This was my first time trying this food truck. A few friends really hyped it up. The place was such a vibe. We went late one night. There is music playing. There are a lot of Tables ,chairs , benches to sit and eat at. I love that everything spaced out and not closer together. They do have a little station for silverware and a few trash cans around the area. There's also lots of parking space! It's a great date night area, especially when the weather is nice. Before anyone reads this part just know the food is amazing. We waited a whole hour for our food. (I want to say how long the wait is because you probably shouldn't go when you're in a rush ) They did get fairly busy quickly. We were at the back and I was watching the window where they were serving drinks and I really thought they were going to call us up because the pair of drinks were exactly what we ordered. I assumed maybe the drinks were for someone else since we didn't hear our name or number. 30 minutes later they finally called our number. I really wish they would've given us our drinks ahead of time instead at the end because when they place them by the window, they don't put lids on them. My drink was also missing the strawberries. But I was already frustrated so we left. They also had technical issues so I'm just gonna take it as a rough night thing. I got birria tacos and my finance got pastor tacos. We also tried the horchata. The food was soooo amazing. It was juicy and flavorfull. The horchata is probably the best in town! Next time I might bring a book while I wait but there will deff be a next time. I can't even describe how good they were because I was in Aww the whole time I was eating. We love this taco truck. We've frequented this as we live right down the road. The tacos are delicious as well as the charro beans and rice too. Their mangonadas are delicious. I was greeted with a friendly smile and my order was taken quickly. It does take a bit for the food, but it's well worth the wait. Very disappointed with our visit. After a family members recommendation to check this place out, we were stoked to make the 25 minute drive out late on a Saturday night... but I wish we would have just went to whataburger by the house lol. In the pictures, the food looks good, but everything was dry and really lacked flavor. The quesabirria just tasted like pulled meat, and lacked that Birria flavor. Even the consommé tasted like plain beef broth. The shrimp were way overcooked, super dry and overly seasoned. The chicken was tough and dried out. Rice almost tasted like plain white rice. And the pastor .... Just wasn't hitting. I was really excited about the horchata, but was disappointed when I took that first sip. Maybe I just don't know what good horchata is supposed to taste like, but it did not hit the spot for me. The lady taking our order wasn't exactly friendly, not a great customer service attitude.. just kinda seemed like she didn't want to be there. I get not wanting to work, but fake a smile when you work with people. As far as atmosphere, it could use a little work. No music, the string lights were off, and just wasn't a "fun" environment. This little taco truck serves up some delicious tacos. The meat in the tacos is tender but hearty, and portion sizes are perfect. My only gripe is with the corn tortillas, as they are a bit stale/old-tasting, but maybe it was an off day for them. I also tried the horchata, which was refreshing and not overly sweet. I've been to Taquitos El Jefe a few times, and while their tacos were good, their horchata is AMAZING! I've gone back multiple times just for the horchata, and I think it's well worth it. Some might say the price is a bit steep, but trust me, the quantity you get is generous, and the quality is top-notch. I do feel as if their birria could have a bit more flavor but for now, I'll keep going back for that incredible horchata! read more

Drove about half an hour to this taco truck. We got there 10 minutes before they open but it seemed as if they were already taking orders no biggie the line wasn't long yet once me and my husband ordered we had a 20 minute wait time which went by pretty fast food was hot and fresh. Mini tacos are amazing! Got Asada and the steak was so flavorful sauces were good to come for cilantro and onions would definitely go back for those. The quesadilla de birria not so much of a fan I think maybe it's because the flour tortilla. The consome was also a lot of oil the actual soup and meat was at the very bottom. They took forever to get me my order for 2 people. The horchata water is nothing but pure sugar. Very unpleasant to drink. Had to throw away. They also ran out of consome for my tacos.
