I give this store one store only because of its dangerous doors. The doors are separated to in and out sections. If you choose the wrong one it opens into your face. Be really careful. Have no idea how or when this Target went downhill. Going there on the weekends is awful, parking is a headache! They also lock certain items now which sucks since you have to wait for someone with the key to open it up then they tell you to let the cashier know you have an item up front. Which I understand it must be due to theft however having to wait on an employee to open the item then tell you to get it on your way out interrupts a customers shopping experience. To top it off sometimes after finishing up shopping you forget to let them know you have an item pending up front! Makes me never want to buy my Cosmetics there again it is such a hassle to purchase them might as well buy them online, spare the trip (which means less money for you since I end up buying unnecessary items) and save myself the parking headache. Their employees are a hit or miss last time I asked for an iTunes card since I could not find them in the card section, the employee did not seem to understand English well she just said "Oh I don't know." The pharmacy team is very DISHONEST!.. they think people don't count their medication specially when you are paying almost $200 for medicine cash. I went and filed my prescription for Prometrium to sustain my pregnancy I had to get 30 day supply and when I went to count my pills there was only 25 pills! They wouldn't even let me talk to the manager! I had a Simple Savings Card and it saved me (supposedly) $30 but each pill is like $5 each so they thought I wouldn't notice. Very dissapointed they knew what they were doing. The store overall deserves 1 star if that. read more

The Target pharmacist in quoted me an exact price for a medication, and then asked me to pay 4 times (4X's) this quoted price once I arrived. I asked for an explanation, and I was told that I was given the wrong quote. The gentleman was polite, but took zero responsibility for the error, and offered no help to me. It takes a lot to get me to write anything negative online, but this was very poor treatment I feel. The rest of the store seems ok. read more

Smelliest, Messiest and purely dirtiest Target store I have ever been too.. the parking lot had trash and sewer water everywhere, the bathrooms were a resemblance to the parking lot. I had to go to the bathroom and took 2 steps in and had to turn around and walk out because I wouldn't dare take one more step into that disgusting landfill. This Target is one of my least favorite Targets around. I try to avoid it as much as possible but the problem seems to be that it is the closest one to me...lol. Many reasons why I don't like it. The parking lot sucks, people really don't know how to park. One time I saw this lady go into a parking spot, hit the car next to her (which was brand new BMW), backs up, tries to go in and hitting it repeatedly while still trying to squeeze her car in. Terrible! There was an employee gathering carts and he just watched and could care less. The lady had no shame, she damaged her car, damaged the new car with huge dents and paint marks and could care less either. Another reason is that this Target is so unorganized and messy! They are also usually out of stuff and don't seem to have any urgency to restock within a few days or a week. I don't know why but I always tell myself yo drive further to other Targets but today I was right by it and had to look for some stuff for my son's birthday party and just decided to drop by. Of course they didn't have the thing I was looking for. Lol. Well a plus is that they have a new Starbucks now so it gives the store a bit more class? read more

Today I was shopping around looking for bargains as I usually do. Stopped by the target of brook guest south of 22 free way and I was getting ringed up, security plus approaches to check if my coupons are legit and enetered correctly. Totally understandable, just doing his job. But the advertised buy one get one free offer on your glade candles were all of a sudden voided at the end of my transaction.. With a worker assisting me ringing up my stuff at the self checkout to make it faster cuz it was closing time. Then on top of getting ripped off, the manager douche bag comes up to me and straight tells me not to be shopping this late with all those coupons as if I were doing something illeagal. Who the hell is he to tell me what I can and can't do. I ran to the front when I noticed the lights out and I'd never steal. The guy ringing me up at checkout was A+, security checking my coupons just doing his job which is expected and respected. But the fajjet manager who thinks he can boss me around will get me to never stop by that target again. Btw target, you guys owe me for not honoring your advertisement. One of the managers of the front registers mislead my 74 year old mother into signing up for the target red card. My mother trusted this man because this is our local target that we frequent and he spoke to her in vietnamese and lead her to believe it was just one of those free discount cards. My mother had no idea it was a credit card! On a different occasion there was a crying screaming toddler lost, I took her the gray haired security guard and he just stood there dumb founded. We both continued to stand in front of that idiot security guard for another 7 or so minutes as he and the same manager I spoke of above had a conversation about who needed to go on break and what they had to eat?! Keep in mind this whole time the poor child was still screaming for her grandmother. This one goes out for YVONNE. My transaction occurred just a few minutes ago on 3/25 at around 11am. What initially annoyed me was that Yvonne automatically spoke to me in Vietnamese. I did not come to an American store to be spoken Vietnamese to. Secondly, she did not smile. Wha irked me most of all was that she did not accept my coupons because she misunderstood the store policy and coupon limitations. PER PURCHASE means every item that I am buying, not the whole TRANSACTION. I tried to nicely explain it to her but she just retorts by saying that she doesn't know how other Targets work but this is how this location works. This Target is dirtiest and disgusting Target we've ever been to! Dirty Restrooms. It has a very bad Smells very disgusting. As far as Staffs, they are most unfriendly I've ever been encountered ever. This is a Wednesday 10AM review consider Slow. So during Busy time, it can worst. Today is a typical day I stopped by Target for about 10-15 mins getting something for my kids. I see many Staffs walking around and most of time they're trying to clean up or putting back things other people misplaced them. I get it, you can get tired doing this work. But ugly attitudes when encounter customers is a no-no for me. I am trying to say they most of time, on this specific location, have a bad attitude when you're trying to ask them to help you look for something in their Stores. Even on a Slow wednesday day... it could be too. Staff were too busy cleaning and stocking. Expect the looks and the "don't talk to me" kind of attitude just really making want to write this review. In other days, more than One times.. I get looks and ugly looks especially when they see we have our children with us. What's wrong with you guys? Do you know why we go to Target? Because the kids or the house need something. Why aren't you hire more friendly, understandable people? Most of the time we go to your stores just for these reasons... And all the times, the kids are being kids within in your store. On this specific day, my 6 year old left me and my younger daughter who is 5 out of my sight. I spent 5 minutes picked 2 items from boys area and told my daughter go get your brother we gotta go. As I walked Over to the toys area calling them to go.. the staffs over this sections already giving me the speech. It's a slow day!!! Leave the kids alone. They are your customers too. I often buy toys in your store for them. I spent about 15 mins my entire time at Target this morning and found it very unpleasant. I understand this is a crowded locations with many patrons and mostly non-English speaking customers or customers with kids. But your help and efforts is most needed at this kind of Place.. because of where it is and because of the type of customers you have. If you're tired and don't want to be working here or dealing with the type of customers here then Dont. Please quit. You're giving us harder time and because of that I will not come back and support your place no matter what I need. I rather go to a different location. I love target by the way. Talk about being sketchy! I got home and noticed 2 missing items. Went back to the store. Suzana was helpful. But Manager E and the lady who rang me up (counter 5?) I find sketchy. Manager E said she checked the camera and that the 2 items were placed inside the bag. It was humiliating, being told I might have dropped the items in my car or somewhere (of course people around probably thinking that I was coming in to get these items for free). I went back to my car, checked every nook and cranny but didn't find them. Went to the spot where I parked earlier, picked bags on the ground just to make sure. Nada. So I went back to the store and asked Manager E to check the camera again, hoping it'll show where I dropped the items. She said she'll recheck the camera (muttered "I hope I'd still see it coz it's now been a while") and went to the lady at counter 5(?). Lo and behold! She came back with my 2 items, saying they fell out the bag! Really now??? Didn't she check the camera earlier and said they were placed inside the bag? Had I not pursued it I would have lost the items forever! So now I wonder who's more sketchy: Manager E who said she's checked the camera, or the lady at counter 5(?) who knew there were 2 items that weren't hers and didn't turn them in? read more

The parking at this store is a packed. Easier to park from a distance and walk in. The service is also shoddy. I had the honorable mention of meeting "Adnan". Muscle boy has a hard time comprehending English or knowing how to read English. When a coupon says "$1 off 2", it means "$1 off the purchase of 2 of the stated products". When the coupon says "any of X Brand", it means "any" within that Brand. Adnan told me that the coupon was only off the pictured item, but doesn't know how to read the "$1 off the purchase of ANY 2". Adnan further ridicules his stupidity by accusing me of photocopying the coupons. Muscle head doesn't realize that each coupon that is printed has a unique "PIN" number associated with each print. If Adnan actually spent time reading the details instead of 'pretending' to know what he was reading, Adnan would realize that all those limitations of the coupon were fulfilled. Adnan and his muscle head brain needs to go back and learn how to read & understand English before he works again in a service-oriented business. Adnan also has a hard time understanding "I need to get the manager's contact information". He proceeds by saying "corporate?". C'mon, it ain't that hard to tell me who your boss is instead of playing dumb. Yes, this review is about the service received from Adnan at Target on Brookhurst in Garden Grove. they seem to have everything in stock most of the time. ive never had an issue with this. isn't it funny how all targets have the same smell? i actually like this one a little more than the westminster one at the mall. That one is just too big and looks dead half the time. the cashiers bring books to read or take a magazine off the shelf. this one has a good amount of people, which.. u might not like, but i find that it makes it more fun. it seems like a lot of people vote based on what city the store is in. i think target has done a good job keeping every store up to par. ive never seen a bad target. parking is a little narrow, so you might have to park a little off to the side, but its not bad at all. read more

I was looking for a armband holder iPhone. I got greeted by a sales mobile team member named Nick and he showed me where the armbands at work. I proceeded to look at the open package and it was rudely stopped by electronics guy in that department. He told me I could not open the package and I told him the package was already open and he still was being A jerk and I was going to leave. But Nick came back around the corner to help me and was so helpful and because of him target got my sale. If it wasn't for Nick I would've left and never came back. Target employee by the name of Tony (African American in his mid-20's) tried to call me out on a fight in front of my daughter just because he thought that I was driving close behind him while he was pushing shopping carts. He turned around and mumbled something at me, I rolled down my window and asked "You got a problem?". He said "Yeah, your on my f#cken a$$!" I said "I was not even that close to you." He shoved the shopping cart aside, walked towards my car and said "Come on, get out of your car and let's take this outside right now!!" While throwing his hands up in the air. I told him that he was a pu$$y for calling out a girl on a fight and that I'll talk to his manager. He said "Go ahead, I don't give a sh#t!" When I complained to the manager (Tim) inside the store, the employee came towards and tried to call me out on a fight again. The manager had to aggressively push him out of the store. The manager took down my statement of the incident and said he'll report it to HR. It's been a week now and I just called to get the status of the situation. Another manager tried to tell me that they'll do whatever they can to make it a safe visit for me. So pretty much he's telling me that the employee got off the hook for threatening me. Lame!! I'm going to take care of this with the corporate and post it on every media possible to warn people about this employee and how management is not handling situations like this as they should!! Ok to start off im a target employee at another place so i know how tough thing can get but this time i went wasnt a holiday and it wasnt packed eith people. I went to electronics To pick up the TV. Had to wait for about 15 minutes because I couldn't find any of the workers after I decided to press the button for a worker to come to help us out. Still had to wait another 15 minutes till someone actually cleared the button which is something you're not supposed to do. After that time i choose the TV I wanted they told me they had it in the back when they came back they didn't have it and they said that that was not in stock anymore so then we had to decide on another one. When we would ask for opinions he said he alomst didnt know about tvs. This did eventually pissed me off and i just got a 50 in tv and went home. Oh and BTW the obly good thing was the cart attendant helped us load the tv ! That is something positive. read more

I live right down the street so I just walk over there.i like to go right when it opens at 8:00 am.if I am off work on the weekend I will go there not on a weekday because there are 4 schools all close together and at 8 it is packed around that area with parents,now back to target I go early to avoid the crowds so I expect them to still be stocking the shelves but as a another reviewer noted the ailes are blocked so sometimes you cant go down the ailes,umm target workers move them to the side so customers can get through!i just want to go in and out and get the hell outta there quickly as possible some of the checkers are nice but not all of them. read more
