Starbucks - Ordered 4 drinks and drinks were all watery and incorrect ingredients not just that but I waited 15-20 mins to be asked what i would like to order. We had a friend purchase a gift card from here for my son's first birthday on Saturday the 24th for $40. When my wife went to use it today, it had no balance. We have the receipt showing it was paid for at 1:11 pm. We called and were told the card had been used on the 24th and on the 25th. Impossible because we had it in our possession both those days and we didn't use it. We still have it. We called Target's gift card fraud department to tell them what was going on. They have refused to refund us the money and said once the card was used there is nothing they can do. They are going to "review" it which means they won't do anything. Shame on you Target, you should be embarrassed for allowing a 1 year old boys gift to be stolen and doing nothing about it. read more

If you love horrible customer service, then shop here. I dread having a problem with my purchase, or a price discrepancy. The thought of having to talk to one of the so called "customer service" employees behind the customer service desk makes vomit rise in my throat. They never smile or say anything remotely nice, if you ask for a manager or executive to help with the problem, you know the saying "sh*t falls from the top" then you know right away why the underlings have zero knowledge of customer service. Target does not care about the customer, they are not loyal to the average mom spending $500+ a month in there store. Don't take my word for it, try the customer service desk out for yourself. If you want them to call another store for an item check, they'll give you the phone numbers and tell you they don't have time and point to the red phone. My favorite experience was the last time I was in, my daughter picked out a Barbie bed on their shelf that scanned at the self scanner "item not found". So I asked an employee walking by why that was happening, he said go to CS, they'll help you. Great. Of course they couldn't help me. The manager said she would not sell it to me. But it was on the shelf in your store for a 6 year old to see and want. "It doesn't matter, I can't sell it, there's no price". Then left the clerk with me. I said that's not very good customer service. There were a million better ways to handle that problem as a manager. The clerk understood but, nothing. I mean I like Target like everyone else because they have almost anything you need and the prices are good, but if you have to charge me a little more in order to get some better staff then I'll pay more....because the customer service is horrible. My husband and I had ordered some pictures and we got in-line to pick them up where you are suppose to, right next to the service line. They had 3 people helping the service line and no one helping the picture line, once all the people in the service line were helped the 3 employees just started talking while my husband and I had already been standing their for 15 minutes...keep in mind these lines are only about 5 feet apart so it's not like they didn't see us. Then more people came to the service line and they started helping them while my husband and I are still standing there. My husband walks up to the employee closest to us and asks when we will be helped and she said you'll be next once we finish with these people. So we wait, once all the new people in the service line are helped the employee closest to us walks right past us to another part of the store while the other 2 employees start talking again. I purchased bunch of things including ingredients to make apple dump cake for Christmas. I woke up Christmas morning, excited to make my dessert and realized the cashier didn't put my apple pie filling in my bag! I know they charged me but unfortunately didn't keep my receipt. I frantically drove all over town looking for apple pie fillings but most stores were closed or didn't have any. Thanks to Target's incompetent employee, I spent Christmas looking for pie filling and ended up not being able to make the dessert after all. read more

Not a fan of this location or it's setup. I only go in when I am in the area but often find myself walking out with one item when I went in for ten feeling a bit let down. I prefer the Harbor location however my brother did find the $4.57 40oz PB he loves when Harbor was all sold out. read more

Target seems to be ok in their pricing, it is close to home so that makes it nice. People seem to be helpful when needed and they carry produce, movies, clothes, and pretty much anything that you can think of. They are not a grocery store and you have to watch the prices for some things as the prices for certain things can be a little higher. read more

Very poor experience at this Target in Huntington Beach & will never shop there again due to false advertising in their weekly ads & poor management.I was trying to by an item that was on sale and when you by 2 of the items you are suppose to get a $5 dollar gift card.And when I brought the items to be scanned it each item was over priced by $0.30 cents each in order to refuse giving out the $5 dollar gift cards.Management refused to honor the sale price in the weekly ad & never apologized & instead arguing back & embarrassing customer in front of other customers.Contacted Corporate which didn't help at all & no one knows to apologize.Very unprofessional & disrespectful to me & not at all helpful.This stores number 1 priority is sales & not the customers. read more

I write good reviews and bad, this one is bad. I am a stickler for customer service. Customer service has more then one definition, it is not just going above and beyond for your clients, it is also being expedient and efficient. Given that, I had a prescription called into the pharmacy with a confirmation time of 0830, I go into pick up my prescriptions and arrive in front of the pharmacy desk at 1100 and am being told that my prescriptions are not ready (due to others along with mine that need to be filled) and to come back at 1130. Mind you that there are three attendants behind the counter see customers and one pharmacy tech filling prescriptions. Um, really Target Pharmacy you have had 2 and a half hours before my arrival to fill my prescriptions!!! If the one person that is filling the prescriptions is having difficulty and you have three servicing customers at the registers, behind the pharmacy counter, would it not be a good idea to pull one of the Pharm techs on the register to help out your boy behind the filling station? Your wait times for customers picking up prescriptions matter!! What kind of business practice is this. I am seriously disheartened and frustrated. Frustrated because I am missing my first dose of my antibiotic because your customer service is not effective. Now I start my first dose later tonight and am getting an incomplete dose for today. I let the woman behind the counter know that I have an appointment at 1100, that I am presently late for and is there anyway I could get just the antibiotic, so I could at least get my first dose in, that I could not come back until later that afternoon. Another example of not going above and beyond for a customer equally poor customer service! Way to go Target Pharmacy on Adams Ave in Huntington Beach for poor customer service on multiple levels and ineffective business practices. I like target because they have great prices and quality.I found bikes and sporting eqipment cheaper than anywhere else ,same style and model. I like the camera department you can get photos instantly for next to nothing or make a card with pictures.My daughter is always using the photo department and likes the pbj sanwiches there.They have great quality for the price and are helpful. read more

I frequent this Target a few times a month and it's clean and the staff is nice, but the beggers outside of the store are SOOOO annoying. Nothing ruins a shopping trip like having people ask you to donate to some supposed cause when your own your way to your car. This Target is definitely not getting any better. Restrooms were not half as clean as they used to be, some items were listed "on-sale" but no sales price was listed, some grocery sections were very poorly stocked, and there was a longer wait at the cash register. Some checkers are definitely friendlier than others, but generally speaking, they're OK. No problems with returns, but customer service clerks are grumpy. Usually there is someone in front of the store soliciting for some bogus charity, but I was spared the annoyance last time. Did Houdini miraculously reappear as a cashier and made my money vanish before it could be used? I recently bought a gift card from this Target location entrusting the cashier to put the suggested funds on it. Well, my receipt and bank account reflected the purchase amount. When the card recipient tried to redeem it... zero funds. What? I was called, embarrassed, and highly livid. Where did the money go? Well, Target's investigating the issue. It seems, only minutes after I purchased the card, it was being used. What? Again. The cashier, I mean Houdini, switched the card for another right before my eyes. David Copperfield I've found your next apprentice, she works at this store. Her hands are quicker than the eyes. Never play cards with this woman, you'll lose, I surely did. Be careful buying the standard birthday gift cards. Check the card balances before leaving the store, unless you want Houdini to do a disappearing act on you too. read more

Bad customer service and stupid policy. I saw a Canon camera at the local BestBuy on sale for $229 that Target has it for $250. I called and asked the Electronics guy to check if they have it in stock. Mister Smartass said "No, we don't have it" off the bat. I told the guy that I've seen it at other Target and asked him to double check for me. The dude got pissed and asked me what Target I saw it at. I told him the one by Westminster Mall. He was "uhh okk ....*pause* oooohhh yeaaa we just got them in." So they I called the customer service and asked them if they price match BB. The camera is not printed on the ad but it is on sale in store with the signs and everything. I said I could provide the proof by going online or call the actual BB store. Their manager refused to price match BB because the require a printed version of the ad. What a tool. Obviously calling the actual BestBuy store is not enough proof for these guys. This particular target is suspect. It's sketchy , when they display commercials with all those races of people dancing and having a good time pushing products. It is sad that the feeling does not translate to all patrons. Target hires people to suit the community and this is costing them loads of money. If you go to the location near impovished or low-income neighborhood employees tend to reflect the area. So, it came as no surprise to me, when I walked into the target on adams in huntington beach, Ca., that I was followed from the moment I walked into the store until I left the store . I took a look around and saw people that did not look like me, and I felt uncomfortable. It was sloppy and clumsy. If you are gonna profiled people then you need to hire more educated people and/ or train the people you have( to include management). Because, you are an employee of a multinational cooperation. You are not tim, kamal, tina, or whoever you when you go home. You are directly representing someone else, and if Target is advertising great customer service for all-- by putting all those races in their commercial-- then who are you to decide differently. I'm well aware that people steal and take things, but it is not right for you ( the store workers and managers) to decide that I've stolen something before I began to shop.
