0 stars for customer service or maybe lack of competent manager(s) whoever is responsible for doing the work schedules? Today, Sunday, afternoon I tried calling this store and I can't get through the operator; it kept on getting hung up. I tried the extension for electronics, finally I get through but to find out the person can't help me even though I have the DPCI number (item number) because the person I was able to reach was a mobile representative. Then I was told there is no one in electronics. Really?! On a Sunday? And when I asked to be transferred to the operator because I can't get through, she tells me that the operator is probably not in the store. What?! I used to work as an operator at Target years ago in the peninsula and this never ever happens. There was always more than one person in the office that can answer phone calls. What happened to customer service Target? Unless it is just a problem for this particular store because I usually get great customer service at any target I shop at or call... Tsk tsk so disappointed. Maybe corporate need to make big changes in this store. read more

I love target and this one is in a good location. There isn't all the traffic from bart like the old location and it helped to turn the empty space into something convenient for the residents of Richmond and San Pablo. The parking lot is pretty big and they usually have things in stock. read more

this is a review of the Target pharmacy. I go there because it is convenient and the staff is nice. the last time though I question their judgment. I literally came out of the hospital, wrist bands still on my wrist, and I waited at least 30 minutes to even begin my 3 prescription request. They appeared to be short staffed, only 1 person, but even after the 2nd person came on I was still ignored. I told them I needed a chair to wait as I was sick, they do have a bench there on the side. I could not stand in line for 30 minutes. I still had to be pushy as they kept on filling other people's orders before mine. I'm a 62 year old woman who is sick. Come on guys! where is your judgment? they apologized yes but didn't hurry, just said they were sorry. I wonder very much if I will ever return. While shopping at Target in the self check-out line I noticed the Associates harassing to African American women as they were checking out the associate did not pay any attention to the Latino people checking out because all her attention was on the black people. while she was harassing the black ladies she failed to realize that the Latinos left out without paying with a coloring book and colored pencils she did not know that this is occurring or had occurred until I had pointed it out. Omg. I went to the Wells Fargo on MacDonald to get cash. I had to use the bathroom too. They told me that the nearest restroom was at Target, which is cool. I like Target. Target is normally a clean, neat, and organized place. However today was different. I walked into the bathroom and almost threw up. Every toilet was left I un-flushed. There were toilet seat covers everywhere. The floor was soiled. It looked as if they hadn't cleaned it in a few weeks and it stunk. They better get it together or I am going to return to shopping at Walmart. read more

I'm giving this store a bad review we bought a Nintendo switch on Christmas and one of the controllers stop working within a month of the purchase we bought insurance on it and when we went to the store nobody could help us we talk to the manager and all he said was if you don't have the receipt we can do nothing and it's a expensive purchase I'm really disappointed in this store read more

I ordered items on line on Sunday, expecting a call for pick up on Monday. Monday afternoon I call to check on my order, I was transferred somewhere, I was put on hold, I waited for 30 minutes with no one returning back to the phone. I had to leave to go to a meeting, it's Tuesday and I still have not heard from Target as to when to come pick up my order. I could have gone in the store and got it by now! This target has spacious aisles, great service with returns, and purchases, and security. There is also a little clearance section with slightly discounted product. They have slowly began to incorporate a grocery section withauto lights to eave energy. They also have a killer dollar section! read more

Target is nice, friendly service, several items didn't have a full stock of sizes. This is the only Target I know of that has a police substation, not sure if this means a lot of thefts in the store or outside. Grocery section is very organized prices are reasonable, some items were cheaper than your regular grocery store. The only thing that irritated me was when you go to checkout they try to promote the Target card do you have one? I said yes but don't want to use it for this purchase just to speed up the service, the cashier went on to promote an additional 5% off for another card card since I didn't want to use my Target card by then I felt like I was getting pressured and just said no thanks to all. read more

Great in relation to other Targets. I absolutely hate the Target over on Eastshore in Berkeley. The staff have this Berzerkeley attitude like they are the oppressed proletariat and you are the petty bourgeois who force them to do unfair labor. At this Target in Richmond, people are happy to have a job, things are kept stocked, and the staff is friendly. Also, you'll find that things are often cheaper. I am so disgusted! This is my go to target store since it's close to my house and usually spend 300$ a week here. Unfortunately, the last few times I've been going in, there seems to be a downfall in the upkeep of the store. Today I went in and in the midst of my shopping noticed there was spilled yogurt in the cart from a prior customer. It was only a few products I needed and just kept them on the top of the cart. Upon checking out I told the clerk that there was spilt yogurt in the cart and she took the cart to have it cleaned. I know mistakes happen and didn't worry too much. I had to go back to target Bc I forgot tide and guess what... I was in a rush and grabbed any cart in front of the store that had been lined up and ready to go for tmrw..went to go get my products and yet AGAIN, picked up the same cart! Do you not clean your store? This is so disgusting!!! I told the lady checking me out and she had the nerve to tell me I didn't have to pick that cart! I will be calling corporate tmrw and driving an extra 10 minutes to another target when I need to go! Target Mobile (Cell phone Dept.) Service was horrible. I got cell phone from Target Richmond Store but I decided to return them because I change my mind. I went to return them and first I was turned away because there was no manager. The second time I went there to return it, the sales associate named "Dante" was so rude. I believe it was because he lost the sales commission. I told them that I had to go somewhere and therefore asked them to make my transaction faster. His reply was that "He does not care and He does not know what the f***k I was taking." It took more than hour to return the phone. I believe they purposely make it harder to return.
