Giving 2 stars to the nice young man at the register who was the ONLY clerk taking care of a long line of customers. Without him, This Target and many others deserve ZERO for not scheduling more "team members"(remember that term???) available to help customer on the floor and at registers. How can self-serve checkouts be cost-cutting while we've all encountered check-out stations be abandoned by shoplifters who scan merchandise and leave without paying???? Target has reduced the size of its staff to where there is no possibility of Customer Service. They have Reduced the number of Handicapped Parking Spots to adjust for Customer who are picking up their items. I waited in line to pay today, yes the day before Easter for almost 15 minutes & your Self Service Lanes were just as long due to only having 3 of those opened. I Understand the logistics of having your merchandise in several places, makes the consumer walk throughout the store. Though this becomes exhausting & you never feel that you have seen everything! I have Reduced my shopping @ Target, you carry to much of your own brands, thus not offering a good variety. The Homeless has almost made me stop shopping there @ all. I understand that they are in a difficult position in their lives. Though this being said, when I can't get to the merchandise I am interested in because 1 is laying or sitting on the floor, I Refuse to go anywhere near them. This is my hometown Target that I visited over 20 years. It's subtly one of the best targets I've visited due to its larger size and excellent selection of items that rivals Super Walmarts. I've never had any issues shopping there for so long, which is a testament that they're doing an excellent job (though I haven't seen the new layout). It's also conveniently located next to many other stores in an indoor shopping center, and I've always found the walk between the stores very relaxing as its clean and not crowded like most malls. read more

It seems the land of two-story Targets (pronounced Tar-shjay) are the norm. If that's the case, this one is no different. The customer service, for the most part, it really good (more on the "for the most part" later). The layout of the store is convenient: bath furnishings, cleaning supplies, children's clothing and toys are upstairs (along with seasonal items) and the electronics, groceries, men's/women's clothing are downstairs. There are no registers upstairs, though. Parking isn't abundant, but enough. Except during the Christmas season. They have tons of registers and they seem to have enough of them open at the right time. They have never given me problems with returns, which is good because I am notorious for buying stuff and then figuring out I have 10x of said item and returning it. There is an entrance to the mall in the back and they do have the cool shopping cart escalators. Also, there is an elevator in the middle for those with strollers or in a wheelchair. However, it would be kind of cool to see someone put one of those in the cart escalator. Now, for that "for the most part" part. I went there one time and I was using my credit card. Normally, it will say the price on the pad, but this time it didn't. The lady told me the price, but no way I'm signing it if it doesn't have the price. I could be signing it for $113 (instead of the $13 that it was) and be liable for it. She didn't understand why I wouldn't sign it. Isn't that just common sense, lady? Anyway, since it was only $13, she accepted without a signature. But, not without giving me an attitude first. Minus 1 star. read more

I usually don't write reviews for a big department store like this because customer service is always neutral, but damn. This experience today was pretty annoying. I am usually a patient person, I waited 20 mins at the electronics department for someone to show up and grab a game for me. One guy was on his break and waiting to get rung up too but no one showed so he decided to help me which is AMAZING but he didn't have the key so he still couldn't help. He's the reason why I gave two stars instead of one. I ended up leaving the counter to ask someone else for help but saw that someone was finally coming to help other customers. So now they ended up helping two other customers who waited 0 mins, another customer was standing around waiting who also waited less than I did, and when another employee came he just automatically helped that guy instead. This is one of the closest Target locations to me, but I find that it is pretty cluttered and messy most the time. Perhaps it was the aisles I visited (shoes, women's clothing, activewear), but i was somewhat disappointed at the messy array I found the areas to be in! I came around 5:30pm on a weekday and it was packed. There was a point in time when there were only 2 registers open and the lines were 8 people deep each. Eventually, they realized they needed to open another register, which they did, so that was nice. But I definitely don't recommend coming to this Target at rush-hour time (after 5pm!) read more

Warning: Try to not use the restrooms at Target anywhere. I have never once seen a clean restroom that didn't stink at Target ever. It seems like they rarely clean the bathrooms. Some of the people there are so gross. They don't even flush the toilets! Anyways, this particular Target usually looks like a tornado just hit it most of the time. I feel sorry for the people who work there. Some of the people who shop there are disgusting pigs. They'll leave trash all over the place and mess up mess up the clothing displays, open up packages of underwear, and one time I even saw woman change their kids diaper in the baby section. WTF? There is a bathroom for that! The lines are almost always very long here. If you see something you like, get it as they run out of cute stuff quickly at times. There is no telling if they'll get more in stock soon or not. As for the food, they have the best chicken breasts seasoned with pesto here in the meat section. It's very tender and tasty. Also, there is a Starbucks and a cafe at this location. They sell mini pizza hut pizzas, hot dogs, popcorn, and pretzels there. They even have a few healthy snack options there like salads. I can usually find stuff here that I can't find at most places at times. Don't forget to bring your own bag. They charge .10 cents for each bag. Most of the people who work here are nice. If you buy booze here, you might have to wait a long time for one of the managers to approve the sale. They check for I.D here. So maybe it'd be better to get it at Walmart, Lucky's, Nob Hill, Safeway, or a nearby liquor store instead. read more

I swung by here real quick after work to grab some cosmetic necessities cuz after YouTubing a whole buncha beauty experts I decided I should lay off the luxuriousness of Nordstrom and Sephora makeup buys for a bit. Just like any other Target, but this target is broken up into two stories. Westfield Target. Parking is pretty spacious, I even forgot where I parked. Place around area is under construction right now. I came here after going to Storables. I couldn't find this cubed box for my auntie's salon for her locker there, but I found it here! My aunt needed a cubed plastic clear box to store her hair dye. It was in the bathroom aisle for holding toiletry supplies "Tote Basket". - $10.49. Went to Target today to make a return. I did not have a receipt, but it was the store brand(unopened). The item costs $12.99(new), but they would only give me $2.74 in store credit! They said that they don't know if I bought this on sale or with a discount. Fine!! But 21% of the original price- unacceptable!! Target just lost a customer for life. The store is clean, well laid out and well stocked. But the warning I will give anyone planning to visit this store is to watch out for the sheer number of blatantly sick people who insist on shopping here. One lady stood in the middle of the kids clothing section, by herself, projectile coughing like a giant, rotating germ sprinkler. Another lady was wandering around with a kleenex pushed up against her nose, hunched over miserably in the toy section, touching everything. The lady behind us at the check out was sniffling and wiping her nose on her sleeve. AAAAAAH!!! Just like most other women, I'm a huge fan of Target. You know how it is: go in for one item, come out with thirty, none of which are the one you went there for. Happens all too often. I love having the Target app on my iPad for keeping up with the ads and sales. This location in particular has been good about clearance- it's a mess, as is expected, but it's a large mess and there's quite a bit to sort through! Always be sure to try on though before you buy- even if it's a pain in the ass. Even the same store-brands here (Mossimo, for example) seems to have inconsistencies of fit even with the same item (jeans, shirts, dresses). This location is two stories, which I guess is due to space constraints being at a mall. I've only been to one other two-story location, in Florida, and I always find them odd. I usually forget entirely about the second floor unless I really need something up there- luckily, it seems like the main thing up there is men's clothing, so unless I"m outfitting my BF for a new season, I'm usually downstairs. Service is okay here. Fitting room monitors have been curt and bored-looking, but as long as they don't hassle me or are downright rude, I could care less. Lines tend to be on the slower side, but maybe that's because I tend to go on weekends when they're a little busier. Store itself, aside from the clearance zone, is usually pretty clean. read more

I go to different Targets frequently and this is the WORST Target I have been to in the terms of customer service. No one seems to know where any of their products are located! I asked in 3 different departments for 3 different items and they looked at me with blank faces and walked up and down the isles looking... finally I would to ask them to ask another employee or look it up for me. One employee couldn't look it up because he didn't know how to spell Upholstery (I needed Upholstery cleaner). I. Love. This. Target! I could give you 100 Target stores and 100 problems I have with them. Not the Saratoga store. This store does it right. And even when they do it wrong, they know how to swoop in and make it right. First I must give a shout out and an applause to the target employee who holds down this store at its epicenter. Marcella. Yes that's right Marcella in customer service saves Target's tushy on many occasions. For the past two years I've been coming to this location on a weekly basis. I do a lot of online ordering and I have my items sent to this store for pick up. Marcella works during the week in the morning mid day hours and she is amazing in customer service. I have seen the good, the bad and the truly ugly go down waiting in line at customer service and Marcella never raises her voice nor speaks to customers in a disrespectful manner (even thou I've seen customers be downright indignant to her. ) Marcella is always professional and takes care of her line. Anyone who is a regular here knows the customer service line can get all the way over to the cart area. Marcella will knock down that line in a matter of minutes. I want to thank Target for having Marcella in customer service as I believe many problems start there and I have seen first hand how she gets it handle on her own or on occasion with some assistance from management. Marcella is invested in what she does everyday and she makes a point to speak to everyone while she is handling their transaction. She does it with a smile on her face. I'm an oldie but goodie and I will admit that I drive out of my way and past two other Targets to shop at this one because of phenomenal people like Marcella. I've had some wonderful conversations with her and I feel loyalty to her and this store. Okay now about this store - always a target member ready to help or answer a question. Shelves are always stocked. They keep the store pretty clean. And there is a young lady that works the self service line a lot during the mornings and you'd swear she was the concierge at a hotel. The questions people come in and ask her - where is T-Mobile at? How many miles to the shark tank? Where is this credit union? Hello it's Target not google. But she keeps a smile on her face and I've seen her whip out her phone a couple of times to help give them their non target answer. That people is some damn good service! This store has really gone downhill. They seem to have let go of all the register cashiers and only have self serve checkouts that are dirty and malfunction. There's really very little things in the world that Target can't provide me. I go here for everything, from groceries, to clothe, and all my shampoos, drain-o, shoes, electronics, everything! Not to mention that shopkick the iphone app gives you points when you check into Target stores! The store itself is quite clean and as a chain their prices are usually lower than Walgreens, however we don't have them in SF, so when I do drop into a Target I like to pick up EVERYTHING I need. This trip they didn't have my soup. This is one of my favorite Targets. The guest services is usually very good. But today I had a horrible experience with one of the associates with a head scarf. She was rude to me and the Chinese guy after me. When I tried to return something, she kept making impatient noises and rolling her eyes. She was so irritated that she had to process a return. But she was nice to the white person before me since that guy was picking up something. Super racist behavior :( I don't understand why target has such people in their guest services. It tarnishes Target's reputation. She was arguing a lot with the Chinese guy when I left. I'm going to steer clear of the target guest services if she is manning the counter. I've come here multiple times and they've been out of things like eggs and milk and other essential items that you think a Target would always be stocked up on. This Target is my go to target as its the closest to me. I went to target a couple weeks 8/15/2020 ago for my son to pick up some new school clothes. We grabed some and went to check out. About half the clothes my son picked out when we went to cashier, said they cannot sell until 8/30/2020. When the cashier went to ask the manager onsight (Beatrice) She took the clothes and left. When the cashier came back she said she was told those clothes were not supposed to be on the floor until 8/30 as they are a special release. I think the way it was handeled was poor. She could have came and apologized, or put it away for us to pick up or something. Fast forward 2 weeks, 8/30/2020 we go back to try to get the clothes. The clothes were not on the floor, I asked a lady who was stocking and she wasnt sure what i was asking for. I asked to talk to a manager. The lady came up, and she said they had not put the clothes ont he floor yet 12:00. she had us go downstairs to the womens area and she pulled some of the clothers and let us pick out what we wanted. Overall this target seems to be ran poorly. They are able to put the clothes 2 weeks early, but cannot put the clothes out properly on the date it was to be released. This was for the Galaxy's Edge Trading Outpost. looking at other targets this was a big release, but this target was not set up and disorganized. Also while on this mad goose chase, we saw multiple team members where their masks on their chins, I wasnt aware chin masks were ok way to prevent spread of Covid 19. read more

I stumbled upon this target after leaving a store in the shopping plaza across the street. It's a pretty nice size location being that it has two levels. I found that the store was pretty clean despite the fact that there were quite a bit of empty shelves in the grocery area. I'm not sure if it may be this particular location or what, but their items are a bit marked up in price compared to other Target stores in the area. For anyone that is into wine and spirits, they have a vast selection. As other reviews have stated, the grocery section is not that big and they don't have a big selection of vegetarian/vegan pre-packaged items. If you are an ice cream enthusiast, they seem to have plenty of that. The area for make up, soap and personal items were fully stocked and the presentation was very acceptable. I will still give this Target another try despite going on a Saturday and seeing quite a bit of empty shelves. read more

Humm, I was looking for product and happened to come across to associates working on a isle in the pharmacy area. One seemed to out rank the other because she was directing and had a handheld computer and a cell in the other. When I ask about a product the lead willingly offered to check. Now I do not know what she was doing on her cell but it was quite a while before she switched to her computer. I felt like I was left out to dry, going through my mind was is she actually checking for the product or texting.
