I've really enjoyed coming to this Target location! It's one of the older Target stores in Sacramento, but I like that they seem to always have the item I'm looking for in stock, when all of the other Target locations in Sacramento are out of stock. Also, the customer service here has been great. Viet from Guest Service was really nice and accommodating - he allowed me to get a price adjustment on a sweater that went on sale that I bought a week ago at regular price, and he let me use the Cartwheel deal that was going on in addition to that. When I had called the Target in Rancho Cordova (closest one to me) about doing that, they said that I could only do the price adjustment, not use Cartwheel. I appreciate Viet going the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. When I was shopping in the Christmas area, there was an employee walking around greeting people and asking how they're doing. I appreciated that because it made me feel more comfortable asking him a question about an item, without it feeling like I was bothering him. When I finished my purchase at Self-Checkout, one of the employees standing nearby said, "Have a nice day!" I don't think that's ever occurred at other Target stores I've been to when I'm at Self-Checkout. I was pleased. Lastly, this location has a Starbucks inside, so now there's really no reason for me to not come here in the future. Many years ago they didn't have a Starbucks here, so it's nice seeing that that's available too now at this location. read more

The night crew (10pm) were so rude -especially the two young female employees who were working in the camera and sound department. I will be filing a formal.complaint with the corporate office tomorrow morning. I will never frequent this location again. read more

This downtown Target is very unique in a demographics. It attracts affluent Land Park crowd and the poverty stricken Marina Vista and Alder Grove communities. So basically every time you go here is somewhat of an adventure. I do like the ease of the parking lot and getting in and out. There's always plenty of parking, and the side area on the store is my favorite place to park to avoid some of the traffic. The store is not the cleanest but yet it has everything you need in Target. I find that there are times of the day where they limit the amount of checkers so the lines can severely pile up. I frequent this Target the most then Natomas then Foothill Farms. read more

This always happens every time I come here. Either it's poorly managed or the supply chain needs to be fixed. We ordered our product online. Pulled into the pickup parking spot. Watched product go out to other cars. Target peson comes to our car and tells us that they gave one of our bags to someone else. Of course it was a timely thing, out of stock everywhere else and here now. Two people came over to tell us that it wasn't their fault. And the kick in the pants was when they paused giving us our stuff that they hadn't given away to check our order number. Understandable, sure. Consistent? Not do much apparently. read more

If you don't want to provide services over the phone, then you need to just quit offering any services over the phone. I wanted to know if I should spend my gas money and risk covid to get a video game system in a certain color. I waited on hold for 5+ minutes to speak to someone in the electronics department: the electronics department was polite and told me they would check on the status of my item -- Somehow I got transferred to customer service where I was informed that the game system I asked about "was all online" (not mentioned previously by the electronics department????) -- The customer service representative sounded tired and annoyed with my existence and she said she could "TRY" to transfer me back. Foreshadow much? I sat on hold with silence for 2-3 minutes before I thought it seemed futile. Thanks for wasting my life in exchange for my interest in your products, geez. read more

Had the worst experience at this Target. When I was in the store my car in the parking lot got hit and the driver took off. Luckily an employee witnessed the hit and run and took a picture while it was taking place, then left me note with their contact info. I went into the store to see if they could retrieve and save the security video of the incident in the case it was needed by the police. Joshua, the security guard, was nice enough at first and took my car information and said he would get security to time-stamp the video. When I got home and filed the police report I realized I did not share my phone and last name so I called Target to provide that. Joshua then seemed to cool a little and suggested "there are a lot of trees in the lot and it's unlikely the incident was recorded". I asked him to double check, and he came back in a couple minutes and said they didn't see it. He didn't even ask me what time it happened so I have a hunch he didn't do a thing. I could tell by his tone he was fed up so I asked to speak to a manager. After getting hung up on 3 times I got connected to someone who took my info and said the same thing: "there are a lot of trees in the parking lot and this is an old store so it's possible the cameras were not replaced if they broke". My car was right smack in the middle of the parking lot where there are no trees. He then said he would check the tape and get back to me. I never heard back. I'm pretty sure at this point they don't have cameras in the lot even though each pole has a sign saying they do, so please be aware of that. If they do it's even worse after the way I was brushed off. I was incredibly polite and thankful on the phone because I know this type of thing could be a headache for them. I was just looking for a little bit of help for an incident that occurred on their property by someone shopping at their store. Unfortunately, I learned security and management are definitely not on board for that. I live in Land Park and have been shopping at this Target for many years (literally since the place was constructed and opened way long ago). I'll be going elsewhere from now on. I didn't get any names but I was surprised by what I heard this morning towards the customers who were waiting in line for cards. I'm not sure what accounted for the rude and snarky remarks the three target employees were making towards them but it definitely was not a good look for Target to be treating any customers/people that way. I don't usually live around this vicinity of area but was in the neighborhood and stopped by this Target! It's a super regular / basic target. Nothing out of the ordinary. From what I've seen when I walked in it was clean! The staff as well were very nice to me especially the cashier lady (she complimented on my chocker necklace). The prices are not as cheap as Walmart (unfortunately there aren't more Walmart around Sacramento) I left as a happy customer with my toilet paper and my nail polish. read more

3 stars because I'm not very impressed with the quality of my photo prints from Target, but I still love Target. I usually go to Costco to print my photos, but the Costco photo website isn't working at the moment, so I thought Target would be the next best choice compared to Walgreens, Walmart, and etc. I mean the prints were okay, but there were a few random uneven white borders on two of my pictures :( ??? Also, I had to wait a bit until I found someone to help me, since no one stands at the photo center. On the side note, there are two photo kiosk, so you can stop by with your smartphone, camera, or whatever to upload/print your pictures :) read more

I go here a lot because I go to school nearby and some of my favorite restaurants are near by too. When school is over and I need to buy some school supplies, this is the first place I think about. It's like a typical Target like the other target stores. I cannot say they treat customers differently and the place is just overly runned down or not. I cannot compare it that way here. I like it here because things are a lot easier to go through the lines here. It seems to not get overly crowded when I come here. I live near a "WALMART" but it is always overly crowded. It feels like going to an airport leaving you with exhaustion. So this is the main reasons I like this Target. I usually already know what I want before walking in. I get what I want and then pay. read more

While I am 400 miles away sacrificing my sanity standing in 1 hour lines riding those creepy so-called happy rides in Fantasyland I find out my credit card was being used at my local Target. Thank u watcher of my finaces & American Express, if it weren't for American Express alerts we wouldn't have had our $400 (they charged $100 on four separate transactions) reimbursed. From now on, I will only use gifts cards & cash at the very rare times I shop here. A couple months later.... I recently ordered some bathing suit tops, using a gift card only, since I really don't trust Target anymore. I ordered it April 16 & it just arrived April 28. That's 12 days later. That being said, if you want items for a specific date, make sure you have at least a few weeks ahead of the date you want to use the items. I also ordered replacement cushions for my Rolston patio chairs that we bought maybe, 7 years ago, which have actually kept up pretty well despite its been in the sun for 2 years. But the replacement cushions which I ordered April 16th, has not yet arrived. Target website says it will arrive as late as May 7. Really?!? That's 3 weeks! Sheesh! Anyhoo, like I said, if you want an item, order knowing this so you are well aware of when your items will arrive. In the future, I will continue to use cash to buy my gift cards & use gift cards only when purchasing here. There was a very recent lawsuit against Target due to credit card breach & I don't wanna risk being one of those people again. read more

The Broadway Target is a tough store to love. You are smaller than most Targets with less selection and more likely to be sold out of the stuff I want. This location is very convenient, but that would be the only reason I shop here. They have the exact same stuff as every other Target - and every other Wal-Mart (ahem!) - so the overall experience is the same. They have Starbucks and a decent grocery section. I will credit this store with carrying a large selection of natural cleaning products and some organic food options, plus Doritos and beef jerky when the cravings happen. One of the very cool things about this location is the homage to Edmonds Field which used to be on the property. They have a plaque inside the store and a marker in the parking lot where home base used to stand. That is pretty nice to see every visit! read more

The staff seems just as lazy and careless as Walmart. I asked the employees if they knew where the pedicure tubs were, three of them said "we don't sell it here" and didn't even bother checking. I live next to here and I've seen them before. I walk towards the kids toys and find three different pedicure tubs. Literally, they are no help whatsoever. I'd prefer going to a different Target, but this is the closest one. Before the staff use to be very polite, professional, and easy to communicate with. Even with their hourly wage, they use to check if items were in stock and were very knowledgeable about just about everything. Not anymore. read more

Literally had gotten a pair of AirPods Pro price matched, came back to get my other pair and was told I wasn't able to do this almost felt like one of the employees put a bad word out and then they started acting super rude was completely unprofessional and did not want to even spend the first $255 I spent there in the first place staff is really ghetto and is very uneducated and rude. Love Target in general! The Red Card saves 5%! Started using their Cartwheel app for an additional 5% off select items. This store has a Starbucks inside! Bonus! Except they don't always have everything a stand alone Starbucks usually has. The store itself is clean. Employees are average--haven't been floored by amazing customer service. If you go later in the night, wait time in line is about 5 minutes. Parking is great! Note: quite a few cops trolling the area. :-/ read more

My experiences at giant retail chain stores are usually fairly consistent. I'm not sure what happened to this Target, but the check out lines have become a source of anxiety for me. It used to be quick. Did you lay a bunch of people off, Target? I had to leave the line the other day, because the ancient check-out lady was having a competition with her ancient customer over WHO COULD BE MORE OLD. It was a tie. They both won. The remodel is nice but they are constantly out of everything and have now locked almost all hygiene products up. I waited ringing for an employee for 15 minutes before i had to find someone to then call someone else to come get toothpaste for me which would of usually taken me less than 10 minutes to do. Was also made aware that a lot of their lock cases don't actually even notify anyone so you're left waiting for no one to come. read more

This is location is a P.O.S and would rather go to a Walmart. Every damn time I go here I leave disappointed in how poorly stocked their shelves are. I was recently here this past weekend and this Target seems to be in the process of undergoing construction changes to add their "Fresh Grocery Store" in to the mix along with other local Sacramento Target Stores. This is exciting! Can't wait to bike here to pick up food! Although there was a lot of construction and maintenance going on, I was still able to find the things I needed in a reasonable amount of time. The employees were helpful when I asked where certain things and items could be located. I wish there were more bike racks outside this Target. It's situations in the downtown area and a lot of people bike to this Target. I know that there have been a few times that I've had to attach my bike to tree or pole. Although I've had good experiences with the staff and have found them quite helpful, I no longer feel safe visiting this location after dark. Over the past six months, I've had aggressive panhandlers, sometimes on bikes, chase me to my vehicle. I've seen people shooting up on the north side of the property adjacent to Broadway, and on the south side of the property in the south eastern parking lot. I would be very helpful to hire security to patrol the parking lots and outside of the store. read more

I thought I'd written a review of this Target. The Target on Riverside has gone downhill. They are out of everything. The store is a mess and they are not enforcing social distancing nor correctly sanitizing registers, ATM's etc. If you worry about contracting covid I would stay away from this store right now. This target sucks, for whatever reason they decided to do away with baskets so your only option is to lug around a cart when you only need 5 things or just carry everything around in your arms trying not to drop it. They also recently locked up stuff like deodorant and laundry detergent which is an enormous hassle, and on any given day one or more of the self checkouts will be down resulting in long checkout lines. It's a clean, and organized target. It's slightly more than Walmart it's worth it just to go to target to avoid the kind of people that shop at Walmart. Most of the cashiers are friendly and helpful. If you need any last minute items for dinner they have a large selection of grocery items. read more

Finally, it's a super Target! Hurray, I can buy my groceries here. I like this Target less than the other Targets in Sacramento because I feel like it isn't as nice compared to the newer ones. I am not particularly fond of the location either, but it is the closest target to me. It does satisfy your Target needs or whatever you need to get at Target + groceries. I like buying groceries here overall. Parking lot is big but when I am lazy and I want to park closer to the store, sometimes it's not always feasible. Overall, if this Target is close by you, go ahead and shop there. However, when there's a popular item on sale, it disappears from the shelf faster than I would like. read more

I love that this particular Target has Wifi & a Starbucks. Automatic 5 stars for me! The parking is great. I wish all stores had a big parking lot like this one. I was recently in this store searching for a particular DVD and two employees helped me find it. They stopped me in the electronic section I was in and asked if I needed any help finding anything. I told them what I was looking for was in the ad but could not find it. They got on their walkie talkies and searched for what I was looking for. After a few minutes of them talking to other employees and looking on their devices, they were able to direct me to where the DVD was held. There's been other times when I just go in browsing. I've been stopped by the employees just to chat. Of course they ask if I need any help finding anything. At checkout, employees are very nice and always make small talk. I really like how this store has excellent customer service. read more
