Ever since we came my partner has been asking when we'll come back, and we definitely will be coming back! Easy and clear on how to order, good variety of options, food came out hot, fresh, and quickly. The tikki masala fries (forgot a picture) with tikka sauce were delicious, and the seasoning will definitely get all over your fingers, so be prepared. I'm a big fan of their rice, super fragrant, I got the Yellow Daal Curry with Chicken (Medium) - unfortunately it was just a little too spicy for my (admittedly low) tolerance, but the flavor was good and the spice wasn't an immediate kick, it coats the mouth. My partner got the Tikka Masala with Lamb (Mild) and it was quite tasty, the lamb was good with no noticeable gaminess. They provided plenty of naan and roti- both were tasty and definitely would order just one next time (we were feeling a bit hungry lol).

TikTok influenced me to try this franchise. I had never had Indian food before, but have been open to trying it. I went around noon on a Monday and the dining room was not busy. However their DoorDash, Uber Eats, and personal online ordering pick up was busy. It was hard to get a close parking spot at the front of the restaurant, but I was able to find parking elsewhere. The restaurant was clean, full of natural light, and delicious scents of spices were in the air. I was greeted upon entering and the employee was very kind. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with medium spice level, the Chicken Biryanis w/ medium spice level, garlic naan bread, and the mango lemonade. Both dishes were very good and well seasoned. It's hard to say which one I preferred over the other because they were both great choices. The garlic naan did not taste like anything. Maybe the cooks mixed up my naan order with another to go order. The mango lemonade was decent. It was not overly sweet which I appreciated. Next time I go I want to try the mango lassi. The food did not take long to come out. Maybe 7-10 minute wait time and the food was fresh and piping hot. Overall I spent $31 dollars on my food. By the way this is a cashless establishment. If I had to rate my first time experience. I would give it a 10/10. I plan on returning to Tarka and trying other items on the menu. I am taking friends and family here next time.

Very cozy establishment! When I say cozy I mean a relaxing environment where you can enjoy great food! Pet friendly! I set outside with my Frenchie while she enjoyed the weather. The Rose lemonade was awesome! So refreshing! The food is amazing itself too! I can say my chicken biryani was ok! The flavors were good but something was missing! The wings were soooooo good! I'm speechless! I will definitely return soon! The wait time was not bad at all! This establishment is in a shared parking lot!

Just stopping in to pick up dinner. It was pick up and go but this employee Elsa was just over the top kind. Her smile is magical and contagious she's definitely the kind of person that brings joy to any establishment. They are lucky to have her here on to the food They now have cheese naan which I decided to try this time along with my typical biryani rice and curry chicken and tarka Dal. Their mango lemonade is wonderful basically everything you try here you will love. It's definitely my go-to spot for home style cooking with fast food preparation.

This place never disappoints. Chicken Tikka Masala is clutch as always. Paneer and samosas made for a great appetizer. Place is clean and service is friendly and quick. Worth a check out.

Tarka offers a great selection of North Indian food for veg and non-veg tastes. They're located in a nice part of Spring, with other cool eateries such as Cava and Urban Bird (the latter replaced BGood, unfortunately) are. I got some food to-go on a weeknight, and it included a serving of garlic naan and Kofta Korma, the latter of which is a dish based in a nut gravy with potato-based "meatballs". Normally the korma comes with rice, but I asked for naan instead of rice, and just had to pay the difference. The portions were more than enough for one person! Perhaps it's because I'm now used to the "smaller" portions offered in European restaurants (including Indian restaurants based in Europe), but I had a difficult time finishing all the Kofta Korma plus naan. But nevertheless, it all tasted delicious! I asked for medium spice, and it was perfect.

3 semi adults and 1 grandbaby enjoyed our meals. We sampled everything. The vegetable samosas were very tasty. My wife got the child's portion of chicken tikka masala with no heat. I got the chicken tikka masala with 3 out of 4 heat level, almost too hot but I ate half and saved the rest for later. Our daughter-in-law had a cheesy naan and shared it, very good. She also had a mild chicken tikka masala. She got a small order of fries for the youngster. I had a regular naan, usually go with garlic but the plain hit the spot. My wife and I usually get the hot chai tea and then pour it over ice, try it! You'll like it. We love that they let you order a smaller portion, the only down side is it has to be mild...

Cool little simi fast food joint. Food is very good. Tika was very good. Naan was fresh chewy and delicious. Authentic Music playing to round it all out.

First time here. My wife and I love Indian food. When we walked in, we found it to be set up as a partial service, fast food style restaurant. We were ordering carry out. The dining room was very clean. The color scheme and decor was of Indian influence. The staff were very friendly. One of the managers took our order. She was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. We ordered 2 orders of Vegetable Samosas, they were good, but had a slight after taste, reminiscent of previously frozen food. We did enjoy the Mint-Tamarind-Yogurt Chutney that came with it. An order of Vegetable Biryani, it gave the impression of being fresh and was nicely seasoned. For entrees, we ordered 4 Chicken Tikka Masala's, 2 mild, 1 medium, and I ordered hot. They all had a good flavor, and seemed fresh. The only complaint is the scarcity of chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala, and their Hot spice level is what I would call mild. Of course, I know everybody has different tolerances to spicy foods, and that most restaurants like to play it safe. Overall, the food was decent. My biggest issue was paying $80 for what is essentially Indian fast food. Due to the lack of Indian restaurants in the area, I'm sure we will be back.

I had an alternate plan initially, but timing didn't work out for me, so I perused my bookmarks as I took the parking shuttle to my car and settled on Curry Masala. I called them once I got to my car and was told my order would be ready in about 20 minutes, as my GPS read out that I was 20 minutes from the restaurant. Everything was coming up Milhouse. Because I am a basic B, I ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. It was ready about 3 minutes after I arrived, and off to home I headed. I enjoyed both, but thought the tikka masala was definitely the better of the two, and the wife agreed. We had a favorite Indian spot really close to here that has unfortunately closed down, so I have been on the hunt for a new one. Curry Masala did not quite match that level, but it's not a bad option when in the area.

If you don't like spicy or seasoned food, this place works for you and you don't need to continue this review. If you do care for those things and you try this place, you might agree that the flavor profile is catering to the demographic of the location that the restaurant is in and not the authenticity of the culture that it should represent. I know of another location, but this is not to take away business for one restaurant, but to help encourage this one to lean more into its authentic flavor. Even if that means moving locations because your demographic may not care for it. I had chicken Biryani (safe for an American) but the chicken was dry and with minimal flavor. The rice lacked flavor. The raita was ok, if you like everything blended together. The onions and lime/lemon you might usually have on the side was not offered with this. Fried cauliflower with chicken 65 seasoning, had a good spice level, but it was soggy.

The neo modern interior is stylish and chic. Our group opted for the 10 course Chef's table tasting menu with wine pairings. The Chef's table is in a semi private space right in front of the kitchen, separated from the main dinning room by curtains. It was fun to watch the kitchen in action, but the area felt a bit warm at times. Presentation was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Each dish arrived in uniquely designed serve ware and each wine was presented in a different glass. The ingredients were top-notch, featuring Hokkaido scallops, Wagyu beef, yellowfin tuna, etc. That said, while some dishes highlighted the Indian flavors we were expecting, others leaned more towards American fusion. The wine pairing complemented each dish well and the sommelier provided detailed explanations for each wine. My favorite dishes of the night were the chaat and the lamb chop. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated the quality of the ingredients, the service and presentation. However I wish there's more emphasis on the Indian flavors. Based on the glimpse of the flavors we experienced in some of the courses, I suspect I might enjoy a simple bowl of vindaloo or curry from their regular menu more.
