    Steak Tacos Combo

Food is delicious as always love eating here portions are insane. The people that work here are lovely and the tv is on. Small eating area, but big enough.

Lengua and Birra Tacos with a side of lime and cucumbers

Was craving tacos for dinner and found this place by searching different Taqueria within my area with good ratings. I'm disappointed they didn't have Tripa, but they did have Lengua in which I wish they were more crispy when I did request when ordering. I ordered there El Pastor with the pineapple as well for their birra taco. To top it off, I also ordered their Pupusas. Overall, the food was great! We dined in not trying to make a mess trying to eat all the food in the car well, listening to the old Mexican jam they had playing back in the kitchen. The cashier was very generous as far for service and asking for extra sauces. With having to spend a minimum of $10, we forgot to order another Jarrito, and she complimented another one with no charge. Well, definitely be back!!

Queso Birria Tacos, Steak Taco, Pork Pastor Taco, steak burrito, horchata, and Asada Fries

Small little joint that could probably fit 6. Do not expect to take out. Horchata was really good and they also had jamaica. The tacos were okay the pastor taco had pineapple so it had the savory sweet kick. The birria tacos were the main reason we went and the birria broth was very tasty and the birria tacos were very cheesy and good. Not amazing but good and would definitely have them again. The asada fries were also tasty and loaded with cheese, steak, dice tomato and onion but wasn't overwhelming. Perfect for taking home and just eating when you get hungry late at night. My boyfriend got the burrito and said it was really good too. I would definitely come here again and maybe try the tortas next time.

Our server took about 10 minutes to come over, but he brought our drinks out fast. We both ordered the Ceviche Campechano, which was good -- I've had other ceviches that packed more lemon and cilantro flavor, but this one still hit the spot. It came with saladita crackers, which felt weird at first, but ended up working really well. The service went downhill from there, though. It took forever for our server to check on us after the food came. Eventually, I noticed he was also bartending, which explained a lot. The place got packed while we were there, and drink orders were nonstop. He didn't come back, and I had to flag someone else down to ask for him, but he still never came. We decided to share dessert and got the churros with vanilla ice cream. The portion was good for sharing, but the churros were hard as a rock and impossible to eat. The ice cream was okay, nothing special. We asked for the check as soon as the dessert came because, at that point, we knew it'd take another 20 minutes to get it, and we were right. The whole thing ended up taking about 3.5 hours, which was way too long for what it was. It was hard to hear each other as the pace kept getting packed and the music was getting louder. Parking is decent. Street parking is free after 6 pm (Monday-Saturday), and I think they have a small lot behind the restaurant, but I've never used it. Honestly, the food was good, but the slow service and crazy wait times really ruined the night. I get that they were busy and understaffed, but it still shouldn't have taken that long. Not sure if I'd go back anytime soon.

I had to travel up to Massachusetts on Monday and I was quite disappointed with the lack of a New England accent on anyone. We used to be a proper country. In any event, on Monday, I went to Mexica Burrito Grill. I met a man, on the line in front of me who insisted this place was good. I was skeptical because, I don't know this guy and why was he being so friendly? I ignored the warning signs and assumed he may be correct as he too was a husky gentleman. I ordered a burrito bowl with carnitas. I told them to include the rice and beans, because a man needs fuel that sticks to the ribs, along with double carnitas, cheese, and nothing else that sounded like it belonged in a rabbit's lunch. No vegetables, no salsa, no cilantro trying to ruin a perfectly good meal. They delivered. The carnitas were delish, properly seared, and tasted like actual pork that had been treated with respect (salt, heat, and time). The rice and beans did their job, simple, hearty, and not pretending to be anything fancy. No lectures about "fresh ingredients" or where the avocado came from. No one cares, Chad. Just a solid bowl of meat and starch, which is how God intended bowls to be used. I ate it back at the hotel with a black coffee and a pocketknife for portion control. Felt like I could split logs afterward. This is acceptable food. I may return. Highly recommended for men who understand that beef or pork are staples, with enough rice and beans to keep the machine running.

The tacos were sitting in a pool of it after walking from the counter to a table and were leaking a lot while eating. One taco had a ton of salsa and the other two had next to none. Also pretty light on cheese. The roja had good flavor but wasn't very spicy. Ended up adding Valentina hot sauce that they had available. The meal was a bit cheaper then other places in the area. Restaurant was very clean.

The menu proudly advertised a variety of margaritas, which initially felt promising on a Friday. SOLD! That optimism was short-lived. Parking technically exists, but the lot is so narrow it feels more like a trust exercise. Drive straight or prepare to exchange insurance information. We were seated quickly, which was great. Unfortunately, the booth area we were placed in was very dark--white text on a pink background in low lighting is certainly... a choice. Vision test unlocked. Our waiter? Service was present but forgettable. No name, no personality, no guidance. We weren't informed about the lunch menu until after our food arrived--because it was never mentioned. No recommendations, no upsell, no effort to engage. Prices leaned high, which would've been acceptable if the food had arrived hot. Instead, everything landed in that awkward lukewarm zone as if it had been sitting patiently, waiting for us to lower our expectations. The drinks were... confusing. My friend and I ordered the same margarita. Hers arrived a deep purple sangria-adjacent color. Mine came out pale and peach-toned. Same drink, allegedly. Consistency was not invited to the party. We weren't rushing--this was a rare chance to catch up. We ordered multiple margaritas, an appetizer, and entrées. Despite this, the server made it very clear that our continued presence was inconvenient. This was apparently unacceptable. Our waiter made it very clear he was not into us hanging around. Overall: atmosphere was decent, but the vibe wasn't friendly or particularly welcoming. Between the inconsistent drinks, lukewarm food, and the "please leave" energy, this one missed the mark entirely.
