I made an appointment a month in advance for my daughter. Confirmed the appointment and received the confirmation as well as appointment reminders leading up to the appointment. I arrived the day of the appointment and they said they didn't have anything for her. I showed them the appointment and they said it probably wasn't confirmed. I showed them the confirmation and they basically just shrugged me off and tried to make excuses like somehow I was responsible for their error. Completely rude and unprofessional staff and made no effort to fit me in at my scheduled and confirmed appointment time. Dr. Thi is amazing we have no issues with her, but the customer service over the phone not so good. Dr. Thi had been our family optometrist for many years. Unfortunately, our insurance changed and we had to change optometrist. We were so happy to go back to her again, after not seeing her for almost 3 years! Unfortunately, her front desk assistant Gina has bad customer skills, she blamed it on a bad connection yet her coworkers had no issues when helping me. We lost connection twice only when Gina would take over the call and also muted or put me on hold several times without letting me know. However, Gina had no problem discussing her hair salon appnt with coworkers while I was on the line After reading previous reviews it seems the issue has always been customer service, I hope it gets better. read more

I got an email at 7:42 AM to confirm my appointment it wouldn't let me click to confirm it so I called at 11 o'clock and the lady told me that they had given my appointment away because you have to confirm it right away... umm what? I've been going here for years to get regular eye exams and have always had a positive experience. Staff are welcoming and helpful, and Dr. Thi is very friendly and thorough during the exam. It's easy to make an appointment online and they text, email, or call you to confirm. I have never bought glasses here so I can't speak to that, but every eye exam has been a good experience. read more

We normally get our glasses from Costco, and from now on that's where we will continue to go. We ordered a pair of Cat & Jack glasses for our daughter last spring, and within the first 90 days she had a prescription change. In May we received the updated lenses from Target. Turns out Target never ordered the new prescription, they just re-ordered the same lenses. So we have lost 8 months worth of progress towards improving her vision. I would not recommend the Target Vision center to anyone. read more

Something we can all relate to is having our time wasted.....just got back from picking up my new glasses....got there tried them on...I knew something was way off. Sure enough someone didn't input the prescription into computer correctly. No worries I was told they would send them back and get them fixed at no extra charge to me.........and it'll take hopefully a other week.....I was to upset to ask what were the next steps they're going to take to rectify this situation. Went here today. I took my 8th grader to get new glasses. They are super nice, friendly and super helpful I love it!! Everyone here, from Lily to Alex to Dr. Lien Ti... they are all very sweet and accommodating. They carry a wide variety of different brands of glasses. I especially love the Ray Ban frames, they were really nice and had a wide selection of them. I will definitely go here again and I highly recommend this eye glass shop to everyone. read more

The employees at the Target Optical department are nice. The prices on glasses are horrendously expensive. My wife ordered a pair of glasses that were going to be $525. The basic pair of frames and lenses that I picked were $312. This was with the application of a $25 coupon for each and a $5 AAA discount. They also don't take Health and Wellness cards and the total was still high with Eyemed Insurance. We went to Sam's Club and her glasses were $325 and mine were $99 without applying insurance. Very disappointed in the customer service. They promise one thing and end up giving you another. I asked to purchase a name brand sunglasses for a discount price and when I was ready to purchase they were going to give me a generic model instead. When I purchased reading glasses they don't even do a fit test to make sure that the glasses fit well like other optical places I've purchased glasses from. Came in the first time for an eye exam and had a good experience with Dr. Thi who was very kind and knowledgeable. However, I come in to pick up my glasses right at the 14 day mark and the prescription is completely wrong. The staff misread the prescription the doctor wrote out so now I have to wait even longer, when it would have been nice if they would do verifications with the DR to ensure getting it right for their clients the first time. (If you read the reviews, you can see I'm not the first one this has happened to.) Of course it being a HUGE inconvenience, considering I need these glasses, no compensation was offered. To show up today at my appointment time to be told we don't have an appointment but they will fit us in?!!! Appt was at 3. We were here at 245. It's 325 now. Still waiting. I would give 0 stars if possible idle. I saw the dr here last year and liked her but they scheduled my appointment for this year and sent me an email with the appointment information. The link to confirm did not work. I called the phone number listed in the email several times with no answer so I left a voicemail to confirm and never received a response. I showed up for my 10am appointment they scheduled andd they don't actually open until 12. No one at Target can help with anything since the optical center I is a separate entity but apparently Nyla the doctor isn't in on Sundays anyway. This is my second time to have an eye exam with Dr Thi and on both occasions, she is great. Prior to my second visit with Dr Thi, I went to Lens Crafters in Temecula Premenade Mall about a month ago thinking i will give it a shot since i have a little extra money to get "better" quality eyeglasses but I ended up returning my purchase and go back to Dr Thi at Target optical. My experience with Lens Crafters was not very pleasant. I had my eye exam got my pair but had to go back to be be rechecked, TWICE! After recheking, they put the wrong Rx so had to go back again. On my second recheck visit, Dr said, progressive lens is not for me and just go back to single vision. I dont think so. So I went to Dr Thi at Target Optical in Murrieta. Dr Thi did an eye exam again and I got my new pair. It is prefect! The lady who assisted me with my new pair was great too. She helped me pick the appropriate eyeglasses. Something Lens Crafter didnt do. Next year, i will go to Target Optical at North Murrieta again! read more

Was not seen by the doctor for at least 30-45 mins after my appointment time for each of my 5 appointments, which is extremely frustrating when I was taking time off of work to get there on time. Staff sat around gossiping and reading magazines the whole time I was there. Got fitted for contacts but was prescribed the wrong prescription every single time, it's been over 3 months and I still do not have contacts in the right prescription. Went to this Target optometry office for an eye exam and new glasses. (Seeing double at some distances with my old ones) Discovered that I have an unusual eye condition and saw both Dr. Thi and Dr. Pham. Both worked with me with incredible patience and couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Had the same experience with the ladies who work in the front area of the business fitting glasses and so forth, made me feel like an old friend. Absolutely the place to go in this area. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. The doctor was rude and the office staff was completely incompetent. I had made an appointment a week before and they didn't bother to verify my insurance. When I went they informed me that my daughter and I couldn't be seen since they could not verify insurance since Tricare was closed (July 3)! I had spoken to Tricare earlier in the week and they reassured me that we were covered. When I went over my info with the girl in the front she laughed when she realized that she had written down the wrong names to my husband's ssn! So that is why it showed these random people didn't have coverage! After raising hell they did see my daughter but I still need to find a professional optometrist for myself! read more

Denise is just awesome. I went in as I had bought for them before and she was the one that assisted me over 1 year and half ago. She remembered me. She smiled, answered any questions and truly showed that she care. I could tell that she loved what she did and she kept cleaning my glasses, even dismantled them and truly cleaned them to take out any dirt. I didn't even buy a pair as I was undecided in regards to which pairs I should get, but I have to say that was a great customer service experience and it made me feel good! My family and I have been going to this place for 4 years now. My husband and I as well as our two daughters have terrible eyes. We saw many optometrists in our lives, but we were never happy until we saw Dr. Thi. My daughter always complained of headache and blurry vision and none of her glasses worked. I was getting worried. A coworker of mine referred us to Target Optical in Murrieta to see Dr. Thi and she took great care of us. Ever since my daughter got her glasses from there, her headache had gone away and she has not complained about her blurry vision since. Last year she tried contact lens and she's also very happy with them. Dr. Thi is very caring, knowledgable, understanding, and so easy to talk to. She's so personable and believe it or not we look forward to come in for our eye exams every year. It's a family event and we always leave happy. We are happy that we've found a great optometrist and no longer have to look for one. We also love the frame collection there. Optical staff are helpful in helping us select frames that make us look good. read more
