Have to review this place a second time as I have been back at least three times this week alone. I really love the food here. Reminds me of the "Baja style" Mexican food we use to get in Southern California. I've tried the Fish Taco plate, grilled fish on flour or corn tortillas with a side of Mexican rice. I order a side of beans to go along with it. My wife and i have shared their Carne Asada and Carnitas, Tortas, both excellent and filling. This location is very popular with the local contractors. But don't let that intimidate you. I've found them to be very respectful. The staff here is very friendly, seating you quickly and offering meal recommendations. I wish I understood Spanish better. There are many little notes written on the walls in Spanish. Very cool. Next time you get a craving for true Mexican food, check them out. read more

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Georgetown. The restaurant is situated inside of a convenience store but they have plenty of room for seating. The servers were all very kind and welcoming and made us feel at home. The wall was covered in hilarious dichos (sayings in Spanish) which made the experience that much more enjoyable. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos (nopales, bacon, & papas con huevo). They came out pretty fast and the servers helped us with a smile. I was surprised the nopales were NOT slimy and seasoned well! That was my favorite taco. Both salsas were delicious-the green salsa was spicy and the red was less spicy but tasty. They had other items on their menu (pozole, menudo, tortas) and I definitely want to try next time. If you're in Georgetown and are craving AUTHENTIC Mexican food, you need to come here (this is coming from someone that's Mexican). I got 4 bacon,egg/cheese tacos. These are normal size tacos. (Someone said they were small. If you got a huge mouth maybe so.) they were normal home made flour tacos. Very clean. Very fresh. In fact the green sauce I'm super glad they gave me extra. That is the absolute bomb! I want to rerun to have dinner here very soon. The price was fantastic! Right around 2 bucks a taco. Tio Nacho has the best authentic Mexican food in Georgetown. Hands down. It's a hole in the wall kind of spot and it's located inside of a gas station but, they offer tables to sit at and it's always kept well. Both their red and green salsas are equally delicious. They always have several aguas frescas to choose from and they're soooo good. My favorite things to order are the tacos de bistec, con todo (cilantro/cebolla) and their flautas plate. read more

I must try for me! Erica has hospitality down to a science and to add delicious food to the arsenal is unfair to surrounding restaurants. They were so unassuming being located inside a convenience store but the Sopes blew me away. They had a slight crispy edge and pillowy chew, topped with lettuce, tomato and crema. Had some great dishes and experiences. I'm not big into eggs, so I like to think I'm a bean and cheese breakfast taco Connoisseur. I would say this experience is what I've experienced 60% of the time. The green salsa is delicious, but they unfortunately gave me only red this time. There might be three beans in the taco and a handful of unmelted cheese (see picture). I ordered three and managed to scrape together a decent taco. For $9 with tip. Authentically Delicious!! This place can easily be dismissed or overlooked as it is attached to a gas station just off of IH-35 in a brown drab shopping strip. The small orange sign doesn't draw too much attention either. But if you're lucky enough to find yourself here you're guaranteed to have a truly authentic Mexican taqueria experience! The interior is a bit overwhelming as it's a small room with quotes written all over the walls. The family owned restaurant is run by three daughters who will take your order, get your drinks, bring your food and check you out when you've decided to have enough. Wether your going for breakfast or lunch the menu is filled with delicious options. The food is delivered hot with a smile every time. You should also order an agua fresca (fresh made juice) but if you're not that experimental there are options of Mexican sodas, or the regulars. You may not live in Georgetown but if you've ever driven for BBQ then you should drive for these tacos too! IKEA and the Round Rock Outlets are just a few miles away so keep this place in mind when you're there. You won't regret it! read more

Delicious, simply delicious. I had 2 tacos, pork head and beef head, and both were amazing. Crispy fat, tender meat. Yes, they are a little smaller than tacos at other places but their quality more than makes up for it. I also had the 5 empanada platter which was loaded with lettuce, cotija and sliced avocado. Wonderful. The empanadas were hot, flaky and chock full of chicken or cheese (you can mix varieties). Most empanadas I've have thicker dough, but I prefer these thinner, crispy ones. To drink, watermelon agua fresca. It was like I stuck a straw in the freshest, ripest watermelon. Light, slightly sweet, and very refreshing. Kid had a quesadilla, it had way more meat than cheese (which sounds good to me) which he was bummed about but he loved it nonetheless. Wife had 2 gorditas and liked them too. Hidden gem, looking for El Pastor de Trumpo. They told me that they have el trumpo de pina. Didn't see the trumpo but maybe in kitchen. I ordered the El Pastor de pina and it was very good, not convinced it was fresh off the trumpo. But very tasty. In a section of a gas station yet clean and very friendly staff. We'll be back! Drinks are limited to sugary drinks and no bottled water, I will bring my own or buy at gas station next time. No big deal. read more
