I ordered the flautas and they were cold and lacked flavor. The food was cold because I asked for the food to be brought out since they offer that service so after waiting 15 min I called and said I was there they told me I could come inside or go through the drive through after she said the drive through was behind. Do not offer service if you guys are not going to do it. I Would never go back. To start, the service was great. The server was honest with us when we asked for a recommendation and said she was new and didn't feel comfortable recommending anything and offered to get another server. She didn't just push the most expensive item on the menu. We orders the menudo and a mix plate of food including an enchilada, taco, and tamale as well as a couple kids meals. I loved that they brought the kid's drinks in a cup with a lid. Next, the food was good. You get a lot of food for the price. My wife loved the Menudo which says a lot. The tortillas were obviously made in store. The only down side was the refried beans were from a can. We will return for a second time in the near future. read more

I guess the food would be ok, if they would get the orders right. They don't seem to understand English and usually screw up the orders. For casual dining it's a great stop. When you go in you just seat yourself, they bring you chips and salsa which is very good. The servers are very polite, but it did get a little loud in the restaurant, so if you're looking for a quiet conversation, this isn't for you. My review is based solely on the delivery experience through UberEats. My husband enjoys the food but everything I get is either soggy, full of gristle or bone, or just lacking any flavor. The beans and rice taste old, the chips are stale, the queso tastes like melted american cheese. Have ordered the Molcajete from here in the past and it was great. Ordered for delivery the Molcajete tonight and it had kielbasa for sausage, some type of rubber beef, and dried chicken. First off I ordered the mixed fajita plate and let me tell you, THE toughest beef fajitas I've ever had in my life, had to use both hands on the taco just to even take a bite off, literally the antonym of tender. Service was ok, they check up on you pretty regularly. I personally like the ambiance, it's putting off home style Tex-mex. Last night was the last straw. The order was actually right but the fajita meat was not fresh. It was dried meat like it had been sitting out for a while after it wss cooked. It actually tastes decent but every time we come we ask for pico de gallo on our taco and they put little to none on the taco EVERY SINGLE TIME !! I really like this place. No wonder it is always busy! Just about everyone greeted me, but no one seated me without me pointing it out. It was funny like a movie. I sat in the first room where there was one table available to eat. Hard to see me, but I was always remembered. My waitress was Didi. She was polite to ask if I spoke Spanish or English. The chips tasted old, but I got a fresh basket of chips with no problem. They had two salsas, and the one tasted like roasted tomato soup and it was really good. I asked what are some unusual dishes. She recommended a few authentic meals, and I ordered the hot bowl. It had veggies, beef, chicken and shrimp, but I didn't want shrimp. She said I could have extra of the others. It was so delicious. I was so full I took left overs home. She gave me more tortillas to eat at home. Didi is a great conversationalist, and in the end she hugged me. Awww. Based on this experience I would come again. My experience deals with the drive-thru experience. I was greeted promptly when I arrived at the window. I ordered 2 barbacoa tacos and 1 taco salad. The long wait was expected but not worth it. The line started to pile up quickly behind me, but within 10 minutes of me ordering I had my food and was on my way. When I arrived home, I opened up the box that contained the taco salad and it was upside down. The separators or what you would call it, were facing the top of the taco salad, so I had to flip it over and everything was a mess. The taco salad contained shredded chicken. I did feel a bit of bone fragments here and there but it was not that serious. The barbacoa tacos, did contain a good meat to celery and onion ratio. They were decent. I ordered the horchata which didn't taste fresh, mostly processed. I will be going there as a last resort but not as a go-to spot. read more

Why? because while my family and I were having dinner, we were sitting to the back on your left and where we are eating we see a female employee on break and a male employee who we found out that he is a manager coming up to her and kissing her touching her hair then he leaves and then he comes back and sticks his hand in between her legs under the table and she jumps and looks around to see if someone looked at them and while I am looking at this, my daughter looks at me she's like mom did you see that? my daughter is 13 there should be no reason why my 13 daughter is watching two grown ass adults, fondle themselves, and they're both employees of that place. When I went to go speak to the manager, I found out that the man that was fondling the female employee is the manager and his the response was that's my woman and I get to do what I want with her and that they are on break. I don't understand what type of workplace allows for two employees to fondle themselves in front of customers especially children when I went to go speak about the situation he started making slick comments says that's his woman, and he rolls his eyes and slick remarks, saying OK yeah OK whatever and saying that I can come in tomorrow and speak to the owner or the manager and that he won't lose his job because they can't mind anyone to replace him. I am telling them that this is disgusting and there should be no reason why they are doing this in front of children especially in a family area. then he started getting loud with me and told my husband to come outside like trying to fight. I think this is very ridiculous and I highly don't recommend this place mind you we have always came here to eat at least 2 -3 times a month for the past 2-3 years and for this to happen I think it's really grotesque. & even though I did not finish my food my daughter had to take her soup home I had to pay for my meal which I did not mind because I am not broke but it's disrespectful to be eating in a family place to see 2 adults fondling each other infront of children.. Please help report this place because this is unacceptable and for employees to talk to customers this way because they are addressing a situation that they have seen and a child has seen. R A W M E A T ! ! Taqueria off Veterans, right across from the KFC. Around 4pm-4:30pm on Sunday, April 28th. Received two tacos with raw meat. It was already closed when we saw them so we had to wait for the next day. Called at 12:30ish--quote the manager on duty..."We NEED the TACOS you threw away IN THE TRASH BACK so we can show the cooks the RAW MEAT and that'll be the ONLY WAY I can give your cash back. Also I don't have the same money in my cashier from last night so I can't give you the cash but I can give you more tacos, water and/or lemonade." FAIL. absolutely trash management. This place used to be good & consistent for decades, but now it's gone down hill. Think it has new owners & the food & service is subpar. Rice is over cooked & doesn't taste good, refried beans no longer have that toasty flavor, the guisada isn't stewed & the 'gravy' is watery. Salt is missing everywhere & they use microwaves. Not the type of food worth spending money on, cause you can cook it better at home. & don't expect a refund even if you return all the food. read more
