I've been coming to this optical location for about 10 years, and I can honestly say I've never had a serious issue until recently, and even then, they handled it exceptionally well. After my eye exam, I brought in my Ray-Ban frames to get new lenses. When the glasses came back, my vision felt slightly off. I let the staff know, and they took the time to troubleshoot and make adjustments, but the issue didn't fully resolve. They then recommended a new exam. Although I was past the 90-day window (completely my responsibility), I decided to move forward with it. I'm glad I did the new prescription was spot on, and my glasses are now perfect with no issues at all. What really stood out to me throughout this process was the level of care and professionalism from the entire team. Every single person I interacted with went above and beyond to help. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted, acknowledged, and genuinely assisted never ignored. That kind of customer service is rare these days. I should also mention this appears to be a completely different team from the last time I visited (which I believe was around 2023), and they've truly raised the bar. Whoever is managing this team should be proud. This is a well run, highly professional group that works seamlessly together. They truly deserve recognition (and honestly, a raise). This is the kind of team you don't want to lose a real dream team. I have zero complaints and will definitely continue coming here. They're super pushy here. I just wanted my eyes checked and changed my mind from getting contacts because of all of the upkeep and they seemed so shocked and appalled that anyone would change their mind about getting contacts, they asked if i was sure every time i talked. and my prescription didn't even change and they were shocked i didn't want new glasses. why would i want new glasses if my prescription is the same?? Like they're friendly and all but as soon as i didn't want to make a purchase they switched up and were so upset i didn't want to purchase anything else. The glasses and contact exam was $109. with contact trial pair included. Great price for it, Dr's. Offices are way more expensive, I checked. I made a last minute appointment during the week & got my eye/contact exam right away. The optometrist was very informative and helpful. Once I got my exam finished, the two ladies at target optical help me find contacts and glasses. They were extremely helpful with questions and claims about my insurance. It was extremely busy and both of them were super friendly and patient with all the customers. I seriously cannot stress enough how helpful and great they were. Feb 2021- Dr. Lee was great as a person, however, he got my prescription wrong with the soft vs. hard part of the equation. My eye site was the same from the last time I had my eyes checked, but he chose to mess with my eyes as if they were an experiment. He had to re-send my glasses out twice to be adjusted due to the headaches they were giving me. Then, when my glasses were ready, no one can seem to find my lenses anywhere when I showed up to pick them up. Employee on duty had to call supervisor so she can help her find them in the optical department. I paid for scratch resistant lenses, blue light and tints. Secondly, even with insurance, I picked a decently priced frame and after insurance, the total came out to over $300 with eye exam price. My lenses are now scratched and keep in mind, I do take care of my glasses as they're not cheap and I cannot afford to replace them like a $20 pair of sun glasses from 711. All of this after being re-scheduled twice at no request of my own. I went to Costco this year for the eye exam. My Total was less than $150 with exam and new frames offering the exact same package and of course with insurance coverage. I have new glasses with proper prescription on the first try, scratch resistant lenses with blue-light protection and tints. Great job COSTCO! read more

I just ordered my glasses but price wise they seem about on par with all other local optical places. I guess they don't staff well here, there were two workers when we first arrived but then one went home (it was 4:00 pm) and I guess there is only one for the evening shift which to me would seem like the busy time. I remember thinking the same about Target's photo section (where they take portraits) and wondering why they don't staff better considering their prices. We will see how long it takes to get our glasses, we were told 10-14 business days so that sounds like 3 weeks to me. I will update when i get the glasses. They REALLY push the $30 'accident' policy for your glasses but since they don't offer replacement if we lose our glasses (which is what happens unfortunately) then I didn't want it. We don't usually break our glasses but I can see us losing them. :) read more

They don't deserve any stars! Really horrible and overpriced service. I'm disappointed, unfortunately they took advantage of my father-a senior. He had an AARP coupon. They did my father wrong. Two pairs of simply black eye glasses. $460.00! No name brand. I'm very dissatisfied with your customer service. I have called to resolve this issue with the Optical Manager, she apologized. Dr. Lee is awesome but the other employees not so much. I came in for a consultation in the beginning of march and ordered a supply of contacts. I believe one of the workers there with braces (i dont remember her name) told me it would take 10 to 14 days. I left, called two weeks later and the call got disconnected or the guy i spoke to named Jesse hung up on me. i was running errands and didnt have time to call back. Then i called a week after that and told her it had been 3 weeks and stil no call. I spoke to the same girl the following week she told me to call back because she was with a patient. i called another friday and and she told me that if i hadnt gotten a call yet it was probably because they hadnt been in yet and to just wait for the call -_- i called back three days later and it was the same girl. i asked her if they were in, she told me if i could call back later because the system was down. At that point i was fed up already. it had already been a month and she kept giving me the run around. So i said to her " cant you check in the back and see if theyve arrived." She checked and found my contacts! her excuse was they had the wrong phone number on file which did not make sense. It did not make sense because a week after my appointment they called my cellphone asking if i needed to make an appointment because i had missed it. Which i had not. I used to recommend all my friends and family here, after this i will not be doing that any longer. Im sure if that girl would have been more helpful i could have gotten my contacts on time. When i called the last time she told me they had been ready march 20th. my appointment was march 14th. I picked them up April 14th. read more

Bad Dr. Lee at Target in Norwalk. I went to him for my annual eye exam (for contact lenses). I had to return to get an adjusted prescription - AFTER buying a few boxes of lenses since my vision was WORSE. What a waste of time and money! This guy DOESN'T LISTEN to patients. I misplaced the adjusted Rx, so I called his office for a copy AND THEY SAID he never gave me an adjusted Rx. I gave up on him and am going to the good doc at Costco. Better service. Better price. And you don't have to wait 2 mos. for your contacts or eyeglasses. AND they don't lose your prescription. *Don't go to "Dr." Lee. read more

Thee best target optical experience ever. They carry a lot of name brands like ray ban, Coach, Oakley, Armani exchange, Vogue, dkny. Came in today without an appointment and was assisted immediately. The customer service is superb. Thankfully through my insurance I was able to get 2 glasses replaced for $50 and a brand new pair of ray ban prescription lenses and frame for $55. Much cheaper than going to lens crafters. I would definitely recommend coming here before going somewhere else read more

I've been going to Dr. Lee for eye exams at this location for a few years now and I've been very happy with his services. Also, eye exams at $49 for glasses (I think $79 or $89 for contacts) is a bargain! I haven't had trouble setting up appointments and they also take walk-ins. However, it's best to call in advance as the doctor isn't in every day. He's very nice, polite, and most importantly he is very receptive to questions and I learn something every time I'm there. The staff is also friendly. The selection of frames is pretty decent, but the basic lens scratch REALLY quickly, next time I'll just spend a little more on the scratch resistant. They usually have some random deal going on, so take advantage if you can. read more

Had an eye exam today for contacts and glasses $80 if you have AAA. Dr Lee was great, he explain everything and answered all my questions. The staff at the actual frame store was great as well. I was recommended to Dr. Lee by friends and coworkers. He is a a Great & Wonderful Doctor. Me & my daughter had our Appt. on March 1, 2014 and were there for about 3 hours including Exam time and picking out Glasses, which we did take our time in. So after spending over $500.00 our glasses were promised to be done in 4 to 7 days which I thought was Great, but turns out my glasses were NOT ready till 3 weeks after. Between the time I left there to when I picked up our Glasses it was a Total disappointment with their Customer Service !!!! They did not know why our glasses were not ready for days or weeks and they kept blaming each other or blaming the place that makes them. I called them so many times and got no where and they did not return any of my calls and I can't believe how highly they came recommended !!!!! I will never ever return here but ONLY to see Dr. Lee, the Mgr. Olivia said she would make it up for all this bad happenings and I still waiting on that !!!!! Waited and waited and Lina (the person i directly dealt with) answered phones and merely walked around as if we weren't present in the room! That did not consist of being "busy".
