So disappointed in the lack of care of employees ...I told a Hispanic lady managing the self check out Sunday afternoon 5/8/22 (Mother's Day) at 7:30pm that there was a man with a child inside the family restroom ..the kid and adult had been there for more than 30 minutes and the child was screaming ...I told the lady and she blankly stared at me and said" a man and a child"??...she continued to do her work with no care in the world ...I guess you're not paid enough to care ...or it's the lack of care we already have. At least she could've said "wait let me see if someone can check "...but nothing at all ..so sad. I do hope the kid was ok.. read more

If I could rate this location a zero I would but that's not an option so a 1 star would do. This target has NO ORDER. I assumed because of the location it would be nicer than the ones around my home but it's NOT. First of all, they let old people do whatever they want. I saw an old lady grab a cart by Order Pick up that says Order Pick up on the side while I waited in line to get Starbucks. I saw a team member walk out of the door by Starbucks & as she walked by I politely stopped her & let her know that a guest grabbed a css we rr from Order Pick up team & she smiled & laughed/giggled & said it was okay. It's not okay. The manager of the store will eventually see it & then everyone is going to be scolded at all because the one team member said it was okay for her to do so. Secondly, would Starbucks ever. The team members are not aware of their other guest waiting in line because I had to tell atleast 4 guest the whole time I was there that the line starts behind me & that they should stand on those Please Wait Here stickers. Once it was my turn to order I asked if I could use my stars for a free drink & the girl said I can & they they're only doing 150 stars (even thoe I was aware of that) & I said okay. I have my phone ready to be scanned for a free drink & then the girl felt the need to inform me, if I get a pastry with my order, my total would be $5 dollars but I was getting a free drink so why would I be interested in that? So I answered "no thank you". I didn't question her about it so she scanned my app & apparently I got charged for my drink when it was suppose to be free. I wasn't going to be a Karen & cause a scene but I was going to let the barista at the end of the bar about it & so it wouldn't happen again but once I step away from the register this lady comes & cuts off the women that were waiting in line & the baristas didn't tell her anything & started taking their order SO I butted in & stopped her from ordering & I let her know that she just cut the line & even the guest that was next was like "how did you not see me?" & she had a whole cart & child with her. The woman stepped away but she wasn't standing where she was suppose to stand & the baristas aren't doing anything or have ORDER of any kind. Im just assuming this target location did not lose any loved ones during the pandemic. Target are suppose to make guest experience fun & easy & friendly but I didn't get that on this day. I felt like I was doing their jobs. I live in Compton & they make the Target near me look so much better honestly. read more

This is the worst target I have ever been to the employees are rude and always have a bad attitude. They look very unhappy. The management is just as bad. It seems like no one wants to do their job. Also make sure you check your receipts. I have been over charged almost every time and I've been over charged for bags as well. read more

Great target! Its located off of Kingsdale, so you don't see it if you're driving on the 91. Lots of parking and located across the street from a big mall (South Bay Galleria) so its a convenient stop. It's not the hugest target but they have all the things you'd shop for on a regular trip. Good selection of clothes, home goods, vacuums (which I was there for), electronics, and socks/shoes. I went right before Thanksgiving so there were a lot of employees on the floor stocking and organizing for the Black Friday sale. Everyone was nice and asked if help was needed. When I asked about prices on cardigans that were all marked 40% off - bc no original prices were listed, the girl pulled out a tag and read "its usually $24.99, but its 40% off so that's $4 so its $20" and walked away to her manager calling her on the radio. Not the best math skills in any way whatsoever but at least she was nice and I was able to find out that they were originally $25. If you're wondering they come out to $15 after discount. read more

I come to this Target only when I really need something and I don't have time to drive to the better locations. I used to love coming here, but that changed when the quality of service changed. Majority of the employees here are high school/college students who couldn't care less about customer service. I hardly ever see anyone around the store, and when I do, they're either on their phones texting or chatting with other employees. The ones who work at the registers always have a bad attitude and don't even look up when a customer is trying to pay. Its ridiculous. I'd rather drive fifteen minutes away to the Manhattan Beach location (where the employees actually care) than deal with employees here. read more

I have been shopping at Target since the day that I was able to say the word, "Target"...Well...maybe not that long, but a long time. You have to commend Target for being a real community company though. What I mean is that they share your credit card information with the entire community. LOL I have to confess though that I am really more of a Walmart shopper than Target, but there are times that Target has some things that Walmart does not and sometimes the same things at better prices. But I try to hit Walmart first and clean up in Target. There are not many Walmarts in the areas of LA that I travel so then Target gets the business. But if I am in the OC or Valley, then it's Walmart first. Their stores are usually clean, well lite, organized, nice bathrooms, and you feel good in the store. I don't see any reason not to shop here, unless you have an aversion to RED. read more

I came by here Saturday night to get my all toiletries and housing supplies. The parking lot here is underground and then you come up some escalators. After perusing around for over an hour I found most everything that I was looking for EXCEPT they didn't have an Easter aisle. So the bad part is that you have to send your cart down the "cart" escalator...which is somewhat unstable...so my bottled water had to be hand carried with me down the people escalator...and then I got turned around while exiting and I had to go in circles to find my car. Other than that...it's like any other Target. I like the one off of Sepulveda and the 110 better. read more

My mom lives close to this Target and everytime we go it's a Mess. Looking for a toothbrush, they are in a huge pile on the bottom of the display. Nothing is restocked OR it's somewhere it's not supposed to be. Customers and perhaps employees don't put product away where it belongs. I know that it's hard to control the public but maybe they need more employees on it. The mess is almost a joke that anywhere you turn there is product where it's not supposed to be. Please see pictures. But the store is dirty, dusty and clearly not kept up. Target, please teach your employees to respect their jobs and maybe to work a little harder. Good products and people. Online zerowater 6 pack filters are $59.99 but in store pricing is $68.99. But If you order online for pickup you get the online price. That was not a problem here. The nice lady price matched the online price. It would've been nice for it to just be $59.99 but the 30 seconds to correct this was not an inconvenience. read more

I was surprised to see that you have to take escalators to reach the main level!! I don't know why the store is located on the 2nd level. Grand entrance I must say. At least this Target is near the South Bay Galleria~ and Nordstrom Rack, Sprouts, Panera Bread... quite a few things in the shopping center vicinity. read more

The manager that was on duty 1/27/2021 (around 12 noon or 12:30 she was a younger black girl) unfortunately I didnt get her name, but she was amazing! I was upset that I drove to this location, which was out of my way for an item that was not in stock although the app said it was. I called to verify and no one answered. She remained calm the whole time I vented my frustrations to her and was so nice the entire time & proceeded to help me find another store that had the item in stock & also went above and beyond to try and make up for the waste of time & gas. Very pleasant and professional. I just wanted to commend her for doing such an amazing job & really turning my experience around. Thank you! I hope this location hires more employees & managers like her. Not everyone has what it takes to work in retail but she definitely does! read more

I don't usually like shopping but I was just here today getting some Axe shampoo after my nephew put water in my old Axe Shampoo and the shampoo comes out like water instead of the soapy liquid feeling. I think this is my second time coming to this location. Pros: -There is covered parking. -Seems big like the Torrance location -Has groceries -Has an escalator for shopping carts (must be nifty if you are a skate boarder and or snowboarder and want to skate down that escalator) -Self checkout Con: -I think it was few cents more or a dollar more for my shampoo compared to Walmart down the street (way way way down the street). Well things are a little more at Target PERIOD! Not much of a con though but the cashier didn't have enough cash for my change. read more

You will probably find more of a selection here than at the Manhattan Beach Target. However, you will have to wait in a long checkout line because they just don't pay attention to how many customers are waiting! It's so annoying. It isn't bad when I'm alone but imagine waiting in line with one child that is crying because he is teething and the other who is whining because all he wants is for me to pay for his Buzz Lightyear Wings. In this situation, I would have much preferred to be at the Manhattan Beach Target, because they are on top of their game as far as getting you through the checkout line. I'm here right now for target pickup. It's been 30 minutes and it doesn't even seem like I'm getting my items anytime soon. They've increased the number of car spots for target pickup but not enough workers. There's literally one girl going up and down getting stuff for at least 12 cars. Completely inefficient. They need to hire more workers. I almost want to go out and help her. Lol. I feel like they need to limit the number of cars out here for pickup or hire more staff. Not coming back here until they get their act together. read more

What is the point of a drive up order if I have to go in to get it? They either: a. haven't even started to get my items after hours, so when I go to see what's up, they tell me no one has even started it yet, or b. I try to wait for an email (which I never received, but I did receive the emailed receipt for my items) only for them to tell me I didn't get it in time, and they put all my items back. If it takes this long for orders to be ready, then obviously they either need to accept less orders for drive up, so that they can actually fulfill orders in a semi timely manner. Or they need to staff their store with either more, or more efficient employees. The idea of drive up is fantastic, especially during these times, but only if you have the competence to pull it off. read more

This used to be my go-to Target, but over the last 2/3 years it's gone SO downhill. It's very rare the associates even know anything about the store. I did self checkout and asked the associate to price match to Target online price and she said they don't do that. What? Manhattan Beach Target sure has no problem doing it. Worse target ever. I came in today with my boyfriend, sister and my little cousin with autism. And there was 2 workers that followed us around the whole store thinking we were going to steal. We were more than able to afford items. They made it more than obvious, either they were racist because we are Hispanic or they are very judgmental people. Since moving semi close to this location this has become my GO-TO Spot. This Target is never packed. It sits in a parking lot you would never expect to see a Target. This Target sits upstairs and has an escalator for you and your cart but I always use the stairs, I guess I am not lazy like that. There is a front parking lot with almost front door service or an adjacent parking structure. There is a Sprouts and other stores within walking distance of the front door. This Target is always clean and always seems to have helpful staff. I used to hit up other Targets but never again. read more

I'm a regular customer at this Target with not many complaints. However, today was a HOT MESS (i.e. Walmart). When I drove up there were more shopping carts scattered everywhere in the parking lot than cars. I saw an employee moving very slowly trying to round them all up, but I'm certain my 4 year old could have done the job faster. I grabbed a cart from the parking lot since there probably wouldn't be any inside. When I stepped inside, the first thing I see is a group of 6 customers waiting around for carts. When it was time to check out there were only about 4 registers open and each one had an average of 8 customers in line. At self-checkout, 2 of the 4 registers were out of service. Oof, another Target that has become a Walmart. read more

I don't really like two-story or multiple floor targets so this isn't my favorIte target.. you will have to take an escalator just to get to target and then an elevator down if you have a cart. It's a hassle. And it's hidden behind a shopping plaza and the actual galleria mall soo there's always heavy traffic around there. This target is only convenient if you're already shopping in the malls next to it and need to grab someething quick. It also feels like a smaller selection of goods. Although the building itself looks big tHe actual target is not that great. It feels messy and disfunctionall but i still like iit to some degree because after all it's your standard target and i love target! read more

Don't ever order pickup from this location, staff super incompetent, says order is ready within 2 hours, I arrive at 2 hours to give them ample time and then am told to wait a minute. 15 minutes go by and I someone drops off a cart and then the associates asks them about the order and am told to wait another "minute". It then proceeds to take 15 more minutes to finally complete my order even though they repeatedly tell me they aren't behind. I've now wasted 30 min of my life. read more

I've been coming to this location for about 5 years. Before I would roam around the store, but lately I've noticed an increase of traffic and now I am in and out the store. There is plenty of parking outdoor and shading spaces as the Target is located on the 2nd floor. They have a choice of stair, escalator, and elevator to get to the 2nd floor. Also, when you leave they have the cart escalator but I've noticed it broken several times, making it a nightmare to wait in line for the elevator, especially if its on the weekend. The store overall is clean and plenty of staff can be found on the floor. I also get my prescription medication here, so it's convenient... This place is humongous! When I entered they had an escalator that went up. I was shocked how big it was. LONGEST LINES I HAVE EVER SEEN ON A WEEKEND. I popped in there a few minutes ago it is about 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon, needed to pick up a pack of undershirts for my man. Well forget about it! Because out of about 20 check stands only four or five are open, the line for self-checkout is about 40 people long and every other line is a minimum of 20 people long. Seriously the worst service I have ever seen in my life I would expect this from Walmart but never Target. Never coming in here ever again a complete waste of my time. read more

Just got some great deals - so happy about that........ The ONLY thing that I don't appreciate here is not a huge deal but IT DOES concern me! I notice that the Sales Floor Employees are always greeting other Customers and offering assistance.....but not to me. I have spent thousands and I feel like I am not welcome or appreciated. This target is always well stocked and well maintained. It is my go to spot for most of my needs. I especially like the fresh produce and holiday item selection. Terrible location! I have visted here multiple times and each time their inventory levels on most things is very low or non-existent. It is a bit of a joke actually. I'm talking basic stuff like coffee pods, paper products, and food items. The shelves will be completely empty. Considering how large this location is I can't believe they do not have more support. The thing that really put me on edge was that the last time I visted I overheard a cashier speaking to another employee about how they were cutting hours that month. Um, cutting hours at a location where you can't even keep inventory levels up let alone keep the store clean!! wow. Mgmt needs an intervention ASAP. Worst target I've visited. So...it's Sunday, I get it but come on folks. I get that it might have been busy today but the ENTIRE store looks like it's Toy-R-Us the day after Christmas. Let's start with the returns department. Had I not known previously where it is in the store, I would have never found it hiding behind all those carts overflowing with go-backs. Woman's clothing department...yikes. There was no way to tell if you were in a particular section because every display had so much stuff on it from other displays. Basically, every display looked the same throughout the department. Small perk, this is where I found the one employee that was working today. Skipped the light bulbs and batteries. Onward to the grocery area (caution...this doesn't go well). Pretty much everything we came for was out of stock. Alcohol department...you couldn't even make a home bar with the stuff they had. Yogurt...meh, why bother. I'm sure Target thinks you'd compromise and pick up their fine store brand instead of your delicious favorite you've come to love. Philadelphia Cream Cheese...nope. Looks like you could stand to lose some weight so here is 150lbs of light cream cheese right next to the black hole that the stuff you actually wanted lives. Arizona tea. Granted, pretty specific item but there wasn't ANY teas. Tons of over priced Red Bull though. Now to the end of the shopping trip in the pharmacy department. Did someone rob this place or are they hosting one of those game shows where you try to fill as many shopping carts as you can in 30 seconds. Where is all the product? I just wanted one thing and it was even the store brand. Empty shelf. Come on people! So, finally to check out. Cashier asks the obligatory "did you find everything you were looking for today"? Um, no! We explain that we couldn't find "x" and she apologized and offered to get a manager to explain why you couldn't find what you wanted. You'd think the point of the question would be to locate the stuff you wanted and SELL MORE STUFF. Whatever. Starbucks is on par with the rest of the store but that's another review to write. read more
