This location used to be amazing back in 2008-2012. Moved to Tampa FL. We have an amazing store. There. Come back a few weeks ago and live in Brentwood and it's close and convient. But the place is filthy and Ghetto. The vibe is dead. Clothes are all over the place I saw damaged furniture out of the Scrappy few selections they have. WTF happened?! Please bring this place back. Best Target EVA! Well, besides the parking "situation", which most others have mentioned. A simple solution is to go when others aren't there - my favorite times are right after work, and on Friday or Saturday nights (yep, what a life). I could walk around here for hours (er - I do, oops). There's tons of food options (I love their Archer Farms brand), household goods (including decor and furniture), cleaning products, clothes, booze, etc, etc, etc. This is definitely the best Target I've ever been in, but maybe I don't get out much. I beg to differ with the other reviews. I don't know if it is because we are coming out of the holiday season, but this Target has become a hot mess. It is almost always crowded to the max and the check-out lines are always helllllla long. Luckily, the cashiers are ten times more friendly than the ones at Wal-Mart, else I might have to shank someone for not saying hello. The women's dept has some pretty great stuff. Half of it is turning into clearance.... but it's reallllly unorganized. I don't have time to go through racks that aren't sized. Things are always out of stock in the baby aisles. Ladies undergarments as well.... I NEED NEW PANTIES!!! I wish they'd keep better stock of their inventory. I give it a three stars for irritating me at times. The people that work there are, for the most part, nice and helpful. I'm not going to quit shopping there... I'm in at least once a week. But step it up a notch, Tar-shay. read more

Yes, the product quality has stepped up at Target from years past. However, I don't think it justifies the price increases. There's a Walmart a couple of blocks away (cheaper prices), two grocery stores within the same plaza complex (diverse selection & better quality), and a mall a few blocks in the other direction (diversity, quality, and oftimes better deals). You know that commercial....."Best Deal Ever".... Okay, yesterday at Target....I only go to Target to get my bundle Toilet paper and Paper Towel deals..... $9.99 for a 36 roll of Cottonelle! WHAT!! Yup and $1.99 for a bag of cashews! Wonderful in my book. So, I signed up for the cart /Target app. I don't appreciate the tight parking but I really like this store. The restrooms are always clean. The food odors and pleasant, especially with popcorn and the starbucks coffee...yummy! They even let organizations host "donation" days there....it has to be well organized but you can purchase items off an organizations donation list and have the organization pick it up unless the organization is there at that time. He asked an associate by the name of Paige for help and he said she went above and beyond to help him. She found him 3 beauty boxes! I love Target and I'm usually at at least one Target each week but hands down the Brentwood Target is my favorite. Why? It's stocked! It's always completely packed with merchandise and carries lots of things the other stores don't carry. We have all been to target before, so we know the selection of products is huge and at reasonable prices. This particular location should be avoided when possible. The central location makes it convenient for numerous neighborhoods which leads to the parking mess and crowded isles. The staff has never been too helpful and tries to stay out of sight. If you ever find that you need to return an item or any other customer service, save yourself the trouble and either live with the purchase or visit another location. I have experienced multiple instances of poor customer service where I could accomplish more by talking to a brick wall. Additionally, be aware of the additional 2% TIP tax imposed on all the stores in the area. read more

How can you not love Target? They have all the things and so many more things that you don't need but look oh so worth buying don't they? I've generally found this Target to be pretty clean and well stocked (minus the time they were out of #4 coffee filters for almost a month). Generally the lines move fairly efficiently at the registers too since they seem to have adequate staffing. If they start get get backed up they are usually pretty good at calling extra employees to the front to get things moving faster. The parking lot is huge but go here and prime shopping time on a weekend and it's a zoo. We prefer to go later in the evenings for that reason if we need to go on a weekend when it's less chaotic. read more

Parking is a huge problem, that is a given. However, the people that work at this Target are not very nice. Time and time again I have bought items only to find out that I was charged more than what was on the shelf. When you bring it to the attention of the checker, they look at you like you are the stupid one and tell you to go to customer service to fix the problem. So now I have to take up more of my time at the customer service desk. Part of the problem could be fixed if I could just see the screen of the computer when I check out. The other part could be fixed by actually making sure items are in the right location and not mis-shelved. I pointed out some items in the baby department that were mis-shelved about two months ago--they are still in the wrong location. Oh, this isn't just a regular Target anymore, people...it's a SUPER Target! Yep...they have a grocery store in this little sucker now. While I personally wouldn't do any grocery shopping here, it's nice to be able to pick up a bag of chips should the urge strike me. This Target is HUGE. Like Rick said, the workers are pretty invisible here, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your personality. Me? I like being left alone, thankyouverymuch! I love target and this target is 5 minutes from my house. But the customer service is either excellent or terrible. Whatever you do, don't call them. They will just tell you off and hang up on you. If you're in the market for plus sized clothing, steer clear of Target. Their plus size department is an absolute joke. It consists of about 6 racks that can't be differentiated from the maternity section practically mixed in unless you look at some tags. Absolutely ridiculous. On my way out I decided to stop at their Starbucks for a frappucino. This has to be the absolute slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. The cashier was more interested in talking to one of his co-workers than taking my money, one of the girls making drinks stopped to check her cell phone at one point, and they don't work like they have a line of people waiting for drinks. I only went to get a one-piece bathing suit and the selection was slim. The whole swimwear section was disorganized & disheveled. I had to settle for separates, but it took forever to find a matching top & bottom (both small). Should have just gone to Old Navy and saved $14. read more

I do about three quarters of my grocery shopping here, mostly because it's cheap as hell (and Target's generics don't turn me off half as much as Walmart's) but also because I can score handfuls of coupons off of Target's website. Unfortunately if you ever attempt to buy something that comes with a free item, good luck ever seeing it in stock within the two-month time period of your rain check. As already stated by everyone, the parking is sheer madness. Also, they have the bare minimum of a lawn and garden section as well as automotive. But, if you're looking for cheap groceries, cute clothing, and a huge selection of housewares for a decent price, this Target's the place for you. read more

This is a large, clean Target with lots of selection and a nice dining area for Pizza Hut express items, Archer Farms sandwiches, and snacks and drinks. This probably sounds crazy, but on a casual shopping visit, start off by grabbing a medium drink and bag of popcorn for (I think it's only) $1.50. Their popcorn is actually pretty good! I think Archer Farms products are exclusive to Target, and we have enjoyed almost any Archer Farms item we've ever had. Great quality at an awesome price. On the lower price scale, their Up and Up brands are also pretty decent, and I haven't had any issues yet w/ the exception of their version of Sensitive Skin Cetaphil; the Up & Up version severely dried out my skin. Here's what I HATE about this location and the only reason why I don't give it 4 or 5 stars: 1) the cramped parking lot w/ super narrow lanes and exit/entrace roads 2) the lack of a 2nd entrance near the grocery side of the store (I know this probably serves a purpose for the store but it's a real pain in the arse and makes more of their parking lot less inviting to use - everyone is fighting over the same 3 lanes of parking lot.) read more

It is not a question of whether or not I'll go to Target. I'll go. But people new to the area should consider some stuff when contemplating traveling to this particular Target: It's kind-of a cluster to get there and get back out, there is a lot of lane switching, especially if you're traveling on 40. Upside, it's very close to a Trader Joe's, a Petsmart, a BBB, and soon, an Ulta. It's safe to say that you could get a lot of your shopping done in the immediate vicinity of this Target. Another upside, this Target doesn't have a security guard harassing you to see your receipt as you leave. Some other Target locations farther East / South have that, and it's not fun. All that being said, this Target is not the one closest to my house, but it's the one I go to. read more

This Target is so close to our house, we could actually walk here...although we never do. :-) It has everything we need from your typical Target, and it's actually well taken care of. It just has a little but if riff raff working here. Typical of a lot of places near the 170 & 40 interchange, the Metrolink allows some more questionable talent to easily get transportation here, from some if the less desirable areas of town. With that, comes a bit of an attitude that I just don't care for. You rarely hear thank you, or even a pleasant greeting from the cashier. Basically, they scan your items without saying anything, and look miserable at their job. If not for the madness that is the nearby Wal-mart, we'd probably choose there over Target for our household essentials. But Wal-mart is even a step below in terms of the staff, and the parking lot is always so full, we can hardly find a spot within reason of the entrance. read more

I gave this Target location three stars because I've been to worse and I've been to better. There's a Starbucks in this Target (which I would give 1 or 2 stars by itself) and they have some ready-to-eat food options available (like a concession stand/Pizza Hut thing...but they're usually out of food). The merchandise at this Target location is mostly well-stocked but I've had trouble finding common items before. The staff is nothing to write home about; they're not exceptionally helpful or kind but they're not rude or slow either. The electronics department seems to consistently employ people that are unfamiliar with their merchandise but they at least seem earnest when they help you redo the same searching process you've already done by yourself. All in all, I keep going back to this Target because it's the nearest one to my house and the merchandise availability & staff demeanor is perfectly fine enough to keep me from driving further to other Target locations. read more

Other review were right about this place being messy & crowded. They have so much workers stocking & taking up space with pallets of boxes. It makes me as a customer feel like I'm in their way even tho I AM THE PAYING CUSTOMER. Target needs to start hiring people to stock over night when it is less busy so that people can shop in peace Instead of feeling like we are irritating the people who work there. This day in particular I also had a very rude cashier at the guest services. She had no enthusiasm for her job. Sometimes when you're at work you need to "fake it till you believe it." I needed an acceptable looking floor lamp in a pinch so I stopped by here mostly for the sake of convenience. I found one on display that would work but there wasn't a box for that particular lamp sitting on the shelf below. Helpful store attendant Fernando went to the back and found one and brought it to me in just a few minutes. He even unboxed it so we could make sure it was the right one. Thanks Fernando, you rock! I gotta say, I'm actually quite happy with the lamp too. Nickel plated, contemporary, seemingly sturdy, tall, illuminates well and all for forty bucks. That exceeded my expectations. read more

Recently purchased a sale item, which the cahier rang up wrong. When I told she did so she said, there was nothing she could do about it and that I would have to stand in line again at customer service. When I finally got to the front of the line they had a very difficult time finding the price and finally I offered to take a picture with my cell phone to show them the sign. Then they had problems with the computer to put the money back on my debit and had me move to a new computer. TURNED OUT THEY HAD NOT BEEN REFUNDING MY MONEY BUT CHARGING MY DEBIT ARE OVER AND OVER UP TO $167 IN CHARGES FOR WHAT WAS TO BE A $5.91 REFUND! I did not know that they had charged my card over and over again until I checked my bank statement 2 days later. To get my money back Target told me I have to fill a complaint with my bank. The customer service is a hit or miss, there have been times where the service has been good and other times where it is the worst in the city. Staff acts as if asking them a question is such a bother and if you ask where something is they might point a finger in a direction that may or may not be the correct way. read more

Got treated to customer service with Chelsea girl at the customer service desk who actually said it is fine with her if I go to Walmart but she can't be troubled. to perform any type of service recovery. Wayne treated me to his opinion that "you're just being obnoxious". I know he was trying but really dropped the ball. No apology that of course the gift card was active and that they had made a mistake. I've been going to this Target for years now because it's the closest one to my apartment, but I've gotten much better customer service from most other Targets. I just shopped there today and purchased a vacuum cleaner on clearance because I wanted a good product but I'm on a budget. Once I got home I assembled it to find that it's BROKEN. I called the store and talked to customer service (after waiting literally 10 minutes while the operator tried paging them over and over), asking if I can exchange it for the same item and still get the discounted price. He told me no, because it was returned from online and isn't actually sold in stores. I asked if he could have someone there order it online for me, and he said no they don't do that. Then I asked if I could return it for another similar vacuum for the same price. NOPE. He told me there's nothing they can do but refund me and I'll have to pay the full price for a not-broken version. So now I have to drive all the way back, return it and pay more for the SAME PRODUCT and wait until it ships. Needless to say, I'm returning it and going elsewhere for another product. read more

This is the worst Target on earth. The store is literally half empty on a regular basis, it's constantly a disaster and disorganized, and there are always boxes stacked up waiting to be shelved. I've never seen a store so disgusting and messy. I've lived in Brentwood most of my life and it used to be nice. I now have to drive to Kirkwood, Town & Country or Chesterfield just to go to Target because Brentwood is so horrid and awful. It's like being on another planet at the Chesterfield Target, which is beautiful, clean and well stocked. That's a management issue plain and simple. Who doesn't love Target? You can get ANYTHING here. This Target is no different. They have a good kids section, food, household goods, etc. I bought some maternity clothes here and registered. It's easy for me to drop by on my way home from work. Loses one major star for an awful parking lot set up. This area is on my AVOID list for the weekend. WORST Target ever!!!!! Every time I go in this Target the employees (including managers) are standing around complaining about other employees. Every. Single. Time. This particular location is always spotless and for some reason barely occupied even though the parking lot is typically half full. There is never a line at the registers.
