Home Zone didn't have office chairs but there was a beautiful marble top desk. It was not the size I was looking for but definitely beautiful. They did have a nice looking high top table that I was strongly considering as a temporary desk that would easily be repurposed once I bought the desk with the dimensions I want. The sales clerk was super friendly and so helpful answering all my questions. I brought him to the table that I wanted to buy and put on the truck and he explained that this location is a display store. I could have the table delivered. Long sigh. I did go elsewhere for my desk but they have nice furniture here, wonderfully displayed and they're staffed with friendly employees.

If you like vintage shopping THIS is the store for you!…read more Les Muses Vintage is located in the heart of Denton, TX just across from Denton Square between W Oak and N Elm. This amazing store specializes in true vintage ranging from 1940's fashion to 1980's. At the front of the store is where you'll find some of their older pieces, however if you are looking for something "newer" they have a nice selection of 80s Levis and other leather jackets towards the back of the store. I usually don't like to shop at vintage stores because I don't have the patience for it, but this store was so uniquely curated and everything was placed in an order that didn't feel overwhelming. My friend and I were able to find some very unique piece and during the process fell in love with the staff working there. Besides clothing, they also have a lot of vintage accessories as well as home decor. Last but definitely not least, they have an amazing selection of cowboy boots for men. I can't wait to bring back my husband and get him a new pair of boots at this store!

What a cool spot!…read more We turned one street too early by mistake, but I'm not mad about it! There in the old Small Fry building we saw a sign for Denton Vintage Market! I wouldn't have known if we hadn't randomly driven by. Our curiosity made us stop to check it out. FYI, don't be deterred by the construction out front. The parking lot is in the back, as is the entrance. We walked past a sign about shopping local and then we were immediately smacked in the face by all sorts of eye candy!! This is essentially a store built of local vendor booths, so there is a ton of variety when it comes to the different products and price ranges. I was really impressed by how reasonable most of the prices were and how different so many of the products were. Also, this place is like a Mary Poppins bag, everywhere I looked there was another new room. I never realized this building had this type of square footage from the outside. In one room I discovered a section of Small Fry items, that was so nice! I'm including pictures because I couldn't possibly tell you how extensive the selection is for children's clothing, toys, adult clothing, purses and totes, home décor, jewelry, skin care and even furniture. I saw multiple vintage tea sets, an old coffee pot and some really cool luggage. I really wish I had discovered this place before the holidays, I found so many perfect and unique items for all the different people in my life. The staff is lovely and there was some delicious hot chocolate there as well! They are open Wednesdays through Saturdays and they were also advertising upcoming painting classes. We appreciate that they allow us time to wander around and look at things without any sales pressure. I know we're not the only ones who have gone in to look several times before being ready to buy anything. As soon as we make a decision (or if we have questions before making a purchase), someone is always willing to help us. Today we purchased a bed we had been looking at for months. Before making a final decision, we went to NFM and spent 2 hours there. Found something we liked, but the quality of wood just didn't compare to what we saw at RF. So, we came back and bought the bed we had originally picked out, confident it was the one for us. Save yourself the extra time. If you like something you see at Rustic Furniture, you might as well go ahead and get it. If you look elsewhere to be sure, you'll probably be coming back. We are also very happy with a hutch we purchased here a few months ago. It wasn't available in the color we wanted so we had to wait several weeks for it to be customized and delivered, but it was worth it. We love it and get so many compliments on it. If you like the look and feel of good quality rustic furniture, RF is the place to go.

Was just looking at the time. plan was to purchase after closing on the house to prevent moving anything twice, Today I drove the hour + to get there from Granbury. I wondered around in the store for at least 15 minutes and have not been approach by a sales person yet. I saw two sales people waiting on customers. There were other people sitting behind the check out counter, no one even acted like they were interested in me. One of the sales persons and a customer walked to the check out counter as the customer was making a purchase. The second sales person I saw earlier, walked past me as I was just standing in the area of the counter waiting for a sales person. The second sales person went behind the counter collected her things and walked past me and out the door. The whole time there was another sales person sitting behind the counter. When we were there about four weeks ago we found some things we wanted to buy. I ask the person waiting on us then if I should call before driving the distance. He assured us that that was not necessary ---as he put it, they all ways have the items we were interested in stock. Back to today, after standing by the counter for at least another five or so minutes. One of the people behind the counter finally looked at me and said "are you ready". I am not going to say she was rude but she sure acted as if it was a bother to wait on me. And of course the Items we had picked out were not in stock and she said they might be in two weeks from now if the truck makes it. I ask if I could buy the ones on the floor and she said she can not sell off the floor. I can not tell you how disappointed I am. The experience today was nothing like what we had before. I am not sure I will return--there are other furniture stores with more helpful staff.

Someone building or remodeling a home could do well getting out of vogue materials like 8 foot tall walnut bookcases or a complete set of solid wood kitchen cabinets for $1000. I found a huge oversized gate today. Now it's just a matter of hail ng it. Go!

We were a bit pressed for time, so we didn't get to really look at everything, other than to take a quick look through the warehouse. The warehouse is a real sensory overload. They also have yard sculpture pieces outside that I did not look at. They have good prices on some really good looking cabinets, as well as doors of all kinds. We have a older house, and so will be slowly renovating. DHW will be our first priority of places to come to for that vintage look, as well as the current stuff. Maria was very nice to show me around, and we were stunned at how much stuff they have.

Walked through their "showroom" that looks more like a garage sale or warehouse the way things are packed together closely. If you do visit, watch your step. Cords under rugs, etc. Way way too expensive for what you get. I heard a couple guys in the back of the store talking when I dropped by and looked around a bit. Neither could be bothered to get off their rear ends to greet a customer, so I couldn't be bothered to walk to the very back of a warehouse type store to beg them to attend to a potential customer. I left. Nobody even hollered "bye!" One of your competitors had a lucrative weekend :)
