Oh boy, where do I even begin? Let me tell you about our recent adventure at Target on Barranca Parkway in Irvine. My girlfriend and I thought we'd give it another shot, but boy, were we in for a surprise! I have to say, it looked like a tornado had swept through there. It was like a chaotic art class for kindergartners, with nail polish painted and variety of colors spills everywhere. It was definitely not the organized haven my girlfriend was hoping for. We're all for creativity, but this was next-level chaos. Now, let's talk about the security guard, James. Oh, James, what a character! He apparently took it upon himself to become a detective extraordinaire. He racially profiled my friends and me, accusing us of stealing. I mean, really? Just because we were browsing the aisles and minding our own business, it doesn't automatically make us criminals. James didn't stop at accusing us. Oh no, he went ahead and dropped the cracker bomb on me. Yep, he actually called me a cracker. I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. I mean, who knew Target had an unofficial comedy club? Maybe James is secretly moonlighting as a stand-up comedian? We'll be exploring other aisles of retail therapy in the future. Was going to order a Playstation 5 console online, through their website and pick-up in store (The Irvine location on Barranca). Called the store 6-7 times during business hours, hoping to speak with someone in the Electronics department regarding my in-store pick-up options and ask a couple of questions about the different types of Playstations that they had available. No one picked up a single call. 6 calls went unanswered. Wasted 15-20 minutes calling the store multiple times and trying each of their extensions. I tried various departments and nothing. Crickets. I mean I was ready to spend $500-600 on a PS5 and I can't even get an employee of this store on the phone to answer a few simple questions. what's the point of having a call center or departments with extensions if no one ever picks up?? A large company like that and they can't get an employee on the line during business hours 6-7 times in a row. Ridiculous. I guess I will look on Amazon or Walmart to complete my purchase. No wonder their revenues and stock price keeps going down, just awful customer service and an even worse call center availability... read more

PHARMACY REVIEW: when someone comes in with walking pneumonia you think that not putting the perscription cough medicine that you charged us for in the sealed bag is a good idea? And then when we get home and find out it's not in the stapled bag with the other medicines and we call you it's probably not a good idea to tell us " Oh yeah it's still here" Um we kinda gathered that already. That is why we were calling you !!! And when you tell us well we close in 5 min and we can come get it tomorrow??? What the Heck ??? It's Pneumonia !!! you know a hacking serious cough and we need the cough medicine like now, And when I try to tell you that we need it tonight and then they guy I'm on the phone with hangs up on me. Well guess what buddy. You just cost your pharmacy the business of my whole family. You used to get hundreds of dollars from us a month on prescriptions. This review is for the employee named COLLIN who works in the electronics department who went above and beyond phenomenal customer service to ensure my step daughter had a toy that was sold Out. COLLIN you are the best! Not only did he search high and low front and back but also went through the returned items in the front of the store to double check the inventory for my toy. COLLIN also was able to de-stress the situation by assisting me online to order the toy at a different location. After miraculously finding the toy he also helped me cancel my order online. If that wasn't already enough My son had found a toy without a tag and COLLIN made sure to get a tag so we could buy my sons toy without hassle. COLLIN you deserve a raise and a standing ovation. Went out to brunch on Wednesday and decided I'd order to pick up. After brunch ran some errands. Over two hours later my order is still pending. I went in to find out what is going on. The lady at the customer service/Mobil pick up counter told me that it takes 6 hours for pick up now because they have to get items from a Costa Mesa Target because they do not have the room to stock items. I told her that the app tells us when items are low so the items are in stock here and that is no excuse. I even asked her why a Target in Costs Mess when there are at least two to three Target stores that are closer than Coata Mesa?? She couldn't answer and she told me a bunch of bullshit. I cancelled my order and I mobile ordered from another Target (and my order was ready for pick up in 30 minutes). I will NEVER go to this Target again! read more

I dubbed this Target "ghetto Target" because I saw a guy pull a gun on another dude in the parking lot - Why does all the crazy stuff happen in Irvine?? Definitely not my favorite Target, but it helps in a pinch when I happen to be in the area. The store is pretty okay. It's a little dingy and run down, and they might have the selection of most other Targets, but it's good if you need to get in and out quickly as they always seem to have a lot of registers open (yay!). Parking is also pretty decent at this location and they have 2 entrances - the main one and the one next to Happy Nails. Staff is pretty friendly and helpful, I just wish they cleaned up this Target a little better. read more

Target in the Crossroads shopping center in Irvine is a large, well-organized store with ample parking. During Black Friday week, it had fantastic deals, especially on board games and toys. You found some great discounts, like Game of Life and Blockust for $10 each (normally $20), as well as Katan for about $27. Legos were also discounted, with a space-themed kit for only $20 that included 5 building instructions. Unfortunately, by the time you returned closer to Black Friday, the best deals on games were already gone, a common scenario as discounts get snatched up quickly. Overall, Target still remains a convenient stop for a variety of items. read more

I love Target, but some employees make you not want to come back to some stores. The skinny guy with the dark hair in the blue security shirt needs to get off his high horse, look in the mirror, and learn how to f'ing smile to say something. This dude grills every guest with a dirty smirk upon entering the store. If you're going to stand by the front door looking at everyone you might as well smile or at least say hi. What is with this store?! I had clothes that I wanted to exchange for store credit but since I bought it on clearance... I was not able to get anything back for it??? What??? So I'm stuck with $150 worth of clothes because they were on clearance? I Never asked for cash back but only for store credit. Never buying clothes from target again. Then a while back I was looking for a face cleanser and the woman that worked in the cosmetics section told me I needed something for my large pores and with my age it will only get worse. I love Target! It's impossible to go there and buy just want I had on my list. There's always good promotions and a good selection of clothes, shoes, and beauty stuff. They also have a "promotion" area that has stuff for $1 and $3!! It's amazing!! The only thing is that lately I've noticed that the food section is lacking products, there's not a lot of meat available as well as teas and pasta. I have to say Target is a nice place to shop. It is the running mate of Walmart. It has fewer items then your typical Super Walmart. But the items seem to be of a better quality. The prices are generally higher as a rule; but, it seems that when you buy these items versus the Chinese made items that Walmart carries they seem to last longer. I can only suspect that they are made in the USA or places that use better quality material. That is why I am adding this post. It is all about what you pay for. read more

Target is the best supermarket EVER! They have everything you need in just one place, you can shop food, clothes, accessories... Staff is always helpful asking if you need help finding something. It is just impossible to come here and buy just one thing or to stay just five minutes inside, there are so many great stuff that distract you from your list. They have the clearance part that is great, many things for $1 or $3 , great deals. read more

The service was lacking, they do have a good selection of things but are a bit more costly given it's just a store similar to walmart. Whenever there's a Walmart there's a Target and I really appreciate that! I love how when you walk into the store, you immediately see a deal section. Any business that attracts violent teens is a business I don't recommend. Especially since target refuses to adress the situation about the violent teens that gather and start fights right outside the target front doors. read more
