This location feels like a City Target. Reminds me of one other Target location in South County that had a similar layout and vibe. Doesn't feel like a full store, feels smaller, but they seem to carry most routine or regular toiletries, food, snacks, makeup, hygeine things, etc. Restrooms were also pretty nice and cleaner than other locations. Very clean, well organized store in heart of Orange, CA. They have great selection of products. Value wise is typical Target prices. Much cheaper than the other stores! Service is getting better and i see new faces here. They have great customer service! The Starbucks inside is cool too! There is a huge parking lot outside so its fun to get your coffee from Starbucks, have your shopping card and your target app ready to scan great deals and check the prices and this is what im doing every time walking to this target! read more

I only come here for last minute needs as they don't have a very good selection of items at this location. I like to use their drive up option (used in the app). Staff brings out your items to the car fairly quickly. Their toy section isn't the greatest. I recommend them mostly for toiletry items. There is a Starbucks located in the store. read more

This Target does not have enough space to be the truly gross big box store it pretends to be. So this store is basically a big square space with t-shirts, a grocery section, and a home/office area thrown in. The mgmt. seems unwilling or unable to staff this location with sufficient floor people or cashiers. This Target might be for those who enjoy a brisk walk through an unnecessarily large store with little variety. Imagine a more expensive discount grocery store with the same amount of staff; that vision is this Target. I thought the chic trash can by the entrance overflowing with garbage represents everything this Target tries to be. A poorly maintained space that could be worth patronizing for groceries and convenience items if enough staff were around to spruce it up. read more

Tracy in returns is the worst!! I went to do clothing returns w the circle app and scannable barcode and she insisted on entering each digit on the garments into the system one by one. I informed her that no other target has ever done this before. They just scanned the barcode on the app for returns. She told me that this is the only way to do it and it will take 20 minutes. read more

This Target is among the worst target around Orange County areas! We tried to returned a merchandise bought online. It clearly said that we could return in store. The employees are not professional and tried to give us problem; although my wife showed her the receipt with order# and barcode! After arguing with us, It took them almost 15 minutes just to complete the transaction! I went to mini Target for picking up my online order around 2pm. It seemed it wasn't busy, only 1 person to wait for purchasing line #1( line #1 is returning service and helping for purchase also ) that person is employee working at Target. I know it because my work place is next to Target and I'm working at my workplace for a years. I know every employees at this Target. While I just picked up and I walked to the booth online pick up to wait the lady working at online pick up and drive up. But the employee line#1 wanted to help me and told me to come over her booth, if she just helped and done that would be nice. But she talked with unhappy face that next time I should stand in the line ( and she pointed her finger the area next to her ) But I told her that I have online pick up , not returning. And she said I still have to ( I don't see any sign indicates " line for returning and online picking up " ) I said sorry to her . But her face was still dislike and she didn't say anything and walked way to take my 3 packs of soda . I realized she didn't take a cart for putting the items, and I realized I didn't take a cart either while I'm pregnant and I can't carry by my hands . So I grabbed a cart , and came back to her. She pointed my items and said " Here , yours " I was so upset and didn't want to say Thank you . And it made me think " why she treat me like that even I didn't ask her to help me . She called me over her booth . I was happy to wait a person doing online pick up booth. If she wasn't happy when I walked pass to her to booth online pick up, so she just needs leave me alone or told me someone else will help, that's it " I think the management should train the employees not only how to work and tap and scan on the screen, and take the money from customers, but also how to be better customer service. I asked employee at checkout where all the carts were, he said, "oh they must all be taken." Zero carts at...Target!! Need I say more. While the target is a lot cleaner and more organized than most, it is quite limited in its products. It has about half the options of other targets in the area. I went in looking for perfume, of which they had none. As well as their clothes and bathing suit section was quite small. It's good for running in and grabbing smaller items but it does not offer what target's normally do. read more

This target is close by which is good. I try to only do curbside pick up at this store because some of fhe workers inside are overpaid unfriendly young people that don't want to work and don't like people. There's a lot of good employees here too but I hate when I get one of the rude unfriendly ones. I spend almost 1k a month shopping at Target and don't deserve to be treated that way. They look at you with disgust during the whole transaction like you're bothering them. It must be management that doesn't emphasize good customer service enough. Every time I need something from Target, I check their app to see if this store has it before going. Every time I go, they do not have it despite their app saying they do. The store is also always dirty, inventory is scattered and the floors always have trash all over. You also can never get anyone to help you. So after reading a lot of the reviews, I was hesitant to visit this location. The reason I chose to come to this location was because it was right after the COVID-19 hysteria and I was looking for everyday essentials. First off, the store is really clean and really small. So they have everything as a normal Target but less stock out. Sadly, I was unsuccessful in finding my go to items. When I went to register to pay for the items I didn't need, the girl at the register was very rude. You can tell she was upset because of all the COVID craze. She didn't greet me and didn't even smile. For sure, the customer service needs to step it up especially when people are experiencing hysteria in our communities. Every time I visit I am impressed by how organized and well stocked this location is I was initially tipped off by a pal at work who insisted this store is the only store you will ever need. Indeed, I have bought more clothes, household products and housewares here than any other Target. I would say it is a carefully curated (edited) collection of products which makes it easy to find what you need. Target on Chapman have the worst customer service. Cashiers were just walking around while the return line was growing. Was next in line and Michelle opened the register next to me and asked the lady behind me she can cash her out. I told her I'm next to be helped. This Target is a great little stop. Mostly main necessities are available here. Not too extensive in miscellaneous products. Clothes, pharmacy, food, some toys, office and Knick knacks. Pretty busy but also fully staffed. Sometimes you can find great things on clearance. This location is in a very saturated area and parking lot. Lots of business traffic going on. They also have electric car charging ports and inside the Target there's a Starbucks cafe and now cell phone charging stations. Pretty cool! All we need is a salon and a daycare area! ** Hint hint then it will be the Mom Utopia it was intended to be! This is a mini-Target, but unlike the Target across from UCI which is also considered a mini-Target, this location is much larger, but still smaller than a "traditional" Target. That being said, I was able to find most things with the exception of a few surprisingly out-of-stock items or items they just didn't carry. Like Arrowhead water. There's a few shelves full of the Target-brand water, but no Arrowhead water. Also, the website has an option to view in-stock inventory at Target stores, but what the website seems to say this store offers and has in-stock, does not reflect their actual inventory. Something I found frustrating several times, hence the lower rating. Getting in and out is relatively easy as there are both staffed checkout lanes, as well as self-check out lanes. There is a pharmacy in-store, which makes having access to lower-than-drugstore medication prices great - and there is also a Starbucks inside as well. Parking is great in the morning, but horrible in the evening, since the tiny strip mall has a number of other businesses sharing the lot. At night, I usually park by the credit union and just walk - not a far walk, just not as well lighted as closer to the storefront. read more

We do it a lot at other targets (Irvine, Tustin or Santa Ana off grand) We walk in he pick up area is not clear because the Starbucks or blocking the sign...they need better signage. We walk around to check it out bc we had never been to that location before. It's small, so I was curious. They weren't fully stocked but "covid" has change all that. We grabbed a couple items and my husband headed to check out and I went to where it says in store I pick up, next to the returns area. The girl tells me I have to find the girl by the door in a sweater that looked like she is doing another completely different job by the front entrance....so freakin weird that I have to do that and there are NO signs. I do this and she scans the barcode, couple mins she comes back with my item and scans my code again. Tbh, unless it's urgent, I won't be coming back to this location. read more

After having a lack of Grocery convenience on the corner of Chapman and Yorba, it's a welcome sight to have a Mini - Target make an investment into this community. It has all of the services and merchandise of other Target's except smaller. They have a Starbuck's, pharmacy, grocery, clothing, toys, electronics, and home merchandise. The lines are currently long and the cashiers fresh out of training. That's nice way of saying a little slow. They have electric car chargers, and the parking lot is full of cars and customers.
