hard to mess up. Started with drinks- THE BEST MARGARITA I HAVE EVER HAD. It was perfectly balanced, fresh, just perfect to me. My fiance got a horchata and loved it too. They have an option where you can try ALL of their dips for $20, which I couldn't resist. It was so fun, they had like 9 different ones! I got the shrimp tacos and they were so flavorful that I almost gasped. The creamy sauce, crunchy veggie toppers, smooth avocado, and perfectly cooked shrimp...just wow. I will be dreaming about this dish for years to come. I am a pescatarian and gluten free and there were TONS of options for me. They mostly use corn for everything, not flour. The staff was gracious and kind. They seemed a little understaffed but truly made the most of it and made every table feel attended to and special, which was so lovely. I was disappointed to…read moresee that the menu has changed a lot (and not just seasonally, but just a completely different menu) since the last time I visited (maybe a year ago or so). Before it seemed like Maiz Molino was focusing on elevated, unique Mexican dishes (shown in the pics in my prior review such as short rib, and other sort of "fusion" dishes, and more seafood focused, etc.) Now, the menu seems way more generic and casual like enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, tamales, etc. just offered w/ different proteins. They are still focusing on maiz but just a bit more generic in the preparation and offerings. Also, they had 2 separate menus which was a bit confusing. One is a generic all day menu and then another menu had brunch and dinner on it. It was around 5:30 p.m. but they were out of a particular steak dish that we were interested in. Service was friendly. We had enchiladas, a dip sampler (for appetizer) and Tlacoyos. Everything was fine but nothing really stood out, sadly. It wasn't very busy while we were there, so hoping that they are doing ok as a business. I would love to come back if they brought back the old menu w/ things that you cannot really find elsewhere, including the great cocktail menu and desserts that were offered previously.
